Muramasa.

He was about to die, and even then, he was still frozen in horror. The realization that Velrossa was in this state because of his own folly made the scene all that more gruesome.

As the Orc's colossal sword descended towards Archibald, time seemed to compress and darkness shrouded the young boy.

The area darkened immensely, giving off a gorish vibe that could tear the soul of man.

What appeared before Archibald was not a lifeline or a last minute weapon, but rather a weapon of mass destruction - the Demon Blade Muramasa.

This divine artifact was a slaughter weapon that had bathed in the blood of its enemies times too many. It was a soulless weapon that could only be wielded by the most heartless of mankind.

The Demon Blade Muramasa, a highly coveted magical sword, renowned for its offensive capabilities.

It was one of the three great Swords of Calamity of Delsegade.

Despite its similarities to a regular katana, the sword boasted distinct features that set it apart.

The grip of the blade was composed of a long handle with a thin base, rolled up in a unique pattern. The back-tip of the handle was coated in gold and adorned with a short dark purple rope, featuring two large red pearls.

The blade itself was thicker than a standard katana, with a tsuba handguard for added protection.

"Are you giving up?" the sword spoke to Archibald.

"Huh?" the sorrowful, quivering voice of Archibald mustered some words.

"Your weakness disgusts me... What is this soft expression of remorse on your face child? I seek the depravity in your eyes, not sadness."

The voice of the sword was more or less feminine, it had a distinct ominous feeling about it.

"Awaken your hatred. Accept your maelstrom of hate and groom the malice within you..."

"W-What are you?"

"Me? Simple... I'm a Sword of Calamity, a fierce weapon driven by heinous wishes and destined to bathe in the blood of my masterʼs enemies."

She wanted Archibald to wield her, she hadn't felt the touch of man in a while. She craved for it, she begged everyday to be massaged by the strong hands of men and to soak in the blood of whosoever the wielder cuts.

Being a Sword of Calamity, her strength was overwhelming and as a result very few people had what it took to wield her.

"Use me... Hold me..."

Muramasaʼs words slowly reached Archibald. And as he knelt there in dismay while the Orc Lord's sword descended, time still moved slowly.

He ponderously reached for the hilt of the Demon Blade.

"Do it already... I won't just get you revenge, I'll do more than that... I can make you a God of Swords... No, infact, I can make you a God of War."

"God of War?" he asked, unsure what Muramasa meant.

"Many individuals aspire to become a God, but few are willing to put in the necessary hard work. These individuals often give up after a few attempts, lacking the patience to see results. They retreat to their comfort zone, where adversity is non-existent. However, there is a group of determined individuals who persevere through failure and pain. They push their physical limits through endless training and expand their knowledge by devouring books. They take the ultimate leap to build their own destinies. Their unwavering persistence and tireless efforts enable them to secure victories that elude others. These individuals stand at the pinnacle of their race and earn the title of a God."

These words were without lies. They were the final words that made Archibald tightly grasp the long hilt of Muramasa, and for a second she moaned. It'd been a while since she'd felt a grip this strong. She couldn't control herself.

As time resumed its normal pace, Danzar's colossal sword descended upon Archibald.

However, in a lightning-fast move, Archibald severed Danzar's arm, causing a gush of blood. Danzar was taken aback by the speed of Archibald's attack, only catching a glimpse of his blood-stained face and sword.

As if that wasn't enough, Archibald then proceeded to slice Danzar's eyes off, causing him to scream in agony. The brutal assault continued as Archibald savagely cut off Danzar's left leg, resulting in even more blood being spilled.

It was a horrific scene that left no doubt about the savagery of the attack.

"Those eyes... That sword... This aura!"

Danzar recognized it all too well. There was only one way this would end.

The slaughter of the orcs.

With Muramasa in hand, he had dark irises that almost appeared black.

They were dead, flat, reptilian-like eyes.

His pupils didn't dilate.

A "soulless" stare.

Other orcs arrived with weapons in hand.

There were about thirty in number. They read the atmosphere all too well.

The bloodlust that filled the air came from the silent Archibald.

"W-What is this monster!" were their first words.

They didn't need any confirmation to know this young boy was a superior force.

Danzar who was maimed on the ground was more than enough proof.

"Attack!" Danzar cried out.

"But he'll kill us!" said one of the Orcs.

"I am the Orc Lord of the East! You will obey me!" cried the orc.

After the confrontation between Danzar and an orc, the latter launched a swift and precise attack.

It was designed to catch Archibald off guard.

However, Archibald utilized his mastery of the Jade-level Sky Lord Art known as [Excellent Angel's Evasion].

This was able to expertly evade the strike and counter with a single technique.

The orc was sent flying with a tailspin and met a gruesome fate.

None of the other orcs knew when, but the orc who had attacked was now minced meat.

Three more approached Archibald all with their swords drawn.

"Enough of this.." Archibald said while wearing his Sanpaku Eyes.

Upon observing Archibald's movements, amazement.

Danzar witnessed what appeared to be a crouching motion.

Followed by a horizontal sword stroke and a spinning motion before the sword was plunged into the ground.

However, this seemingly innocuous action was brutal.

It resulted in five Orcs, including the three that initially approached him, being brutally cut down by sharp winds of blade.

The resulting injuries reduced them to a writhing mass of blood.

The Orc Lord recognized these movements of Archibald.

It was the Black Moon Art. Or so it seemed.

A move that had a much more honed and sharpened feel to it.

"You'll all pay.." Archibald charged through the small army of orcs.

Head, Arms, Neck, Abdomen, Throat, Legs. He sliced these all off upon his sharp Thunder God movement.

One of the orcs crashed into a stone wall.

Another Orc hurled an axe toward Archibald with all its might.

Archibald quickly turned and pulverized the axe with a symmetrical vertical slash downward.

"What?!"

Every orc exclaimed. The situation was feeling hopeless gradually.

This was the power of Archibald in conjunction with this ominous sword.

Muramasa.

[Three Swords of Calamity of Delsegade] First ranked.

He gave a glance to Danzar who was still on the ground without a right arm and left leg.

"Die.."

Archibald said.

The orcs' blood were all over his face. The sword stained in blood as well. His eyes flamed with beautiful depravity.

"How can a child be something so fierce!" Danzar choked.

At this time, there were only about nine orcs alive.

If they kept acting negligent and attacking, it would result in even more slaughter.

The ground was stained in blood.

The air had the thick, putrid, choking scent of blood that felt like ammonia.

Decapitated bodies were left to liter the large room of the caves.

"But he's just a human! He shouldn't be able to!"

"I'm just a human yes? But a weakling... I am not.." he told Danzar.

Plain and simple.

All nine orcs ignorantly charged for the boy who emitted a bloodlusted aura.

He moved almost like an anime lacking in between frames and took only three strokes of Muramasa to brutally dice them.

They were finely cut into small cubes.

Nothing could stop him from delivering justice. Danzar would die no matter what.

Even an army of orcs couldn't stop the boy blinded by hatred, rage and disgust.

"Please! Don't kill me!"

"Can you bring him back...?" Archibaldʼs voice had lost all feeling.

The Orc Lord had no answer. He laid there with his mangled body.

"If you can, I'll spare you by all means.."

On the day now referred to as the Berkyl Slaughter.

Archibald committed a heinous act of mass murder against a group of orcs.

The aftermath was a gruesome scene, with the boy having left behind a trail of bloodshed.

He was seen bathing in the blood of his victims.

This event was widely regarded as a horrific tragedy and served as a warning against the dangers of unchecked violence.
