PROLOGUE

Today, like everyday, the waves gently lap at the shore near your tiny village.

The twin blessings of warm sun and bounteous waters afford a simple but pleasant life.

Nets are cast and chores completed friends and families gather to laugh and talk around the fire.

Despite the weird circumstances that brought you here, you've grown used to this life, sure it doesn't have the modern appliances or the comfort that you were used to in your previous life.

But this kind of life is a welcomed breath of fresh air for you, as you think back to what your life was before you ended up in this new world.

You were just an average person with average aspiration average hobbies, in short you were the personification of the word average.

The only thing you look up to everyday is turning on your old xbox 360 and play some games or check your phone for updates on your downloaded books.

And that's exactly what went down before you went to sleep, and you woke up disorientated and confused and in unfamiliar surroundings, and what you'll come to recognize as the world of your favourite video game dragon's dogma dark arisen.

A world that could be summarized in one world chaotic and now your inside said world and all you can think about is how fucked you truly are.

With a giant red dragon who can descend upon you, and burn this place to ashes.

And you know that he will come it's just a matter of when and so the fear of that outcome.

Starts eating at you with each passing day you not knowing whether this'll be the day you die or not.

The fear of the unknown is slowly gnawing at ur dwindling sanity much to the concern of those around you.

And so the afternoon grows late and the sun is setting while ur still lost in your own thought, and as you are heading into your home, you hear the beating of wings from afar.

As you look at where the sound is originating you spot a red object coming closer over the horizon and instinctively you know that it has come for you.
