Chapter 16: Before School

The detective walked into the meeting room. He wore a black suit and tie, with a white shirt, gelling his hair backwards. There were seven other people, but out of all of them, he looked the sexiest.

All the men sat down in a figurative manner, one of them spoke," well, detective, may I ask, why did you call us all here?"

All of them looked at him confused.

"Well, you see, I forgot to tell you, sir," rubbing the back of his head, looking down.

"Ok," he looked and answered in a confused and questioning voice.

"We need to team up and find the kidnappers, that is stealing the woman," he announced in a serious manner," in addition it has also been a kidnapping in your turf, too."

The man the detective was talking to was the head of the FBI, he was a famous person, of solving multiple cases, even the hardest of ones, so the detective respects him.

The head could not respond properly, so he gave a nod.

"This is not just a single person that we have here, it's multiple people, I know. Also, I know who they are looking for, my colleague found out they are looking for multiple people that have high durability, low magic from the sword."

Then one of them asked," how do we know that they are targeting that specific type?"

The rest agreed.

"We were wire taped as my friend suggested the theory, then an explosion happened to kill him," then he said in a more serious voice," And if you say coincidence, BS."

The person apologised, in a sorrowful tone.

"Ok, it helps us lower the numbers, but there are still many people this affects," he said calmly, hoping not to aggravate him.

"I agree, however, we captured one of their people, a newbie by the looks of it."

There was a T.V behind where the detective was sitting. He had the remote in his hand, and pressed a button.

An image of a young aged man, with blonde hair, and blue eyes. "This man is the one who was stalking a girl with the same quotas we have. Luckily, she noticed and went to the police; he was probably the one that stepped in for the other kidnapper."

The way he said the paragraph with shine and glory, they looked with gleeful impressions.

"Here."

He pressed the button, and the slide switched to a video.

The detective entered, giving a "hello," this made the person feel sorry for themselves.

"I heard from a lady that you were, apparently, stalking her," the voice he gave was a different pitched voice than normal. Two, closer men to the detective, stared at him, he saw them, giving an embarrassed face.

"Why were you stalking her?" He gave a serious look.

He looked to be 18 so he wanted to intimidate, so he slammed his hand down, which startled the poor fellow.

"Tell me, now."

The man was shaking, "um, well, I like those types of women," he gave a half smile, thinking he triumphed.

"I want you to tell me, why were you wearing a black cloak?"

"Because… It looked cool," the look the detective gave was a disappointed one.

"Do you think I am stupid?"

Abruptly, at the back of the room, "yes."

The men chuckled, as the detective watched him.

But what made them laugh was this, as the boy replied "yes, I mean no, maybe."

The whole room roared rambunctiously.

The detective sighed, with a god help me face.

It took the detective ten minutes, but he finally got the information before everyone fell asleep.

"So you wanted nobody to notice that it was somebody else, well the other person did a much better job than you," ruining his, already shattered, self-esteem.

Then he gave a ramble "I did not want to do this they said that I could get quick money and-."

"Just shut up about it," he was getting aggravated from going over the same things.

He gave a silenced face.

Then the detective got a great idea, "if you tell me everything you know, honestly, then you will reduce your sentence, is that a deal," he just looked away, not accepting.

"We won't give this info to the public, meaning the people won't chase after you to kill you for revenge," the last statement calmed him a bit.

"Fine, but nothing to the outside, ok," the detective gave a respectful nod.

"This is all I know."

The people-watching was staring intensely at the screen.

"They got me from a small place since I could make big cash, with a small job, they call themselves-"

---

"Silencer," Jimmy said mysteriously, Eader smacked him on the head.

"Stop doing weird stuff, and talk normally," he spoke grimacingly.

"Well, that's what it's called," he said, still on the chair.

"Why were you in my house? Wait… YOU GUYS KIDNAPPED MY MUM!" he exclaimed, with great rage.

"WHERE DID YOU PUT MY MUM!" he grabbed him, pulling him almost from his chair.

"Chill, look I don't know where they take the captives," said in a tranquil voice.

He got slapped, and he pushed him back on the chair.

Eader grabbed water and poured it in the kettle, "Do you want any tea?" he said, still agitated.

"Yes, please."

He grabbed two tea bags and cups.

"Why are you kidnapping people?"

He gave a serious face and worried.

"I will tell you all I know."

---

The cold detective looked at him.

"Silencer, that sounds odd."

Then someone asked a question, "does it mean anything?"

Looking at the detective, he paused the long video.

"Not that I know off, I did research, but they covered it magnificently, too impressive like they never existed," all thought for a reason but could not come up with anything.

"Put it back on," one ordered.

It played on, giving a little fickle.

"Why are they kidnapping people," standing in a bent position. His red glistening tie poured down like red metallic liquid. The man admired it but got snapped back to reality by him, snapping his fingers.

"Hey, answer the question, why are they kidnapping people?" he gave a silent but deadly stare.

"I heard from somebody that they were making a weird factory," he said awkwardly.

The disgusting minded men looked revolted, one perverse man imagined it, sobbing over the thought.

"What do you mean by a factory," he curiously said.

He replied quickly, "I don't know, the people that worked with me said it was a theory."

The detective looked away, thinking.

He grabbed a piece of paper and wrote it down.

"Ok, do you know anything, not anyone else?"

"No," nodding his head sideways.

Then he abruptly asked, "Do you know where the base is?"

This startled him and looked down.

"No, no I do not know,"

He probably does not know the leader.

But he still asked, "do you know who the leader is?"

"No, nobody knows, who he/she is."

---

Eader was sipping his tea slowly, ready to be in action and pour it on him, a raspberry scent filled the room.

"I heard about it, apparently the gang was lying low but now they got the leader back, but that's all I know," he said while sipping his green tea.

This is some great tea, taking another sip.

Eader let his arm go wild, however, his body and legs were still tied up so he could not move, and he was in the middle of the room. It was giving the poor lemon chair some strain.

Eader and he had a normal chat about life. But he did ask some occasional important questions. But he did not let his guard down, and Jimmy knew that.

Eader looked at the time, it was 8 o'clock.

God, look at the time, what do I do now?

"Do you know where the boss might be?"

He asked, ruining the peaceful atmosphere.

"I do not know, I am one of the weaker lackeys, so I don't know this info," Eader nodded in acceptance.

"I will let you go if you promise you will stop this snooping," this shocked him.

"Are you sure? I mean, I am par-"

"I don't care, you said you have a family, take care of them."

He gave a pleasant smile, stood up, and untied his bindings.

"But if I find you snooping in my house again, I will kill you," he said with an unpleasant smile.

"Ok, I promise," he shakingly said.

He stood up from the chair and looked at him, "thanks for the tea, goodbye," he spoke while walking, out of the house, closing the door, calmly.

---

The detective walked out "ok, thanks, take him away." The men watching finally realised that there was a guard, a huge guard with a blue uniform.

He paused it," Just saying I did not watch this beforehand, because I thought we would get more info together, so what did you think?"

Then one of the people close to the detective noticed something, "Hey, the kids smiling sinisterly," that all looked and saw him- giving shocked faces.

What?

He carried on the tape. He spoke, "Hey I did everything you asked, I said everything right, nothing was wrong," he stood up walking to the guard, "now where is the ca-"

The bulky guard stabbed him, flabbergasting everyone in the room. The kid fell onto the floor like a rag doll.

Then the only living thing in the room stared at the camera.

"Don't come after us, or this will happen to you." He started walking but turned, forgetting something, "oh yeah, follow us if you dare," he spoke in a destroyed tone, the reverse of the offers put everybody at hold.

He pulled his sword from the lifeless body.
