Chapter 9 – Evil Kirito?!

Third person POV

 And then, shortly thereafter, Roxas stopped at an alleyway to catch his breath. "No way this isn't a dream…" he said to himself between breaths. Then, he looked around for any of those made-up creatures but found none.

 "Phew!" Roxas sighed in relief, before deciding to take a safer route back home via the alleyway.

So, he did so, walking through the alleyway back to his shared house.

 Along the way, he stayed vigilant, looking around his surroundings. But then, someone teleported in front of him, surprising him and stopping him. "Woah!" Roxas responded to this. That someone was a Sword Arts Online player named Kirito, or rather, Evil Kirito. He had two swords on his back, and he smirked at him. "Hello there, NPC…"

 "What? NPC?" Roxas thought while looking at him. "That's a game term!"

 "What are you doing here?" Roxas asked him while being a bit agitated.

 "Oh, I am just teleporting around to see our new gaming world." Kirito approached him while getting one of his two swords and pointing at him. "You're dead."

Roxas was scared of him now. "W-Who are you?"

 "My name is Kirito, or rather…Evil Kirito."

That name made Roxas remember the name Anko mentioned in his email last night.

 "Right! It was him!" his mind figured out.

So, Roxas decided to fight him out so he could get out of that situation.

 "Alright then," he said to him seriously like an action movie character, "if you want to fight me, then go on."

He then positioned himself in a fighting pose.

Evil Kirito then coldly chuckled. "Poor choice…"

He then held his sword and lunged at Roxas.

Roxas dodged that fast, before pushing him on his back.

That did the trick, and Kirito fell to the ground.

Seeing an opportunity to escape, Roxas sprinted his way out.

But as Roxas did so, Kirito managed to get up and is now chasing him. "Come back here, you NPC!"

 Roxas ran and ran while trying not to look back until he had managed to get to the safety of his shared house. Now, he went in and slammed the front door shut, before breathing heavily. "That was insane…" Then, Shuto heard that and came to the scene. "Oh, you're home, my good friend. Welcome back home, did you buy what you need?"

Roxas then sighed in relief and looked at him. "Yeah…I am back…"

He then went to the dining room to put his groceries for a bit.

 "Also, dude," Shuto said to him, "did you heard that thunder and rumbling last time?"

 "Yes, I did," Roxas replied while glancing at him, "and there are some monsters running in the streets."

 "What?" Shuto was confused.

 A monster was passing by their house while growling. Roxas and Shuto heard that and rushed to the front door. Shuto opened it, only for him and his friend to see that monster, a giant scorpion, passing by before disappearing from the scene. Shuto couldn't believe his eyes, and Roxas confirmed it with his eyewitness testimony.

 "Wow, so weird…" Shuto commented.

Roxas then nodded and went upstairs to change his clothes.

 In his room, he did so and sat down on his bed, trying to think and process about what had happened. "This can't be for real…" his mind said. Roxas then tried to connect it with the email he had received and accepted last night, before thinking any possible connection or relation between them.

 But, that was interrupted when Evil Kirito teleported into his room pointing his sword at him. "Hello there," he smirked that. Roxas noticed the tip of his blade and looked at him, only to be startled and frightened. "What the…?!"

 "Found you…" Kirito chuckled while smiling an evil smile at him.

The highly-skilled swordsman from Sword Arts Online then pushed his blade towards Roxas' neck.

Roxas reacted by kicking him in the stomach and bolted out of the bed and room, closing the door and running downstairs.

 "HELP!" he shouted at whoever is going to hear him.

 Luckily, all of his three housemates heard that from the dining room and went to Roxas, who was hiding under the staircase. "Woah, what is going on, Ro-kun?" Minato asked him.

"Someone named…Evil Kirito…was after me…" Roxas replied while shivering in fear.

 "Evil Kirito?" Minato asked back in semi-confusion.

 "Who's that?" Koyuki added.

Before Roxas would answer, Kirito came downstairs searching for him. "Where are you?"

He then saw Shuto, Minato, and Koyuki standing and smirked at them. "Oh, what do we have here? More NPCs…"

 "Why did you call us like that?" Shuto asked while he, Koyuki, and Minato were scared of him.

 "Because…all of you are now in a game called Sword Arts Online."

Evil Kirito then chuckled darkly at them after stepping on the ground floor while pointing his sword at them.

 Then, Roxas, who had heard everything, then looked at his friends. "Guys, run!" His friends did so and went to the kitchen.

Kirito was alerted with shock, and Roxas tackled him to the ground, trying to disarm him.

 "You better stop this right now!" Roxas shouted at him.

 "Damn you!" Kirito scowled at him.

Roxas was then kicked by Kirito in the stomach, prompting Roxas to retreat into the living room.

There Roxas grabbed a pillow from the sofa and threw it at Kirito. "Take that!"

Kirito smiled and sliced that soft thing with his sword fast and skillfully.

 "No way…" Roxas was shocked, before running to the kitchen.

Kirito then chased after him. "Come back here!"

 There in the kitchen, Roxas' friends were hiding behind one side of the fridge when Roxas came. He then grabbed a stool that used to reach the high cupboards and used it as a shield against Kirito. "Stop this!"

His friends are now watching him fight.

 "Ro-kun!"

 "Oh no…"

 "He'll die!"

Shuto then pulled out his smartphone and came out.

 "I'll call the police if you don't stop attacking us!" he threatened Evil Kirito while showing him his phone with the dial pad for phoning the emergency services.

Kirito noticed that and frowned at him, before retreating and fleeing the scene by teleportation.

Roxas saw that he was gone and put the stool down.

 "Are you okay, Roxas?" Shuto went to him and checked his body for any injuries.

Thanks to Roxas and Shuto, Evil Kirito wasn't able to harm them or their friends.
