She couldn't move, and could only see the exquisite material of his custom-made suit.
But Han Ke's screams made her heart clutch.
"Mo Qing, what did you do?"
Mo Qing took out a combat knife, slowly wiped the blood on the blade on Han Ke's shoulder and said, with an indifferent expression, "Don't test my patience."
During his days in Thailand, he had led his life in a dog-eat-dog world of competing for territories every day. He had started survival training when he was three years old and had been sent out of the base when he was five. He began to carry out various dangerous missions, and every mission could result in death. He would have been dead if he had shown any soft-heartedness.
Later on, the organization had to go into hiding, so he and those who had survived could leave the organization.
His happy life had lasted less than two years when something happened to his father's Dynasty. He had been forced to flee to Thailand, where he had lived in a merciless world, accompanied by mines and gunpoints every day.
There was no way a person like him could be soft-hearted.
He hadn't done anything to Han Ke before not because he didn't dare to, but because he hadn't needed to resort to that. He wouldn't hesitate, had there been a need to do so.
Looking at the bloodied hole in his hand, Han Ke finally realized how horrifying the man in front of him was.
Holding his injured hand, he said, "What ... what do you want?"
"I like to deal with smart people," Mo Qing took a glance behind him. Lawyer Wang stepped forward, opened his briefcase, and took out an agreement termination letter.
Han Ke looked at Gu Xiaoran, who was in Mo Qing's arms, and gritted his teeth.
Gu Xiaoran could actually make Mo Qing do that for her.
Mo Qing looked at Han Ke indifferently, showing no change in his expression.
Han Ke realized that he had to sign the agreement termination letter that day: he didn't have a choice.
At that instant, he felt that Mo Qing was really like a demon, and that he had run out of all his luck.
With trembling hands, he took the pen from the lawyer and signed his name on the agreement termination letter.
He was reluctant to let Gu Xiaoran off, but if Mo Qing could injure his hand then, he could crush Xinhe tomorrow. Mo Qing wasn't someone whom he could offend.
The lawyer took the agreement termination letter and handed it to Mo Qing.
Mo Qing took a glance to make sure that there was no problem before letting go of Gu Xiaoran.
"Sign it."
Gu Xiaoran turned around and saw Han Ke's bleeding hand. Her face turned pale instantly, and she subconsciously took two steps back before looking at the agreement termination letter Mo Qing had given her.
"I'm not signing." She did want to break away from Han Ke, but not in that manner—she wasn't supportive of using such a violent method.
Mo Qing, who had anticipated her refusal, showed an ambiguous smile.
"Gu Xiaoran, let's play a game."
"What game?"
The gate was locked, and there were at least a hundred people guarding from here to the gate. There was no way Gu Xiaoran could not leave without his permission.
Gu Xiaoran wouldn't do such useless things either.
"From now to tomorrow morning, I'll let Han Ke keep one finger for each time that you allow me to shoot. If I am not satisfied, not even once, I'll just chop off his hand tomorrow morning."
Mo Qing's beautiful eyes smiled, like a beast watching the prey struggle in its paws.
Gu Xiaoran looked up at Mo Qing's vicious eyes, her face pale.
"I'm not going to do it, just chop off his hand." She looked at Mo Qing's eyes calmly.
She knew Mo Qing's ability in that area. If he really wanted to chop off Han Ke's hand, he wouldn't shoot even if she did it with him all night.
"Gu Xiaoran, are you really so heartless?" Han Ke wanted to curse at her but didn't dare to, "Save me on account of our past."
