Tales Of Amarendra Vikramaditya

There was once a King named Aram Mahadev. He was the King of Cholas Kingdom. He had a Great Story Teller named Shuryam Chandraverma.

Aram Mahadev was very fond of stories since he was child. He always looked for people who could tell him new stories.

When he was young he started to listen to the stories of Shuryam Chandraverma. Chandraverma always tells new stories which are very interesting.

So one day King Aram asked Chandraverma to tell him an awesome story. Chandraverma thought for a few minutes after which he replies saying, "The Tales Of Amarendra Vikramaditya."

He starts by telling - "There was once a village named Shikhra. People of that place were not happy because there was always war situation. But they had a prophecy that stated that a boy is going to be born who is going to grow up and become a warrior who will save the people of that village and actually he will be sent by God."

"Soon a boy was born and they named him Amarendra Vikramaditya. He trained by himself under a peepal tree, near desert and even in his dreams!!". Aram Mahadev and everyone asked suddenly, "What?? How can anyone train in sleep..."

Chandraverma continues - "Ya he trains even in his dream. Now many years had been passed and now he was 20 years old."

"So he was ready to protect his village. Now many Kingdoms sent armies to conquer Shikra because it was very prosperous. Amarendra Vikramaditya on one side alone... and 40,000 soldiers on the other side. What is going to happen? Who is going to win?"

Aram tells "Hmm, how can he win.... impossible. I guess Shikhra will be destroyed."

Shuryam tells - "Your highness you are right because if any Kingdom gets Shikhra they will become strong so it would be better to destroy it but.... the prophecy was not fake. Vikramaditya alone defeated the whole army all 40,000 S O L D I E R S!!!!!"

Everyone shouted when they heard this, "W h a a a t!!!"

Shuryam continued "Yes, and after winning the battle he was titled as W A R G O D. So now he was returning from battlefield and while returning he sees that there was someone crying sitting beside the lake. He goes slowly towards her to see why she was crying and suddenly she disappears. He slips and falls in the lake and is never seen again. Before falling he saw that the tree was crying because it was injured so he tied a red cloth on it and then..., do you know what happened your highness."

King Aram said, "If he was not seen again then does that mean this great warrior died by slipping and falling into the lake...."

Shuryam says, "Yes, People said it was because his work was over due to which God called him back. So they started praying that tree and him. But after 5 years Amarendra Vikramaditya returns on a horse, now looking much more powerful as if he can defeat 4,00,000 soldiers easily. What had happened in these 5 years and where he had gone, what adventures he had..... " I'll tell it tomorrow Your Highness.

King says "You always keep suspenses. I can't wait till tomorrow."

But he knew that no matter what he said, Shuryam won't listen to him.

"Fine, I'll manage...", the King said.

Shuryam says, "Thanks for understanding Your Grace. I'll meet you tomorrow"

After saying that he leaves but he knew that these tales were just going to promote war which he realized just now.

'Maybe... I should tell tales that would promote harmony, and not war.', he thought and returned to his home.
