Execution (Part-2)

Minato was working in the kitchen while naruto was playing in the living room.

Kushina smiled as she came behind him and gently put her hand around his waist.

Minato smiled, "What are you doing?"

"If you do anything to me, I will scream", she whispered as she kissed his neck, while her chest crushed further into his back

Making him paralyzed with a red face. She chuckled, as she kept on kissing his neck, making him drop the wares he was cleaning. He turned around, and hold her, as he directly kissed her

A window broke because someone threw a brick with a drunk Voice, "Die you demon spawn"

From inside the kitchen both Kushina, both Kushina and Minato got startled as they run out to see their son lying in the pool of blood.

The windows glass struck his forehead, making him bleed as Minato flashed immediately to Naruto and then to the Hospital, Kushina on the other hand was so enraged that she ran out and brutally killed the one who threw the stone. Hitting him with the bloody fist again and again.

"Doctor how is Naruto"

"Hokage sama"

"Yes"

"Please wake up, you are sleep talking"

"Hokage sama please wake up"

Minato suddenly got startled and woke up

*Huff*Huff

Inside his office, Tired Minato woke up, as he looks here and there, "what is it", Minato asked as he pinched his eyes

"Sir this is the full report about the one that attacked your house three weeks ago"

"who was it?"

"Uchiha Ishizu"

"Uchiha?", Asked Minato shocked as he read the report

"Yes sir, We have traced his movements before his unprovoked attack on Young Naruto"

"And?"

"People witnessed him talking Uchiha Fugaku just a few minutes before the attack"

"You think it was Fugaku?"

"Uchihas jealousy and their hatred for someone better than them is a well-known fact sir. we even have the pieces of evidence, and everything fits perfectly, It has to be him who delivered this order"

"Yet you don't believe it was him"

"Everything fits too perfectly, and it doesn't make sense to me"

"How?"

"Sir I am over 50 years old, almost on the verge of retiring, I have dealt with more Uchihas than you can even imagine. Including that Brat Fugaku, I don't think it was him... Minato told something to the ANBU as he blurred, and someone came in.

Minato smiled as he saw Kushina carrying Naruto and lunch

Minato smiled, he chews the food that his wife cooked and bring to him as they sat on the sofa and watched Naruto, his half-year-old son (6 months old) crawling around and around the office with his frog plushy that had orange hands and eyes.

"I think it's safe to say his favorite color is orange. Don't you think it will be so uncool if he wants to be a lady killer in the future", said Kushina

Minato laughed, "Yea, He should have chosen the cool red. I really like that color", he said as he watched his wife with soft eyes

Kushina blushed and Minato laughed with a red face

She brought her punch forward as he kept on laughing and she punched him as he went straight into the wall and buried there.

Little Naruto looked at his father that was buried deep in the wall.

"Minato", she pulls the bloody and almost dead Minato out.

Today Minato learned to never flirt too much with his wife if he wants to stay alive... ever

For a few days, Villagers felt what's it's like to be without Police and Military protection, Minato and his ANBUS didn't take any actions as Konoha fell into Chaos. Without the Uchihas Police force, There is always Kidnapping, Robbery, Someone is always getting hurt these days.

Villagers had enough of this, as they sent another group of representatives to Minato's office.

"Hokage sama!"

"What's the matter?"

The people who arrived looked at each other and the one in the lead summoned his courage and said: "Hokage sama, we want you to get the Uchiha back to their position of maintaining order in the village. You already know how things are in the village; our lives are no longer the same!"

Minato's face changed when he heard these words, and none of the villagers dared to interrupt his thinking.

"Well, the Uchihas are in a bad situation right now, all of them have been forced out, and with all the bullying. I cannot force them to do anything"

"The villagers were quiet"

"They too are the people of this village just like you all. I don't think I can do things they don't like, right?"

"You are Hokage, you can do anything", One of the civilian got frustrated and said from behind

"If that's the case then I can kill you guys for saying ill will and trying to hurt my son right?"

All the villagers were dead quiet at that moment

Minato giggled, "It was a joke, don't take it too seriously"

"As I said earlier Uchiha police force is not available, My ANBUS are not free as well"

At that moment Fugaku entered through the door with great grief on his face.

"Hokage sama, you have to act for my clan!" Fugaku's sudden entrance shocked the villagers

"We have lost over 70% of my clan members in this war, after Senju Clan we too are on the verge of annihilation because we tried to protect this village with everything we got. We didn't even complain when we were treated unfairly and drove out of the Village. But now we can not even conduct a proper burial for them? Danzo still has his eyes on.."

"Enough Fugaku; Don't say that now!" Minato, who was shocked, suddenly screamed furiously like a sleeping cat that had its tail stepped on, jumping up from his chair to stop Fugaku upon saying Danzo's name.

The villagers were also awakened by these words, their faces showing a new type of shock.

"Everyone, I am sorry, but I have a little thing to deal with here. Please excuse us, and I promise to work on your request."

The villagers sighed upon hearing these words and immediately left the office...

As soon as they stepped foot outside, they began to whisper and discuss what they had heard:

Humans are good in essence, and unless they are too tainted with hatred, they always have sympathy for the weak. The Uchiha had just experienced a horrible tragedy. These people could feel happy about that when they had their distance, but when witnessing the grief themselves and feeling the importance of Uchihas, they couldn't keep the same feelings.

"But that death threat of Hokage sama"

Minato watched the buildings from his office, his eyes were calculating everything there is, "Prepare for the next phase of the plan, Get someone to start the rumors"

"Someone, Go and get me Kakashi"

Kakashi decided to visit the cemetery once again that morning. It was a cool sunny day in Konoha as the wind blew across the cemetery as Kakashi stared down at Obito's grave.

"Kakashi-senpai, Hokage-sama is calling," Yugao said as she came up behind Kakashi in her ANBU uniform

"Stop calling me senpai. This isn't the academy." Kakashi said as he turned around and put his hands in his pockets as he began making his way to the meeting.

"You're still my senior. Besides, you're my role model" Yugao said as she followed after him

"Find someone more suitable," Kakashi said emotionlessly before he blurred and rushed to the Hokage tower. Yugao hurriedly followed

Minato looked at his papers while writing and signing those with tired eyes.

Kakashi stood there waiting for his instructions.

"Why was Orochimaru banished and chased out of the village?"

"He was caught doing the experiments on children, trying to give them the Mukoton using first Hokage cells"

"How do you think he got first Hokage's cells and children"

"I am not sure sir"

Minato sighed and leaned on his chair, "The experiment he was doing was a major one, experiment like these needs money lots of money... First Hokage's cells are precious, they can heal a dead man alive. Not to mention Orochimaru kidnapping so many Orphans would have garnered some attention"

"..."

"I always taught you to look beneath the underneath. So, what do you see in there"

"Someone provided a large amount of money to Orochimaru for this experiment, and they somehow kidnapped a huge amount of Orphans without garnering any attention. They also provided him the first Hokage cells"

Sparrow nodded as she looked at the masked ANBUS in front of her

"ATTENTION"

Everyone was straight in line.

"According to Hokage sama's order, We will be dividing into 4 teams to search for Root Headquarters. Root has been dismissed by Hokage's orders and no longer exist on paper, But don't be a fool thinking that Root no longer exist"

"Search everywhere, underground, outskirts, anywhere you can think of... they need a huge place, something that is not easily found and also inside the village most probably inside the ground"

After the second wave of villagers who went to the Minato's office came back, they once again gathered other villagers and told them about what they saw and heard.

"Perhaps the bad news we've heard about the Uchiha before were released by the enemies of the Uchiha?" The hidden Anbu took the lead.

"Aoki, you mean their responsibility for what happened on the Kyubi's night?" Another Anbu asked.

"I am just making guesses here. I mean, think about it, if all these things were the deeds of the Uchiha, why wouldn't the Hokage do anything about it? Why would the village hide such a secret? That would be to nobody's interest but the Uchiha themselves. And if they were hiding such information, how come they were leaked to us every time? Someone in the top of Konoha is trying to use us!"

Aoki deliberately did not name Danzo, letting the villagers say it themselves.

Sure enough, all the villagers bowed their heads and thought after hearing his analysis.

A moment later, the middle-aged man said: "We clearly heard it in the office; Fugaku dono mentioned Danzo's name"

"This whole matter seems to me as a plan put by Danzo, he used the Kyubi's attack to frame the Uchiha and then sent people to make us clash with them... I mean how do we all know it was Uchihas who was controlling Kyuubi? They say that Kyuubi has Sharingan in its eyes. It's not like we ever dared to see Kyuubi in the eyes. "Danzo is not just hiding behind his high position in the village; he's hiding behind our approval!"

Things were getting out of hand, One Root ANBU was unable to handle the situation, everyone was against Danzo sama.

As the anbu went into the darkness and disappear from the shadows.

Sparrow who was above the building hiding from everyone disappeared along with the Root Anbu.

The Root anbu disappeared from existence, No one knows where and how

"So we are going to destroy the entire Root", asked Yasaki in Minato's office

"No, It's the legacy left behind by Nandaime. The idea behind the founding of Root was very good. Elders just used it for their own gain. Beside, Konoha needs every single one of its shinobi to get through this civil war we are boiling"

"So what's the plan?"

Minato smiled, "You, Kushina, and Intelligence Head Jiraiya sensei are Seal masters. Tweak the curse seal on their tongue a little. Make them loyal to the village, Not Elders or Hokage"

"Understood, Hokage sama"

"Sir we are prepared"

"Understood, Execute the plan"

"Meet Kushina and Jiraiya sensei to finalize the plan about Curse seal", Minato finally said to Yasaki

Sparrow gave her commands to Several ANBU teams

The three Hyuuga ANBU began spying on the Uchiha. Two Uchiha spied on the Hyuuga. The Inuzuka ANBU members were tasked with the Ino-Shika-Cho clans. The Nara clan spied on the Inuzuka.

No one knew what exactly they were tasked with. Internal spying was usually a matter for ROOT, wasn't it?

A few people tried to get the Hokage to explain what was going on. Orders were orders though; the Hokage sat resolutely and said nothing.

Indeed, most of the ANBU didn't question the orders of their Leader. The Hyuuga were naturally suspicious of the Uchiha; the Uchiha loathed the Hyuuga.

Reports flowed into the hands of Hokage. The information he wanted to know was so strange. Were the Uchiha talking with people outside of their compound more often? Did the Yamanaka clan ninjas talk with a lot of civilians?

It was a full 2 days later that notices went out to the clan heads and the elder counselors. There was a meeting in less than two hours.

Minato came in with Jiraiya and Hokage Guard Platoon behind him.

He looked at everyone with a huge smile, "Everyone please sit"

Almost everyone sighed a huge heave of relief.

Minato smiled and sit on the huge table in front of everyone, "This is my first ever meeting so please take care of me, everyone. Since I can make lots of mistakes"

Everyone laughed

"Since this is our first-ever meeting I picked a very pleasant topic to start with", Minato laughed

Danzo rolled his eyes, "Is this the work Hokage should be doing?"

Even Sandaime Hokage sighed

"What is it Hokage sama", One of the Civilian Council members laughed and asked.

Minato giggled, "The topic is... to decide whether you lots are guilty enough to be executed or not"

"..."

Dead silent

"Isn't it such a fun topic"

"..."

Hiruzen frowned, "Minato what do you mean"

Minato chuckled and jumped from the table and sit on the chair

"Sandaime sama, Let's start with you. According to my investigations, the sarutobi clan has embezzled millions of fund over the years in the name of you being the Hokage"

"..."

Hiruzen frowned, why didn't he know it.

Minato smiled, "Everyone, please keep smiling, because you will be frowning a lot from here on out"

"..."

"We are going to be here for a long long time, So ease up"

The door of the meeting room is Heavily closed by Genma.

While the meeting is underway, the entire Village is being searched by ANBUS and sensors.

The village was in Lockdown. Outskirts, Underground, Clan Compounds, everywhere was being searched for Root Headquarters.

Yasaki along with other sensors on different tall buildings stands, sensing the entire village.

...

Meanwhile, Kakashi and Rin entered under sewage to gather enough pieces of evidence on what exactly happened with Orochimaru that year.

While his Anbus were making the ruckus, Minato smiled with cold eyes in the meeting room as he watches everyone.
