Mission... Waku-Waku

[Konoha, 8:24 A.M.]

After doing morning training and bathing in sweat instead of water, Yukan stood in front of Sakumo.

"Sensei, I will first visit Minato and then continue the training," Yukan drenched in sweat said.

"Go. I also need to go to the Hokage's office. You may get your first mission." Sakumo said.

Yukan was happy to finally get a mission and see what he can do after a month's training under Sakumo.

Sakumo, being a master in reading faces, thought,' This is going to be tough *sigh*.'

-At the Hospital-

"Here, consume this tablet once after eating your lunch and this one after dinner. If your condition stays alright, we will discharge you by the day after tomorrow." A woman wearing nurse clothes said to Minato in the bed.

"Thank you, nurse," Minato said.

The nurse soon left the room. The sunny smile on Minato's face disappeared.

A knock came on the door and the door was opened.

Minato had a bright smile on his face again.

Yukan entered the room and saw Minato with a smile.

"Don't do that smile in front of me, just keep your face normal," Yukan said with a disgusted expression while looking at Minato.

The smile on Minato's face once again disappeared.

Minato's sunny smile was something he did intentionally. He did not have any ulterior motives, having this kind of bright and cheery smile would always make him look trustworthy, giving him a preference for many things.

"Why are you here?" Minato asked

"Just came to visit my partner. Anyways, I may go on a mission soon hehe. You may enjoy the bedrest till then." Yukan said.

"Whatever… Hey, I almost forgot, there have been many cases of food poisoning and many people are admitted every day. Be careful about what you eat. I feel something is weird." Minato warned Yukan.

Yukan simply nodded, patted Minato's head, got up and left the room.

-At the same time, in the Hokage's office-

"....and so, Sakumo, you and your team will go for Team 1's rescue. I know this is your team's first mission and this will be B-rank, but since it is wartime and YOU are the leader of the team, I am allowing it." Hiruzen said. He had a serious expression on his face.

Hiruzen had sent Team 1 to investigate the cause of increasing food poisoning cases but instead of getting any result, what he got was an S.O.S from the Samba Shibo saying that he was seriously injured.

Hiruzen also took this opportunity to give Yukan his first mission, even if it will be tough.

"Yes, Lord Hokage. I and Yukan will leave within an hour." Sakumo left immediately after saying that.

-A few minutes later, at the training grounds-

"Yes, Sensei, you called?" Yukan rushed over immediately after getting a message from Sakumo.

"We are going on a mission. Long story short, B-rank mission, rescue team 1, there may be a lot of ninjas, we leave in exactly 37 minutes, you will make your first kill on the mission." Sakumo gave Yukan the deatils in very short.

Yukan, after listening, turned around and left to pack some essential supplies.

Exactly 36 minutes later, Yukan reached Konoha's main entry gate.

Sakumo was already standing there, waiting for Yukan.

"You are right on time, lets's leave now."

Sakumo and Yukan rushed out of the gate and were headed towards North.

While running, Sakumo started to speak," Yukan, we will reach the location in 18 minutes maximum. I will not help you during the mission, you are responsible for yourself." Sakumo had a serious expression on his face.

Yukan saw his expression and wasn't sure if his own Sensei would help him if he was dying.

"Yes, Sensei," Yukan said anyhow.

As they were getting closer to the location, Yukan felt that the number of people around them kept on increasing.

"Sensei, I feel as if someone is wat-" Yukan was speaking but stopped after seeing Sakumo raise his hand, gesturing Yukan to stop speaking.

Sakumo had sensed all the ninjas before Yukan. Yukan's magic sense skill was still not high enough to sense jonin.

Sakumo could tell, there were 4 jonin, 14 chunin and 8 genin.

'Looks like their team killed quite a lot of genins.' Sakumo said in his mind.

Sakumo suddenly stopped and instructed Yukan on how they both will take out the 26 foreign ninjas.

"All the genin are your responsibility. I will handle the chunin and jonin. Don't make me come and help you, I'll be pretty annoyed." Sakumo said as he disappeared.

Yukan wondered where he went but suddenly heard a shout from the deep forest.

He understood, this means that Sakumo has made the first kill and the fight has started.

"Since Sensei has promised he won't let jonin and chunin come here, I'll also start fighting," Yukan said as he also disappeared from his place.

In the previous month, Benimaru's template reached 18% and now, Yukan is a lot stronger than him last month.

It was not only the system but also his own body's physical development due to his regular exercise with Sakumo.

By now, Yukan has also engaged in combat.

Although fighting 8 ninjas at the same wasn't easy, it wasn't impossible either.

After analysing which of the 8's attacks would reach him first, Yukan took action.

With his fast speed, he blocked the opponent's dagger using a kunai and punched him in the face using his knuckles.

Even if the genin was defeated easily, there were still 7 left.
