Eader had to find a way out of the hospital, they did not have any security guards (cool if they had) but they had a lot of staff members.
This is not the ideal position for Eader, if one of them sees him sneaking out then he would be in trouble. So he thought of a plan to get through them. The old man already sent his address to him, so they could start training.
The plan was to ask Nancy to hide him in a mobile compartment so that she could just push him outside.
Of course, it would be weird for him to be wearing hospital clothes, so he would grab the spare clothing from the ones that he fought with (they are in his room, Nancy gave it a while after). Then he would get to the old man's place to train, then come back.
Nancy was a crucial part of the plan; not only was she moving him to the outside, she would stop any people from coming in, and if so then she would have an excuse.
'Sadly, asking Nancy to do something like that would be bad. Would she go along with it?'
He pressed the button next to his bed, and a few minutes later, Nancy came in.
"Nancy, can I ask you a favour," he strongly asked, giving a tough glance.
"What's the favour?" she replied.
"Can you help me break out!" shouting, not too loud for other people to hear.
She was confused, "N-n-n-no I can't do that," stuttering from the bizarre question.
"Please, I will do anything," Eader was in the move of begging, since having no pride was easier.
Eader was gonna suggest other things but she surprisingly answered," Yes, only on one condition."
He looked at her and asked, " what is it?"
She gave a look at him and asked, "can you make sure that you give me a few things?"
She looked at him weakly, but changed her face when he nodded.

The plan successfully worked and he was outside, then he noticed a stench.
'Is it this hoodie? Wait, I wasn't even wearing my hoodie for the fight, then how…'
He ignored it. He sniffed it, then looked at the jeans, agitated by the sent he went back to his house, using GPS.
'Where would I be without this?'
He ran home as fast as a cheetah. It did not take him so long, it said twenty-minute walk, but since he ran he was twice as fast.
'Good, I arrived home.'
He looked around and saw blood splatter from the fight. He felt sorry that Emilia misused him, but at the same time, she wanted to pick on me in the first place. Grabbed his keys and opened the door, luckily I had them in my jeans the whole time. Then he realised something crucial.
'Did somebody take my clothes off?'
But he already knew the answer, and who did. He went changing the hoodie and jeans for changing them for sports blue shorts and a red and golden football T-shirt. Felt more flexible.
'Wait, I fought him in jeans.'
The one thing that dawned on Eader was the fact that he got slashed by James, a strong sword would, of course, give a cut and had good distance. but Eader knew it and would have been able to dodge it, but he could not move in that split second and asked why.
'So my jeans got me hospitalised for one week.'
Then he smacked himself in the face, grabbed the sword and ran to the old man's house, cursing like a sailor.
Arriving at the man's house was like meeting an old kin.
It has the same feel to it, but it's not like I ever felt it.'
It was a small bungalow, had a small rocky drive, but it looked like he had a garden. When he entered he felt a presence, an intimidating one. He pressed the doorbell, which gave a loud bell ring. He looked up to see where the noise came from and saw the golden bell in all its glory.
A small person opened the door, a girl with ponytails and a small curled dress opened.
"Grandpa! The weirdo's here!" she announced loudly.
"Hello," he sighed," nice to meet you," smiling at the girl.
"There you are, come in," he said being at the other side of the hallway.
When Eader walked inside he saw the satire covered in snow fluffy carpet, the walls were oak, with grain texture (suiting well with his sword). He walked to where the old man stood, which had a white framed door, leading to outside.
The house had blue walls and a white roof with Acacia framing, the same for the back. However, the garden was beautiful, appealing, and glamorous. There was an iron table and anvil, plus a large crate where all refined wood was.
It had a waterfall which led to a clean, aquatic pond, with many mini and immense fish, you could even see tadpole eggs in the far corner, wonderful biodiversity full of marine and non-combined. He even saw a giant statue, with a lion head and dragon mixed. He walked down the red-maroon stairs, fascinated by life. At the far end of the garden next to the grand acacia, the fence was hedge groves.
There was a rocky concrete landing at the front, and next to it on the grass, were a dark oak wooden table and chair, which looked very robust (even having a shine on them). Then Eader deduced that they must have been overwhelmed by resin the same as the sword.
It made him smile, as there was even a depth difference to house and garden as the diverse place descended like a baby hill.
"Ok, first thing first," he announced, startling as waking him up from the beauty of the garden. I want you to call me gramps, ok," he said, sternly.
Eader wanted to deny, but he knew why he had to.
'As the detective thinks he's my granddad, I have to play along.'
"Ok."
"Next, give me the sword," he ordered, not acting like himself. Eader forgot that he was still holding it, giving it to him. Then Gramps went off the landing, down to a metal ancient tub.
Next to it, he saw a pipe run down, which said 'Don't turn,' curious, he asked," It says don't turn down there. Why?"
With a serious face, he answered" there are toxins which can give a despicable rash, and it will ruin the grass, too."
"Then why is it so easy to open?"
"Because it isn't."
By that answer, Eader was confused, giving the face of giving up and regret.
Gramps laughed at it" hahaha, yes you need a sword to do it and only a few can turn it probably, also the pipes are titanium alloy, hard to break."
Then he grabbed a full bottle of what looked read, oxalic acid, poured it in the tub, putting the sword in.
Eader now was curious, "what about the magic? Isn't it meant to protect it from breaking?"
The old man looked at him, blinking multiple times.
'He has to be joking.'
The misinterpretation he wanted, "Alright then, your sword probably doesn't have a strong base so it means you probably don't control it that much, right?"
Eader nodded in confusion
"That explains it, so controlling the magic will make it more durable and then you can output more of its power, so try that, but I can't help you with it as it is your power, unless I have it but whatever." Eader ignored what he meant by 'it'.
He grabbed a timer( which was stuck on the side of the tub) and put it on for ten minutes.
"Now, I explicitly told you to get a haircut," he said in a sad tone.
"Well you said that you suggested so I thought I did not have to," he said politely.
"That's ok, I have to cut your hair myself."
"Wha-what!" he protested," you never said anything about that!"
The old man came closer, he took a step back, then ran.
But the Gramps did not chase him, he grabbed a stick, threw it, and it landed on top of his head, immobilising him.
"I accept, fine, just don't make it look bad, pls," he accepted, hoping he was a good barber.
"Ok," he said, grinning sinisterly while walking to him.
"Follow me, and we will go to the bathroom, I have a razor there."
Eader gulped, as he followed the old man.
When they were done, Eader's head had a nice trim on the side and an average scale of height on the top. It pleased Eader well, but he did not show the back of his head. They went outside again. Eader saw the sword out of the tub on the table, nicely presented.
The little girl was two metres away on a rocking chair reading a book.
'Damn, how did she know, I am pretty sure he never told her, did he tell her beforehand?'
"Sit down, please," he ordered. Eader followed the instructions.
"Now listen, take that filthy top off."
He said it in another grey manor, but he grabbed a cup, which had green tea in it.
"W-WHY!?" he questioned and exclaimed, also looking at the tea, hypnotically.
"I need to see what we improve on, then you can get tea," giving a loud sipping sound.
"I will have raspberry tea, if you have any," then he followed his first instructions.
"Sunny, can you get raspberry tea, please!" he shouted, then gave a disappointed stare," you won by speed and only by speed, your opponents at that school will be harder to beat so I suggest you beef up."
He smiled from the last phrase," so I have to train my body first?"
"Yes, you do!" he shouted as Sunny came down with a cup of ruby tea.
