Chapter 55: Infiltration at Fake Heaven

The guy followed the cry and found a black man underneath the detective hat who was either pinning him down or just tripped over him.

He deduced that the first option was right. He moved in with his sword open, trying to look intimidating.

They stared at him and the person getting started, gulped loudly," fine, you win, now, can you get off me, please," the plea was a higher pitch.

The detective looked at the person behind him and then he stood up. He tried to make a run for it but got a black scar on his leg. It hurt him so much that he started cuddling up and rolling around.

They were under a lamppost and the guy realised that the detective dropped his sword, or that's what he thought.

They moved closer to him, made him stand, which hurt and said,'' it would not have been like this, if you listened to us, huh," the guy almost cried, the guy behind also covered his eyes as he wore a reflective vest, which was not nice.

The arm was clambered behind his back by the detective. It hurt but not as much as standing, he was keeping it all in to stop crying, then he broke down," what did you do with him?!'' He screamed it louder. The guys looked at each other."

Which guy?" said the guy still with his sword, still in hand. The guy replied more calmly," the blue-haired Asian prick," he laughed when saying a prick, like a funny joke just between the two.

The detective said, like a dog trying to speak," why should you know?"

It made the guy nervous, as maybe they did take him down, he replied, surprisingly, calmly again," because, he is my friend.'' He hoped they would find sympathy in him and they did.

The detective sighed in defeat," we do not have a guy like that in custody," he looked ragged and the guy replied," promise," wondering if he would say something back.

He did," promise," which pleased me. "Take me away," he said contentedly, this surprised both of them as they have seen a strong bond like that before with criminals, it made them smile.

But, that was not the case. It was a dark evening, turning into a deadly night. It was only lit up by the lamps and the police lights. It would make it the perfect timing to sneak attack somebody.

The detective, however, deduced that they left as it would be too risky. But what made him think was the black cloak. He was interrupted by a daft stone. He was about to curse but he used the guy as a stand. That annoyed the guy, he replied," sorry," in a funny manner.

The wind blew and a single cloud was seen in the sky, which was miraculous as it was a dark lifeless night, harder to see than fog on a Monday morning. They went around the place as the detective did not want to have to give the captured criminal a chance to escape.

Also, he did not want to go up the stairs. It was a not too tight gap, but you still had to squidge yourself a bit. However, it did not stop the guy from locking his arms painfully, just to remind what would happen if he escaped.

When they made it, the guy gave up the captured man to a police officer. He started laughing and turned around to laugh with his friend, or to get him into it.

"Hmm, strange," he turns to the people in front.

"Wasn't there somebody behind me?"

He got confused looks, as if he has seen an angel.
