221. The First Root

The old man saw a wave of darkness rapidly moving towards him. Within this darkness, he saw what it truly meant to be evil. What it meant to be the embodiment of darkness. When the wave was just a few inches away, it dissipated into nothingness. The old man did not even take a moment to think before he tore a small hole in space and escaped into chaotic space at the greatest speed possible. All his power had been used to create that small hole. The small store also disappeared into thin air when the old man disappeared. Kai Syaoran opened his eyes a few minutes later. He looked calm and within his eyes, a hint of darkness could be seen.

When he saw that the store had disappeared and he was standing in the middle of an empty space, he was a bit shocked.

"What happened ?" he asked Whiro since he sometimes saw what Kai Syaoran saw.
