Yan Ling was just standing there alone on the roof.

It was so quiet and peaceful that I couldn't help wondering if this was some kind of trap.

However, it didn't seem to be the case since there was just Yan Ling.

I couldn't be more familiar with Yan Ling, especially after all the crazy things that she did during the training. At this point, I think that I knew her body better than most people…even if that wasn't what I wanted.

I could see the mole that was on the back of her neck, so I knew that this was her.

After cautiously looking around one last time, I walked onto the roof.

When I did, Yan Ling immediately turned to look at me.

But the strange thing was that she didn't look at me the same way that she normally did. When she saw me, there was this strange look that was on her eyes before she narrowed them to look at me.

It was almost as if she was sizing me up.

Why would she be doing that?
