Falcon steps out of his house of optimism and reason, to face the real world. He can't figure out how he grew up to become such a pessimistic visionary. After a while, it became clear that having a reasonable parent affects the way you think too, and both together does some wonders on the way you think about the world you see.
Falcon ponders the way his mother would relate unrealistic tales and dreams of the future that conflicted with his sense of reality. Then, his father would always look at the world and have a rational explanation for everything. He realized that he could see the reality through all the lies coming from his mother and his father's truthful lies created his reality that seemed dull and uninviting.
