Days and nights were passing by, each blending into the next as time seemed to stretch on endlessly. During the day, Anastasia and Elliot would meander through the labyrinthine streets, filled with a blend of curiosity and caution. By the afternoon, they would find a safe place to rest, sleeping in shifts so that one of them could remain vigilant while the other recuperated. Their nights were fraught with danger, often interrupted by attacks from various creatures lurking in the shadows. This cycle of vigilance and survival had persisted even as they approached the ninth day, a testament to their resilience in what was only the beginning of their journey. Throughout this arduous time, both Anastasia and Elliot had levelled up their abilities, honing their skills and increasing their Stats in response to the challenges they faced.
Anastasia, feeling the weariness settle in her bones, found a sturdy piece of debris to sit on. She pulled out a bottle of water, taking a long, refreshing drink from it, her throat parched from the relentless heat of the day. As she quenched her thirst, she glanced up at her [Status], eager to see how her hard work and perseverance had translated into tangible improvements.

The young woman glanced over to Elliot, who was standing in front of her, looking somewhat weary. He was wiping away the sweat that had accumulated on his brow, a result of the relentless heat from the blazing sun above them. The brightness seemed almost unbearable, casting a shimmering haze over the landscape. Anastasia, ever attentive, held up the bottle of water, offering it to him. As he took a long drink, savouring the refreshing liquid that momentarily alleviated his thirst, she couldn't help but steal a glance at his [Status], curious about how he was faring under such challenging conditions.

Both of them had gotten pretty high but the thing that surprised Anastasia the most is that at this rate she might move up in ranks at the beginning of the second scenario, which was going to give her an advantage later on.
The way that people rank up is when they reach level 100, when they rank up they can evolve their class based on the skills and stats they gained. The level goes back to level 1 but their rank goes up, making them stronger.
However, there was one problem she needed to solve... She looked over to Elliot who was changing the bangas around his injuries. Because they were still in the prologue of the game, they have not gained access to the [Store] yet. Even if they did, there was a limit of what they could buy due to their ranks. Elixa had been one of them, they would only be able to buy low ranking Elixa, and the ones she had were also low so they couldn't completely heal.
"We need a monk…" Anastasia spoke out loud.
"A monk?" She hadn't relise it had been said until Elliot spoke up in question.
"They are the first class of magic wielders." Which caused her to explain this. "They would become Priests or Mages based on the skills they possessed at the beginning and gained along the way.
"So you want a priest and mage?" The boy came to question her.
"More like a priest. They might not have powerful spells for attacking but healing and support spells would be useful." The moment she answered that Elliot looked down at his and Anastasia's injuries. It makes sense in what she was saying. "The only problem is that Monks with healing abilities are rare to come by." But as this was explained both heard something approaching causing them to reach for their weapons. The pair have become more sensitive due to the night attacks and increasing their [senses]. As they were getting louder the sound got and Anastasai was able to count six sets.
A shadow had been the first thing that came around the corner. "I thought I heard voices!" Followed by a voice before someone's head appeared from around the corner. "Holy shit!" They had been a man who came to pull around the corner completely and saw Anastasia. "Boss, check this hot chick out!" Hearing that caused the 'Chick' to rolled her eyes, while Elliot, on the other hand, looked like he was vane from his head about to pop.
"By herself?" A second voice had asked this as more shadows began approaching the corner before turning around it. But when they did Anastasia's cold hard face shifted.
"She's with a kid." The one who caused it had been a 5'11" tall, fair skinned man with deep, brown eyes. He had straight, light brown hair that was clean. The fact was the young man was handsome, however, it wasn't the reason to change her expression even slightly.
"Hey there, I'm Laim Major." The man introduced himself but the name Laim Major meant something to Anastasia. "Are you two alright?" This question had caused her to bite the inside of her mouth, to stop herself from speaking. The group came to a silence as all looked at Anastasia, who sat staring at the young man, Liam.
"Ah... I'm Elliot and she's Anastasia." Unable to bear the oppressive silence that hung in the air, Elliot stepped forward to introduce them to the five unfamiliar faces surrounding them. "And we're fine." Liam glanced toward Elliot and then to Anastasia; a smile curled on his lips, sending an unexpected chill racing up her spine.
"I'm glad to hear that. It must be hard for the two of you," he said, his voice kind and soft, laced with an air of genuine concern. However, Anastasia knew better than anyone the truth.
