When Yukio saw him doing this, he didn't know what got into him, but he stepped forward between the guard and the cage.

The guard looked at Yukio with a surprised look at first before saying in a deep voice, "What are you doing?"

Yukio didn't know what he was doing either, but his mind turned fast as he came up with some kind of excuse.

The guard knitted his brows when he heard this.

He just looked at Yukio with this frown on his face as if he wasn't convinced by what Yukio said, which made him feel even more nervous. But in the end, the guard put down the whip and said, "Fine, but stop it from making more noise next time. It sounds awful with all the racket that it's making."
