Chapter 62

Shortly after the may and Suzu fainted a shadow appears, The shadow lifts something out of his pocket. He takes out of the bag two gold glowing small balls. He puts them in Suzu's and Mai's mouths and then disappears again.

Mai and Suzu wake up shortly after the shadow disappears.

"What happened...my head hurts." Suzu says in a very weak voice.

Another window appears, Suzu and Mai both get scared, Suzu and Mai look at the window...But there is nothing in the window.

"what is the meaning of this?" Mai asks Suzu.

Mai looks over at Suzu, Suzu start at the window as if he was hypnotized.

"Hello...Suzu, What's going on Why are you starting the window." Mai pleads with Suzu and nudges him.

Suzu doesn't respond, Mai nudges him again. Suzu does not respond to Mai again. Mai overlaps Kurtz and then hits Suzu lightly on the head.

Everything Mai tries does not work

Mai sits down next to Suzu and thinks about what she can do, it doesn't take long before she thinks of something. [She shocks Suzu but Suzu shows no reaction.

Mai gives up, lies down on the floor and closes her eyes. When Mai opens her eyes again, she finds herself in a white room.

Mai looks around but she can't see anything but the color white. Without thinking much about it, she starts to run.

Where to? She has no idea, she doesn't even know if she is moving.

It could be ten minutes, but it could also be four days. She sees a black dot in the distance, slowly growing larger and larger.

"Hello." Mai says in a somewhat loud voice. The room is empty, but there is no echo.

Mai keeps walking towards the black dot, but after a while the dot stops getting bigger. Another window appears in front of Mai.

[In 20 seconds the simulation ends, would you like to take something with you].

How can I take something with me? There is nothing here. At the same moment, two more windows appear in front of Mai.

In one window there is a picture of a spear and in the other there is a yellow glowing orb. under the orb there is something written but Mai can't read it, as soon as she looks at the writing it blurs and she can't read it anymore.

[10 seconds left] mai suddenly hears a voice in her head.

[5...4...3...2...1...] Mai is teleported back next to Suzu.

But just before Mai was teleported back, she pressed the Yellow Orb.

Mai opens her eyes and sees Suzu doing some stretching exercises.

"What are you doing?" Mai asks in a startled voice.

Suzu turns around and looks at Mai. "You finally woke up."

"mai it's nice that you woke up but what is that in your hands?" Mai looks down at her hands and sees the yellow orb she pressed just before she was teleported.

"I have no idea," Mai says in a surprised voice.

She then explains to Suzu where she has been and that she had to choose between two items and pressed on that yellow orb.

"I was also in a white room like that." Suzu says excitedly.

"But I couldn't choose any items." Then Suzu picks up the yellow orb and is startled.
