Why does the heroine have to marry the villain? It started just as a game, but now it's her new reality! Pandemic Year 5. Chiaki Spring is just freshly dumped from her years-long relationship. Humankind sees no future, and her working condition is miserable. She’s determined to start life anew by joining a metaverse called the Dome. Chiaki transmigrates into a strong and promiscuous heroine based on the action-adventure game she’s obsessed with. Unfortunately, System forces her to marry the villain character of the original game. Does Lance Hua put his heart into this marriage or view her as merely a tool for power? What big secret lurks underneath this scheming System? ================ Excerpt ================ "I'm not a sophisticated cook; my home cooking is so-so." "I can cook just fine." "Please split the house chores. With my guardianship duty, it's impossible for me to do the housekeeping alone." "Do you think I can't pay for cleaners?" Chiaki looked up from beneath her long lashes. "And lastly, um, don't force me in bed without my consent." The Evil Lord of the Northern region leaned closer, lowering his head until his dark irises turned blurred in her vision. "Do I even look like I want to sleep with you?" ======= This novel shares the same universe as my other novel, Taking Back This Battered World (TBTBW). Can’t Wait to Meet Lance in Prison

"Block me?" Azure Ao asked back in his flat tone, his polite smile still flaring on his face. To other people, he looked playful and jovial.

To the other three Guardians, they knew the meaning of this smile was war.

"General Ao works under the Council. If the Council asks you to drown yourself in the ocean, you will not climb the mountain, instead, will you?" A nameless elder, because the face was so ordinary, Chiaki wouldn't bother to match it with a name, spoke up.

Practising the Path of Indifference in this working environment was a challenge in itself, Chiaki thought. Nevertheless, she must endure. She almost lost control several times a week regarding Lance Hua and the Council. Hearing how they trampled on Azure Ao's power irritated her even more.

She straightened her back and talked in her imposing voice, the tone she used to speak to her disobedient subordinates, and Gin, if the lad made a scene when he was younger.
