Chapter 9: Hospitalised Stay

When she put the hat on and sat on the chair, Mythra giggled," It suits your clothes."

Then he saw the clothing that Emilia was wearing, navy, water tracksuits, surprised since she was not the type to wear them.

'Maybe she was exercising.'

Eader thought, while taking pictures, then he saw all the other girls were in tracksuits (also taking pictures), all blue but different, one had a shining gleam, the other one was normal blue.

Then the blonde girl said," ok now I want to talk about our agreement."

Eader was startled by the request," ok, what do you want?"

Mythra stated," it's a benefit for you," Eader gave a puzzled look.

"I want you to say that the whole thing was a test," she said, in an ordering and powerful voice.

Before Eader could reply, Mythra added," you will be accepted to a prestigious school, called Sawarts school for swordsmen and women," when she said that, she was glistening with pride.

Eader thoughts about it, which confused Mythra.

'Should I accept? It looks like they specialise in swords, which I do not have- leading to a higher chance of my cover blown. Wait, aren't swordsmen for both genders, because I never heard of a swordswoman.'

Eader picked the rational decision," I decline," but with that, all the girls stared at him.

"So… you are turning down the best school in the state, if not the whole country," she squeaked.

Eader bluntly replied," yes," Mythra gave a mad look, she did not want to get in trouble for "gang banging" a person.

"Of course, I could not join that school since I am a pretty commoner," he stammered, hoping it would persuade her.

Mythra nodded in agreement, Emilia looked at him still and Evalynn was confused. "But, I need you to join," sighing, as this was a problem. Then she took out the secret weapon. There was a piece of paper, with the hospital and a large sum of money.

"These are the hospital bills."

Eader practically cried, he completely forgot about them but he was positive for a large scratch. It should not be a lot. Then he looked at the money he needed.

"1000 jewels." For clarification, that's around 100,000 dollars.

So you can guess how much it is, it's a lot for him. "Why, though this is just a scratch," he said in a nervous voice.

"Wrong, it's for four people and the fact that you are at the best hospital in the state makes sense."

Eader had no pride, he did not have a sword, he took anything. So if somebody shows 100,000,000 dollars and say you have to pay for it, you would beg. That is what Eader did. "Please help, how can I stop paying the money!" He bailed so desperately, it was sad to see.

She waved her arms down and he stopped talking, but his breathing was heavy and irregular. She looked at him, then Evalynn placed her hand on his shoulder, giving a strong look. Mythra looks surprised and then moves closer to Eader.

"We know what position you are in, and we know that it might be scary to go in another school, but," she took a pause so he would look at him, " we will be there for you." She looked at him with a glistening smile. Eader looked at her," are you serious? Do you think I am a little kid?"

She nodded her head and said," its easier because of your height." She smiled and that set him off. "Huh," he growled like a dog. She chuckled a bit, and then the girls looked at each other, giving a sinister smile.

Mythra sighed," the school will pay for the bill if you accept," she ragingly said, but keeping her cool.

Eader looked dumbfounded. "So, are you gonna accept?" She asked the question again.

Eader thought about his mum, and that he had to save her. He smiled," count me in!" She sighed, giving a smile. The reaction that she gave was surprising for both Evalynn and Emilia.

"Also I forgot to ask for your names," he said, rubbing the back of his head.

Shocking Evalynn," My name is Evalynn, and this girl is Mythra," smiling.

"My name is Eader, a pleasure to meet you," he said in a calm monotone voice.

She giggled a bit then the detective came in, all handsome looking. They all stared at him. "Anyhow, did they tell you the news?" he asked Eader, still thinking what they were doing.

Eader nodded his head. "Good they will send you all the goods to your house, we will meet each other in 2 weeks, now let's go, girls, bye," he waved his hand, excited to ask the girls.

After the detective left and the girls, Eader grabbed his phone and looked at his contacts.

'Since when was the old man saved here?'

Then he chuckled.

'He must have done it beforehand, what a sneaky guy.'

Not realising he asked him in the first place Then he changed his password, even though that's not the reason.

'1234 was not the best choice.'

Still not realising that many people accessed his phone because of the bad pin. Sighing, thinking about what to come up with.

Then he called him, and he answered. "Tell me where I should come," he said hastily.

" Haha, changed your mind? " cheering like Santa Claus.

'What is the deal with this guy?'

He smiled," fine, but just text me, ok. "

"Oh yes, I suggest you cut your hair. "

Puzzled, Eader made a mental note. "Bring the sword, too, also I want you not to use your other sword."

'Not like I have any other one.'

He understood what to do," OK, bye."

"Have a good day lad," ending the call cheerfully.

Before he could think what to do next, the nurse came in, not showing her full face. He saw her uniform, a tranquil aqua colour, which had golden buttons, but she wore no hat. I thought nurses always wore hats, probably not in this specific hospital

"How long do I have to stay here?" he asked, being responsible.

"Um, one week, an extra if the wound opens," she stated calming down.

"OK so we are gonna see each other every day for a week, maybe two. So we should know each others names. Mines Eader."

She nodded yet again, making her blue uniform move.

"What's your name?" he commanded.

"It is Nancy," she spoke with curiosity, like a person who works with elderly a lot to get there trust quickly and efficiently.

He stood up, they were the same height, "then let's make it a good time, Nancy," he said.

She nodded," lets do that, if you need any help, please tell me," she added a smile after.

"Now, what reason have you come here?"

"because I was gonna ask, what dinner would you like?"

"What are the options?"

It kind of worked," um, they are macaroni cheese or cottage pie," she said like a servant.

"I will choose macaroni cheese, thank you," he replied, creeped out by how she said it

'Wait, I should use this as an advantage.'

"Nancy, do I have permission to leave the hospital?" he said, triumphantly.

She was standing next to the door," Not at this moment."

Crap, no I presumed this.

Then he asked a second question," what do I do to call you Nancy?"

She replied," Um, you press this button, and I will come straight away, if not I am with the other patients I take care of."

Eader smiled, happy she was answering his questions," How many people do you take care of?"

"Um, I would say eight including you."

"Thank you, Nancy, you were a great help," giving a pleasant and warming smile. She left sighing, but she also saw an opportunity.
