"What if we got it wrong?"
"I don't think so. She looks literally like her."
"But he hasn't countered or rendered any venture,"
"He wouldn't make a reckless decision this time around, he knows what that cost him last time."
Mildred kept hearing low murmurings, her skull ached and the last thing she recollected before passing out was something behind her…a beast…
Wait…
BEAST!
Her eyes snap open as she concluded. It took some time to get her heavy eyes adapted to her surroundings, the walls were gray and the room dimmed, And two men were gazing at her with a weird... strange expression.
It took her a second to understand she was shackled.
"The beauty has finally awakened." Mildred peered at the terrifying-looking man before her, he had this alarming resemblance to Madman, especially the crazy glint in his eyes.
And where's Madman? She was with him at the time she passed out.
"Forsyth isn't here, and he won't be coming for the time being." The man with an odd resemblance to Madman spoke, his accent was slightly thicker than madman's.
"Wait…who's Forsyth?" Mildred asked, with a confused expression.
Her mistake.
The man's eyes dimmed at her words and she gulped softly. "Start the torture." He said to the other man.
Her heart skipped a beat.
"Wait, John…" The other man spoke up, he walked closer to the man and whispered into his ears.
Whatever the other man said seemed to be on her side as the man, John, glanced at her from the corner of his eyes as he shot her a glare.
"Ok then, no damage," John said and looked at her with hatred before stepping out of the room.
"You heard him," The other man said as he turned around. "No harm will come your way."
But Mildred didn't see it that way.

"You have to control yourself, John, she isn't Marleen."
A young killer-eyes woman, crouching close to the window said. Her tone spoke of the authority she had over John.
It was Sarah, John's betrothed.
"Why did you insist on us staying close to the forbidden church? Dominus's sister is situated at the church." John asked.
"What do you think would happen when two old enemies meet?" Sarah raised her brow at John, the smirk on her lips made his brows twitch.
"Killing three birds with one stone, I like that."
'Arrghhh!'
The scream from outside drew their attention. John hurried out of the room, then to the room he kept Mildred. Surely nothing can go wrong with such a short span of time, right?
The scene he saw as he hurried into the room left him in dread. The man he had kept to look after Mildred was lying on the cold floor, dead.
Mildred wasn't that powerful…
And the style of killing only belongs to one person…
DOMINUS!
"Shit."
He mumbled under his breath and ran to meet Sarah. He shoved the door open and stridden into the room, only to meet a terrifying scene.
His betrothed was raised into the air by a hand owned by Dominus.
"Don't! P..please…" John's voice wavered. Knowing Dominus and his temper, it'll only take a second to end her life.
Which he didn't want.
"You picked on a fragile girl, do you think I wouldn't pick on yours?" Dominus emotionlessly voiced out, his eyes staring at John.
"Elder Seth instructed me to, he needed Forsyth's weakness." John quickly explained. His legs shook slightly as he watched Sarah struggling. Surely, Dominus didn't know how to be gentle, even to a lady.
"Where's she?" Dominus interrogated, confusing John.
"Who?" John inquired.
"The girl you took."
John stared at Dominus with a confused expression, his eyes glanced at Sarah's before returning to Dominus.
"Didn't you…take her? She wasn't there. And you killed Jo,"
"No, she wasn't. I ended Jo since he attacked me."
John's eyes broadened from fear, without the girl, Sarah would be dead. "Just give me a few minutes, I'll find her and bring her…"
"Time up."
"Nooo!"
*crack*
*drop*
Sarah's limp body hit the floor hard. Her lifeless eyes held hostility.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" John's voice thundered the room, he watched as she evaporated into thin air, and tears threatened to fall from his eyes.
"She's dirt that's needed to be cleared off the earth," Dominus told calmly, his eyes emotionless.
"I'll be back, in your weakest point, and I'll break your comfort," John vowed. Sorrow clogged his heart and determination on his words.
Dominus remained serene to his outburst. He watched as John's heart broke, something he too had felt decades ago.
Something John himself had caused.
John disappeared from the room into thin air, leaving Dominus behind.
Dominus walked out of the room, he followed a corner and halted when he came face to face with a young man.
Forsyth.
"You knew she was here, and yet, you decided to end his girl. Aren't you a hypocrite?" Forsyth heckled. His hands were folded around his chest as he stared pointedly at Dominus.
"She wasn't supposed to live, you know that better than anybody," Dominus said. And it was true.
"Now John's coming after Mildred, he will want to take revenge." He hesitated and looked away from Dominus, "You should have left her alone."
"We both know he won't, not with her odd resemblance with Marleen."
"John's a psychopath, if he wants revenge, he will get it. Not caring who he messes with." Forsyth replied. He pushed his back off the wall and walked away, leaving Dominus.
He walked into a distance and waited when he heard something slashing through the air…
A knife!
"Dammit!" He threw himself backward, just in time to dodge the sharp knife directed at him. He spun to look at the bastard, but who he saw was a female.
The She-devil.
"I must say, you're really good at hiding your scent." She said as she walked closer to Forsyth, her purple eyes gazing threateningly at him.
"I didn't know you're still a church tattler," Forsyth commented, sarcastically.
"And I'm still good at knives, slitting your throat wouldn't take a sec."
"Filthy which." Forsyth mocked.
"I was relishing the show, you know. She was all delicate and frightened and so out of her zone, visualize how shitty-scared she was with a big creepy man in front of her?" She derided.
"Oh, she cried weakly as his fingers disappeared into her thighs. I wanted to help, but the scene was damn entertaining." She smiled wide-lipped at Forsyth, the anger spewing from him made her lips coil at the side.
