Man to Man

Setsuno pulls over and drives Yuno back to the hotel, "You left your brother behind, are you okay with that?"

"He can hike back I don't care." She snorts, "Just kidding, he knew I was going to ditch and asked Ackerman to come pick them up later they are probably picking up girls right about now."

Setsuno turns the car around and smiles at Yuno driving to a club nearby smirking, "I think we need to have a little fun too."

Setsuno holds out his hand to Yuno and she laughs resting her hand on his hooking their arms together walking into the club taking a seat by the bar giggling like underaged teens about to get away with something bad,

"So, what is first?" Setsuno asks, shaking his head when Yuno shrugs her shoulders as a reply.

"Hey, how may I help you?" The female bartender is asking Setsuno specifically and he rolls his eyes and orders a round of shots, "First one to tap out is settling the bill, bartender keep them coming."

Yuno takes a deep breath stretching and Setsuno narrows his eyes when he remembers Yuno's ability.

"No using your ability until tomorrow 6 AM, that's when we're leaving."

Yuno cocks a brow and shakes her head, "It's 6 PM right now, the hell are we doing here all night?"

"Clubbing duh, now relax, don't you think you need practice for the summer vacation we're planning?"

Yuno takes a swig of her first shot and then the second they spend the first hour taking shots splitting the bill in the end. Yuno was the first to tap out though.

They take a seat outside casually chatting the night was pretty slow until they hit the dance floor and danced all morning.

Tachibana's head perks up when Tori wakes up only thinking about Snow. He checks the time, it's 7 AM, he barely slept and all he wants to do is get home and sleep. He doesn't bother with the goodbyes.

Yuno brushes her teeth after the shower and hears the door unlock.

Tachibana walks in holding Tori who's happy to have Snow back and runs to his room to play. Tachibana walks into the bedroom taking off his jacket after throwing the keys on the bed even though he knows Yuno will get mad about that.

She once flopped on a set of keys and it hurt pretty bad.

Yuno is brushing her teeth wearing shades in the house.

"Let me guess, Setsuno."

Yuno nods and takes the shades off going to rinse her mouth. When she's done she comes out going straight to Tori.

She's still energetic so while Tachibana sleeps she plays with Tori narrating her days events. Tori occasionally mimics some of the words she uses.

They both fall asleep on the floor. In the morning Tachibana stops and stares for a moment when he walks into the room.

He feels a light pull towards Yuno as the world fades away his body involuntarily leaning forward. He takes a brush step forward snapping out of the trance feeling a rush of cold air against his back.

He stares at Yuno one last time before he goes to work and comes back to find them sleeping on the floor again.

Today he managed to get actual work done and attended all the dreaded meetings he wishes were not necessary.

Tori is the first to wake up and goes outside with Snow.

Tachibana hasn't noticed that the door was frozen and broken down, more like shattered.

He picks Yuno up and tucks her in lowkey longing for the sudden pulling feeling he felt before.

He starts looking for Tori and finds the door open, "Seriously?"

He goes outside and stops to ask an elderly woman if she didn't see a baby walking with a snow wolf, wearing a red onesie with cars on it.

"Little Hitori? He's at my place he just arrived a moment ago."

Tachibana finds Tori at the orphanage with the other children.

Yuno mentioned it to Ken that when they are both busy and she doesn't want to burden Sensen and Ackerman this is where Hitori spends his day.

"Thanks again, you don't mind if I come back later for him do you?"

"Not at all."

Tachibana finds Yuno frying chicken with Kai and Rex holding ice packs.

They got in another fight and Yuno has run out of speeches to preach.

"You two with me." Tachibana glares at the boys they already know what's coming and this is the part they dread.

Last time they got in a fight the school called Tachibana instead of Yuno on Kai's behalf and he didn't lecture them like Yuno always does. He nearly burnt them to a crisp. Yuno was a little stressed out at the time and the thought of her getting more stressed out angered him.

Rex and Kai saw a bit of a purple aura project from Ken towards them, it moved slow and for a moment they thought they imagined it until the purple aura came in contact with their bodies, knocking the wind out of them. 

"Look, it was self-defence we didn't start the fight we just happened to get there and shots were fired." Rex tries to explain scratching the back of his neck.

"I know, we just need to have a talk. Man to Man." Tachibana points to the open chairs and sits in a chair in front of them.

"You two have a lot in common and the most common factor is that you both have your sisters taking care of you. They sacrificed a lot for you, you can't ignore that. You need to understand where you're coming from to have a clear picture of where you are going."

Tachibana gives them a minute to think about it before he continues, "I expect both of you to be seeing yourselves as the ones taking care of your sisters in the next few years.

"Giving them a chance to remember what it's like to have someone else sacrifice for them. Rex your sister had a full scholarship to college to be a teacher and she dropped it to stay with you.

"Yuno well, she had better luck as a stripper because at the time she didn't take school seriously. I bet you doubted she had any braincells in there, huh Kai."

Kai snorts and turns to see if Yuno is listening, "Yeah, she never took anything seriously, or had a filter for that mouth of hers."

Tachibana chuckles he knows that very well, "All I'm saying is you can't get bated into senseless fights and you need to be more careful if anything were to happen to you, how would that affect your sisters?

"You need to always have your family in mind, at all times, so let's talk about where we're going from here."

"I don't think I understand what you mean."

"He lost me the moment he opened his mouth in the first place." Rex comments taking deep breaths in and out.

Ken gets annoyed and the purple aura hits them again, "I'm asking what your plans for the future are? You have too much pent-up energy and too much free time on your hands so we're going to work around that."

"I want to be a professional extreme soccer player, but with these new laws and restrictions they decided to keep the sport basic and boring, I hate it." Rex huffs in disappointment and Tachibana turns to Kai.

"I want to be an inventor and help people with my work."

"How the hell will you reach your goals with the reputation you're building for yourselves? You," Tachibana points to Rex, "If everyone knows you as the loose canon, what team will want you on their team when they know that you easily get bated into a fight?

"I mean think about it, if you accidentally hurt someone on the field, what makes you so sure everyone will believe it's an accident? The little things you do now will affect you in future remember that."

He turns to Kai and sigh, "How many inventions have you made in the last month?"

Kai puts up 5 fingers before taking off the shoelace on his left shoe, "This shoe lace can stretch and become as solid as rock, but the important part isn't the lace it's how I made it.

"Combining a whole bunch of these formed a new type of bullet proof vest that has shock absorption too."

Tachibana's eyes widen, he did not expect that at all and is more curious in seeing how it works and see it for himself.

"That's something big companies would want to invest into, why are you just sitting on all your ideas and talent? You boys need to start taking things more seriously."

Tori walks in behind the puppy that was leading the way to and from the orphanage.

Tori takes his small chair and sits next to Tachibana who continues talking to the boys while Yuno gets someone to come and fix the door.

"Are you guys done? Foods getting cold."

Tachibana nods putting back his chair. Tori and his furry friend already ate.

Everyone else eats in silence while Yuno is on a phone call yelling at Setsuno about clubbing, sure she enjoyed it, but she does not want to do that ever again.

Kai and Rex leave after their meal and go to the Palace leaving Yuno to clean up the place.

"I don't know what you guys were talking about, but couldn't you at least tell them to clean up the place before they die on me or whatever."

"You need to rest, come on I'll bathe Tori while you relax and actually enjoy your break even I had a 3 months' vacation away from all the work and drama."

"I'll find out one way or another what you're hiding from me."

"Yuno we're not having this conversation again, please don't get involved in whatever it is. I'm staying out of it for you and Hitori's sake, you'll only invite trouble if you keep going like this.

"Snooping where you shouldn't and stealing from people you'll get yourself in a lot of trouble."

Yuno purses her lips taking note of Tachibana's accusing tone, "So you know."

He nods smirking watching her try to come up with a valid excuse for breaking into his house.

"Why don't you sound mad? you should be angry we trashed it pretty hard."

"We?" Tachibana leans in staring her deep in the eyes searching her soul for the name of her partner in crime.

Yuno kisses him and turns around attempting to dodge the inevitable interrogation, "It was Ackerman wasn't it?"

"Why would you just up and accuse him of all people?"

"You have a very cute tell when you lie. Your eyes get teary eyed and I know it's Ackerman because he's the one that told me about the two of you breaking into my house."

Yuno huffs and crosses her arms. Ackerman is getting an earful when she sees him again, "It was my idea don't blame him for it."

Ken shakes his head and notices the wolf watching him and Yuno. He still doesn't get what Kim was talking about he understands it, but he just doesn't get it.

"Ken? Is something the matter? You're doing that thing where you're about to act impulsively."

"Maybe."

"You said you were gonna watch Hentai with me."

He snaps out of his head and stares at Yuno who's walking away in a fit of giggles, "You enjoy making fun of me don't you?"

"I live for it." She walks past Tori in front of the fridge.

"Mommy."

She turns and Tori points at the fridge she gives him a confused look and opens it to see Tori reaching for the yoghurt, "Are you sure? I'd say no, but you cleaned your plate and I guess dessert could be your reward."

"Not happening." Tachibana closes the fridge and Tori's face scrunches up before he runs into Yuno's arms and points an accusing finger at Tachibana, "Still not happening, everyone is going to bed."

"I just woke up."

"I can put you in a coma if you want, but you're all going to sleep and no yoghurt or anything cold for you until Kim has clarified what the hell is going on with you."

Tori screams at Tachibana and he chuckles instead of getting mad. It feels like forever ago since Tori screamed at him to get his dissatisfaction across. It puts a smile on his face, "Fine, only for today."

Tori smiles and walks away in victory while Tachibana groans for giving in. He turns to find Yuno with a cheeky grin on her face, "What?"

"Nothing, get some sleep before I question you about what you were talking about a while ago." Yuno replies her eyes looking Ken up and down.

"I'll explain once I know what's going on, get some rest so your sleep cycle is not blown out of proportion."

"That won't happen after just a single night out Ken, relax I'll sleep a little later."

"Alright, goodnight."

"Sweet dreams." Tori comments waving at Tachibana who waves back,.

Tomorrow is another day of dreaded work trips to and fro Japan, "I'll be gone for a while I'm not sure when I'll be back, call me if you need anything, okay."

"I will, sweet dreams."

"Sweet dreams." Tori says jumping up and down.

"It's past his bed time." Ken points an accusing finger at Tori who stops jumping looking confused.

"It's school holidays, he's allowed to stay up all night."

"Whatever."
