Watchers

When the talk was over, I was completely shocked by the revelation that my parents made.

Apparently, they knew everything because they were a part of an organization that watched over supernatural beings like this.

They were the ones that made sure that these supernatural beings didn't cause harm to the people of this world. At the same time, they were the ones that cleaned up after any supernatural phenomena, so that the people of the world could live normal lives.

When it was over, I couldn't help asking, "Are you guys the Illuminati?"

Both my parents revealed bitter smiles before my father said, "That tacky place? No, that place was destroyed years ago because they tried digging into deals with the devils. In the end, we had to clean up the mess and it was a lot of trouble."
