CHAPTER 47: THE QUEEN IS THE TEACHER
The spirit started to tremble and her calm face was replaced by a face full of fear.
She said, " so you are the decendent of that monster!!"
I replied back, " I am not exactly a decendent of his but whatever"
" Its no surprise you even looked down on the king of a kingdom." she said.
" Why do you say so my lady? " asked Lindir.
"His decendents were responsible for the execution of nearly all the inhabitants of the continent millions of years ago. The world tree helped them in that journey. All I know that it was necessary to do that at that time. They are people who never reveal their real name to others and if they do then there must be a calamity coming for you." she explained.
" So how much time do we have until the calamity arrives?" asked the Queen.
" Nowhere in the near future." I answered honestly.
" But it still will come." she asked.
" Yes!!" I said dejectedly.
" Should we worry about it or not" she asked.
"I will tell you when it is time to be ready for it and I'll also help you all to get ready for it. Anyways currently you should worry for your child, the third princess." I stated.
"Why she looks normal to me?" asked the Queen.
"Isn't Sylphie safe, is there any side effect of the broken core, is there anything we need to take care of? " asked Lindir.
"You sure are a dotting father" I said chuckling.
" The princess was saved but the price was that her body changed a lot she has gained the abilities of other races and has also gained some of their traits like their urges. Though she is the best possible elf in your kingdom but if she doesn't control her urges she will again go on a rampage." I explained.
"So what is the process of training her for the control ?" asked the queen.
" Thats se something I will only say to her parents not the king and queen and the court of ministers." I said.
" Understandable ,you are dismissed for now meet us later." ordered the king.
" Yes sir" I replied and left the throne room with my family.
We were summoned to the dining hall at noon.
I went there with mother and father, the royal family was sitting on the other side of the table.
" So what is needed to be done for to control her urges ?" asked the second daughter of the king, Cassandra
" Preety easy she will remain with me for the time being until she can control herself." I said.
" Why?" asked Lindir.
" She will have urges to drink blood and eat flesh either that is provided to her or she will get paler and paler until she dies. But as I was her creator and ancestor in that way so of she drinks my blood she won't go on a rampage and she needs fresh blood everytime. Though I don't doubt you could provide her with blood but she will drink the whole blood in the body from which she drinks so only I currently am able to satisfy her thrist. Another reason is that if she is near me and goes out of control then I can subdue her easily as I am stronger than her." I answered.
" Is there no other way? " asked Lindir.
" There is but I don't think that she will like it and neither will you and me" I answered.
" Then its decided that you will stay here and help in her training this way we will be assured for her safety." said the queen.
" Well I don't mind but you see I was on my way to learn many new magic and make many projects but I can't do it here." I said hesitatingly.
" Oh I see so you are now telling you will not take the responsibility for what you have done to her?" questioned Luthein.
" No its just that I want to learn these things as fast as possible but ...." I was saying but was interrupted in the middle.
" Who said you cannot experiment here and not learn magic here. You will be allowed to experiment here and also will be provided with the fund for it. You will also be taught about magic and how to form a mana core by me." She said.
" Umm.. but I have already formed a core." I said awkwardly.
" I see ..... eh what did you say? " she asked confirming what she heard.
" I said that I have already formed the core. That was the reason I wanted to go to the capital and learn water magic. " I replied.
" Oh I see you are a prodigy. Even among us elves the minimum age of making a core is 5 and Sylphie here formed her core a the age of three you both will then attend my classes from now till you learn to use magic effectively." she said.
" Thank you Madam Luthein" I said.
" Theres no need for it. Its my honor to teach two prodigies." she replied.
