Recovery

" Ugh!! my head hurts !" In a wooden shack deep within what looked like a secluded jungle, a young man grunted, as he woke up with a very painful headache .

This young man had long spiky hair, quite the handsome face, his well built but scarred body was covered with bandages due to severe injuries. " About time you woke up" A voice chuckled beside him, before the young man turned his head to see a handsome man sitting cross legged beside his bed.

" Master" Yang Chen immediately shouted with joy at the sight of his master.

" Ouch ouch!" However he quickly grimaced in pain as his wounds began to flare up." I suggest you stay put for a while as your injuries aren't fully healed" Mu Yen shook his head as he looked at him and slowly stood up.

" However I must congratulate you. You did not disappoint me at all. In fact, you have exceeded my expectations. Being able to take out a Nascent Soul Cultivator with a single punch with the strength of a super saiyan." He smiled and placed his hands behind him as he spoke while looking at Yang Chen.

" Although your strength is not that of a normal super saiyan, now is it? The Super Saiyan transformation is supposed to be a times fifty multiplier, however your transformation is a whopping 100 times multiplier, not even considering the fact that this was the first time accessing that form. "

" Hehe" Yang Chen could only smile sheepishly as he gazed at his master . " I guess I'm quite talented ." He added.

" Quickly focus on your recovery, I've prepared some gifts I think you might like." Mu Yen added, before he vanished into Yang Chen's body.

Yang Chen sat up and began to circulate his Qi within his body. He gently allowed his Qi to pass over his injuries as they began to heal. If one was looking at him, he or she would be able to see his wounds rapidly healing at an astonishing rate.

After an hour, he was fully healed. He quickly jumped out of the bed and began stretching his body , while doing mild exercises.

" You're healed already, how's that even possible!?" Soon a clear voice rang out from the entrance of the hut, before a beautiful lady walked in with a shocked expression on her face. Yang Chen was even captivated by her looks, however he quickly averted his eyes and spoke with a faint smile.

" And who might you be?" " Sorry for the outburst, it's not always I see patients with near death injuries recover in minutes . My name is Min Lan, I'm in charge of the sect's alchemy department. What's yours?" She spoke with a smile as she walked close to him and began examining him. " It's Yang Chen. " He said, while evading her examination .

" Yang Chen huh, defeating the butcher on your first arrival in the school and knocking out and elder with one punch. The entire school was shocked at your performance." She added with a smile.

" Anyway the sect master asked me to bring you to him once you're recovered. And you are now, so let's go." She quickly said and grabbed his arm, before pulling him out of the hut.

" Hey hey wait a minute. " Yang Chen tried protesting and tried to pull his hand out , however he couldn't . It was as if his hands were being held by a clamp.

" She's definitely not ordinary." He quickly made a mental note, before sighing and following this unreasonable woman.

Soon, they arrived at a huge floating pagoda which opened for them to enter.

" Dad, I brought him!" Min Lan immediately shouted after entering the pagoda. " Do you really have to scream every time you come here Lan'er ?" Ren Tianyou, the sect master, walked out of a room with a tired look on his face. " Of course" She however smiled smugly, before presenting Yang Chen to him.

" I'm surprised to see you're healed young man, follow me and let's have a conversation. Lan'er please make tea for us " Ren Tianyou spoke before walking away and gesturing for Yang Chen to follow him.

" Why should I make tea for you? Humph!!" She quickly retorted and harrumphed like a spoilt little brat and left. A vein popped up on the sect masters forehead, before he quickly sighed and walked away.

" I definitely shouldn't have adopted this monster into my home." He muttered to himself before swiftly leading Yang Chen.

However Yang Chen with his sharp senses heard and couldn't help but chuckle to himself .
