It was a transportation gate just like the one that I had in my attic.

I never thought that they would set up a complete transportation gate here just so we could escape.

After coming back to my senses, I asked, "Should you really be setting that up here? Isn't it a waste to use a transportation gate just for this?"

The leader looked at me and revealed a faint smile before saying, "It doesn't matter, this is a one time use item. It won't matter if we leave this here since it'll destroy itself once we finish using it."

I was even more shocked when I heard this before asking, "Isn't that a waste?"

The leader's smile became wider as he said, "Transportation gates aren't that rare in the first place. Single use items like this are easily developed, so we don't need to worry about using them like this. It's just that it's inconvenient since we need time to set them up, which is why we normally don't use them."
