Portia tapped her foot twice, on the leaf covered ground then rock, leaves, wood and other materials began floating and assembling into a house which she walked into, then just lay on the moss and cloth covered bed and began crying as Griffin climbed on top of her, then rolled into a tight ball, whimpering as if it understood her emotions, Portia just didn't know what to do.
Just then, she felt a warmth, a comforting feeling which washed away all her sorrows in an instant, like someone she loved was with her.
She looked at Griffin as its body was covered in ghastly white, vapour like flames which burned through her own body, healing her to the core.
She smiled then ran her fingers through the mohawk like row of feathers between its fox like ears and white sparks crackled out.
She then removed her hand, as she had settled on a decision, but it began to peck on her finger for her to continue, then she heard a whisper,"It's only for the best Portia."
"I know."She said.

Aeric was angry, not only at his uncle, but also his aunt, for starting this whole thing.
"Now Portia's gone! Did you ever consider the consequences of your actions?!"He yelled.
The two remained silent and he got furious at their indifference then said,"I'm not coming back here without her."
"You don't need to worry Aeric."Portia said.
He looked back and saw her, dressed in her red night gown, looking like the angel she was.
He was stunned for a moment, then asked,"I'm so sorry for everything, are you okay?"
She nodded and kissed his forehead gently then said,"Thanks for caring, but may I please be alone, with your uncle and aunt?"
He was still a little bit stupefied by the kiss but snapped back into reality then nodded, bowed, then left.
Uncle Cloud looked very worried, resentful and guilty seeing her.
She walked closer as his wife began,"We're so sorry for..."
"No I'm sorry, I tend to overreact and jump to conclusions, you two just wanted the best for me."Portia said.
"But what we did was wrong and there are no excuses."Uncle Cloud said.
"I guess we all made mistakes, could we just hug it out, forget it ever happened and promise to be better?"She asked.
"Of course."They both said.
They enveloped her into their warm and loving embrace and she felt that same feeling wash over her again, maybe Griffin could do it from afar, or maybe that moment was just that special to her.
Of course she went to speak with Kofi at school the next day.
"Nah it's okay, I'm actually quite relieved."He said, nonchalantly.
"What?"She asked.
"Yeah, I was in that relationship just for the sensations of pleasure I felt, not true love, now I can begin searching for someone who really makes me happy or for something that does."
"Oh then... I'm proud of you."She said.
"Thanks."
She wasn't sure the gem got rid of the reflection till he said,"Now get out of here, I'm still mad at you."
Okay, it's him.

There was a zooming sound as several women on flying brooms flew across a compound at great speeds.
A pretty girl with violet coloured eyes and a white mark on her left hand of a whirlpool like flower slowly walked with a hood over her face, while a girl in glasses and braces chatted nonstop to her.
The two got to a small crowd when a handsome guy with black, spiky hair asked,"Emilia, why are you hanging out with a loser like Corma?"
The girl in the glasses frowned then asked,"Don't you have a little brother to kick your butt at Spell practice Zach?"
Everyone began laughing at the guy as Emilia walked away with her quiet friend.
They sat down together on a bench then Corma asked,"Emilia, why would someone like you like to hang out with someone like me?"
"Someone like me in what sense?"Emilia asked.
"You know, noble lineage, fluent Spell Speaking, great talent in Potion making and..."
"Shhh Corma, now you're talking too much, I'm just like everyone else, including you, just because I was lucky enough to be born in my family and trained in magic since I was three doesn't make me better than anyone else, keep that in mind."
Corma sighed, then nodded.
"Halu y redunas."The professor said.
The quill and parchment both burst into blue flames, then the professor said,"The incantation is on each of your Spell books, say it exactly as I did."
Everyone had the confidence to do it right after the great Emilia Tean perfectly practiced it.
Corma looked at the words, then tilted her head, what if?
There was a massive explosion from Corma's table as a tornado of white flames burned through her books and covered everyone around her in soot.
The professor prayed for the strength to withstand that girl's risky foolishness then asked,"I told you to say exactly what I said, why did you change the last word?!"
"I'm sorry Master Winters, but I just wondered, why is it that two similar sounding spells do totally different things while two entirely different sounding ones do the exact same thing?"She asked.
"Oh, it's too bad we can't find a spell to improve your grades."He said back.
Everyone began to snicker but that seemed to get to Emilia, who stood up when Professor Winters had turned his back on all of them, then said,"Gurandelis, necroia mashida, frocurlidurn..."
The ground began shaking, then out burst several thicket vines, which grew into the room, blocking the doors and giving everyone a bad day, including the two girls.
At the Principal's office, Emilia sat comfortably, then looked at Corma, who was quieter than usual, then asked her to relax.
"Relax?! You can relax because your father's in the board of directors and your grandfather is one of the most powerful warlocks of the century, my family barely has any magic to spare and it's only by scraping noble's leftovers that they got enough money to give me one semester in this school and even then, no matter how much I try to lay low, you get both of us in trouble, I don't know if it's that you don't care or that you're just to stupid to get it but I need every chance I could get."
Emilia seemed hurt as she was called into the office and Corma wanted to take back every word she said but, she couldn't, she wouldn't, she just needed some time away from, the only person who was ever friends with her.
When it was Corma's turn, she saw Emilia walk away with tears in her eyes and couldn't tell if it was because of what she said or what the principal said, but slowly waked in.
Corma sat opposite the old woman who had her hair tied in a tight bun with her wand holding it together.
Corma didn't know why, but she had never needed a wand or potion to create powerful spells, and even when she used them, they made the spell so powerful they exploded and she couldn't tell if it was that she said it wrong or every single one of the twelve wands she had used that semester were defective.
The principal called her name and she snapped back into reality as she said,"If you don't want to be expelled at this moment, I'd advice you to bring your parents as soon as possible."
Corma nodded several times then stood up but the principal stopped her and said,"I know you just want to make your family proud but, this isn't the way, just, do what you must, not what you want, please."
Corma pursed her lips, then sped out.
