Awakening Hidden Potential (2)

Fatima moved to the center once more, which was cleared of obstacles thanks to Ying Yue. She stood still, nervous but resolute.

"Then, I'll start!"

I warned. Fatima nodded her head firmly before bracing herself for what was to come.

When I activated the Potential Awakening, just like with Ying Yue, there was a slight delay before my energy got sucked away in one go. The same enfeebling sensation assaulted me as I felt lightheaded, but Ember and Fang were still by my side, supporting me, so I didn't stagger, at least.

I watched as the energy wave swallowed Fatima whole. I frowned as I watched, seeing how her expression warped in pain almost instantly. The process went the same with Ying Yue, with the energy washing over all her cells and activating them.

However, it wasn't as forceful, since Fatima was trying to limit the speed of the energy's spread. Due to that, the pain she was feeling was limited and lowered by at least half.
