Mission 9

IT'S ALREADY late in the night when we got home. Elizar is holding my hand the whole night. I bet he didn't notice, we are here in the house yet he is still holding my hand. We bumped into Roshiela on the stairs. She didn't say anything, she was just staring at our hands. It looked like Elizar noticed Roshiela's stare on our hands because he let go of my hands and continuously walked up stairs without looking at me nor saying anything.

When Elizar left, Roshiela immediately approached me and pulled me down stairs. She asked what happened between the two of us but I didn't answer but his kiss played in my mind again. If he is going to do what he promised, which is not to play with girls' hearts, I guess I'm doing a good job?

"I guess you should sleep already. You look tired," Roshiela said. I smiled at her and went upstairs.

ANOTHER DAY. It is already lunch and we are here in the cafeteria with the whole squad. I noticed Queenie's stares at Kio but the guy doesn't seem to notice. He is just eating like he is alone.

The others look like they are having fun, laughing at each other's jokes while eating our lunch.

I'm bothered by Elizar silence. He is acting like Kio today. Too cold and too quiet. I guess I need to talk to him later to ask him what his problem is. Classes are about to start so we fix our things and get ready for our classes.

I caught Dominic staring at me but he just smiled like I didn't catch him staring at me.

"Bye, see you when I see you, Kiarra." He even winked at me before he left. When I avert my gaze, Elizar cold stares give chills to my whole body and those stares make my knees weak. I bit my lower lip as I try to walk but I can't believe those cold stares affect my knees like this.

My knees trembling worsened when I felt Elizar's presence at my back.

"Kiarra." I felt the electricity when his hand touched my skin. Because of the weird feeling and reaction of my body to him, I ran out of places without saying a word. What...what did you just do to me, Elizar? How am I supposed to do my job when I'm feeling like this? I groaned and pulled my hair because of frustration.

"Kiarra?" I almost jumped because I was startled. I turned around to see who called me. Surprisingly, it is Dominic. "Are you okay?" he asked, pointing at my messy hair. I felt my cheeks heating up as I fixed my hair. I hope he didn't see what I did.

"Yes, I am. Why?" I answered. I smiled and wiggled his eyebrows to me as he spoke. "You know what? You look beautiful even if your hair is messy."

He even giggles as he says this word! That doesn't sound like a compliment at all. I raised my eyebrows and rolled my eyes at him.

"What do you want, Dominic?" He laughed at me. "Got me there, Kia."

I shook my head while smiling. These guys are really funny.

"I just want you to help me with...Roshiela." I was stunned, looking at him with confusion. He wants me to help me with Roshiela? Does he like her?

His face is all red. He was still scratching his head while avoiding looking at me. I giggle at his reaction.

"Do you like Roshiela? Oh my gosh, that was absorbed." I giggle more to annoy him. His face turned even redder and he glared at me.

"What? I'm just asking so don't look at me like that." I'm still laughing. Dominic is blushing! He just admitted that he likes his enemy's sister. I go towards him to tickled him while teasing him. He is groaning as he complains.

"Stop it, Kiarra!" He pulled me closer to stop me. I shriek when I lose my balance

I felt his hand on my waist and guided me to stand up. "What is happening here?" Me and Dominic were both stunned by the familiar coming from the back. I felt the coldness of my hands and felt when I found that Elizar was the one who spoke.

"Elizar..." I mumbled his name. I removed Dominic's hand at my waist and approached Elizar immediately. He told me to follow him so I did but I apologized to Dominic before leaving.

I didn't know where to go. I just followed him around and found that we were already in the parking area. My forehead furrowed and wondered what we were doing here.

"Get in," he commanded. I shook my head, not listening to his command and fighting his cold stares. "Classes are probably starting right now. We can't skip classes," I said, hold his arms and try to dragged him out to the parking area. He is too heavy and strong to get swayed.

"Get into the car now, Kiarra." My answer is still the same. I won't be carried away by those stares. He is the one who needs to be tamed, not me. I'm the one who should be listening, not the other way around.

"Get in--" "I said no, Elizar! We can't skip classes. What's wrong with you?" I angrily shouted at him. His jaw aggressively moved. I was surprise when he pulled me and snake his arms around my waist.

"Which arm do you prefer around your waist? Dominic's or mine? Hmm?" I was really surprised and I had nothing to say. I can feel his breath on my ears and it gives chills on my spines. I gulp as I welcome his hot stares. Once again, I feel weak.

"Answer me, Kiarra. Which one?" He buried his face as he asked me the same question. I can feel his hot breath on my neck, giving me an unknown feeling down to my stomach.

"Elizar..." I mumbled his name. He didn't answer so I continued. "Let's go now. Classes are already starting." He groaned and let me go. He walked me to my room but before that he said something I've never felt before.

"Your waist fits on my arms only. Remember that."
