Chapter 26: A Fight Confirmed

Eader was was back at his tear three training with Gramps, he even added a special something, which he did not like.

All Eader could think about was that his friend Samuel was getting dunked because of some mistake he made.

He moved down the garden, hoping to find a place to hide and think. Gramps had just chucked him in and said go, right after his warm up as he swore at Gramps and almost had Bodyguards pile on him.

The temptation was too great but he had with held doing that. Instead he just put stage three on.

Russlll.

Eader noticed a rustling. It was around the area where the sword were made, where the concret and moss mixed together to give an amazing overlay.

Wait, how did I here rustling from her?

His eyes caught something and a little girl had scampered around in the large plants.

Sunny?

Sunny just came because her dad had nobody to look after her, and her mum was out of town (country), so they brought her to Gramps's house, they did have butlers but they were having a spring cleaning.

But Sunny was still confused why Eader had to call Grandpa Gramps- he was not even related. Despite this, Sunny accepted it. She was helping Eader, actually, it surprised her that Gramps asked, even though she could not summon hers being still too young.

The girl ran with the purple sword, which started to stink. She smacked his butt once and it was funny, but let her guard down and got tripped.

Oh no.

Eader saw her, but then he got abused by baseballs and she ran.

Did he see me? Did he see me? What did Gramps tell me if he finds out? Did Grandpa even tell me?

Her eyes had lines go through her eyes. Then she gave a raged face. She almost tripped, then she concentrated again, hiding behind the hill. Eader was deflecting them very well.

The reason why she was doing this was because she would get something from Gramps, but only if she beat him. The last time they met was two weeks ago, they just gave their farewells and left. But he adjusted well with the situation, she was surprised and mad.

Eader ricocheted some balls, one even hit Sunny and another went into the pond. The reason why Gramps could always do this was because people cleaned up the whole area. These were the positive antics of being rich.

Eader rushed forward, he was getting sick of this. He moved slowly, he was cautious because of the balls lying around and seeing where Sunny was. He arrived at the concrete landing. There were many balls surrounding him, and all over the garden.

Gramps was stubborn to use artificial things since it would ruin his grass, even though baseballs were scattered everywhere in the garden.

Also Gramps bought all these balls just for this occasion, and he has no idea what to do after they are finished. Back to the level. Eader was thinking what his next move was.

I have to find where the direction is coming from.

Gramps would put the machine somewhere in the garden, and he made sure there were wheels on it, which made everything harder. He noticed where it was and started running, sword at front, hitting all the balls away. But Sunny was fairly sneaky and made him trip.

Oooof!

This made him roll down the mini hill. Sunny ran quickly with all her might, and hid. This made the baseballs stop and then they came from different directions. He stood up and changed tactics.

I have to take out Sunny, but how do I take a little girl down?

He knocked all of them back he still got hit but they were less and less touching his body. The tall boy was on his tiptoes, this made him move faster and his blood was moving faster making him hit the balls better.

Still, why baseballs?

He rushed forward, the whole area was open space, however there were many places to hide like pillars, which do not get knocked over by 40 kph baseballs. He utilised them and hid getting a breather. He tried to move but got startled when they hit the pillar.

Gosh, that scared me.

She used his stillness and surprised him.

What should I do?

Eader thought of plans he could do. One was to go ham, and run straight to the launcher. Two were to take out Sunny. Three is hidden. Four is forfeit.

While Eader was thinking, Sunny saw his face and went for the strike. The direction of the baseballs changed. Eader noticed. Used the flat side and smacked the girl's side, making her fall. "You are down, Sunny!" he screamed, happily. Then he realised something, he hit a little girl, and it was not the same as hitting someone his age.

Oh, crap.

She was on the floor, either unconscious, or pretending, but it made Gramps believe that.

He was in the open, he could have ducked back behind the pole, but he knew that something terrible would happen. He started deflecting but they were swifter and harder to hit, making him feel pain. Blood started trickling from his mouth.

Crap, I can't do this.

So he then hid behind the pillar, which was a mistake. The balls were going at 60 kph, and this was making the pillar tilt.

Eader noticed and then thought what would happen if it fell. He would lose. Eader then remembered this was about handling.

Why am I thinking about that now?

He then thought about something, to move the sword in your hands.

He spun the sword in his hand slowly with both hands.

He sighed, giving a humongous grin.

He then ran out there like an aimless idiot.

The sword moved like water, hitting them, and then the wave came brushing a few away. They kept on coming but Eader's sword moved calmly, not turning into a tsunami but enough to push a black strong male seal onto land, Gramps saw it from where he was, with the machine.

He stopped and that made Eader run fast wanting that the pain he felt when he got hit to leave, he ran and ran and ran, making tears come out.

Then he felt his lungs and liver heart, probably having a picture, but he thought about Samuel, his friend who stood up to him and ran, smacking the off button with the sword- before Gramps could react.

Eader was still bewildered, why was Sunny here. Then he thought with common sense.

Since she is from the Woodjin family that must mean that her parents are probably doing something.

With the partially right answer, Eader lay in the same bed like last time. He tried to stand up and was surprised he could.

I should look for Gramps… And Sunny.

He rocked his head with the thought. He went into the brown hallway and in a room was Sunny and Gramps. Gramps noticed him and waved his hand in his direction. Eader slowly entered the premises.

Gramps slapped him, not caring if Sunny heard. This made Eader go onto the floor on his knees and he gave a tear, for Sunny, but also the slap hurt, but he did not want to show it.

"Hitting a girl with a sword is not allowed, it's in the law, and you just smack a little girl who can't even summon hers, you might be put in prison or even much worse if her parents find out, you might die," he said it quietly but loud enough to add emphasis.

Eader stayed quiet. It was getting late and he was fairly tired. He stood up, making no creak. He walked out, but spoke," tell Pyra that she has to take care of her on that day, I will arrive later to school, so they will see me and you can see the fight," after that he walked away.

He went around the whole house, picking his things up. A person came up to him. He had black hair and weak flimsy arms, but his legs were muscular. He spoke in a monotone tone, "the master said don't come back here." Eader nodded, but was also confused at what Gramps said before hand.

How would he find out when he will find out?

Eader arrived home, a bit earlier than usual. He went upstairs, undressed, and tried to go into the shower, but failed. He lay unconscious on the floor.

Gramps went and tidied up the machine and he then noticed something.

Wait, was this in the lowest gear.
