Chapter Fifteen

The sounds of heavy breathing filled the silent environment. The battle had ceased, and everyone’s gaze fixated on them. They observed each other, never daring to make a sudden movement. Anna glanced at her mother and nodded. They both knew what they had to do. The trio raced forward into the battlefield of mixed endeavors, setting their opponents into action. Her father morphed into his beast, devouring every obstacle in his way. Anna watched as her mother changed before her eyes into a merciless demon. The black veins in her face became more prominent and her eyes turned into the same shade of jade black. She knew that this battle would be a bloodbath.
