Teen!Dean x Reader

"DEAAAN?" You shouted over the noise, he had been playing the Back in Black album on repeat since seven, and it was now ten. Rolling your eyes, you opened the door a crack, ready to holler at him for being so loud. Something stopped you however, maybe it was the way he looked so happy with that huge smile plastered onto his features.... But you didn't shout, you just leaned on the doorframe watching him with a smirk, bobbing your head slightly to the catchy rhythm. "Oh what the hell..." You mutter under your breath as you jump up onto the bed to join him, his smile grew even wider when he saw you. "C'mon Y/N! Air guitar!" He yelled over the music, laughing and doing a terrible air guitar impression, ending it with a flourish and a grin.

Ten minutes later you both flopped back on the bed, Dean turned to you and nodded towards the music player. "You put something on... Something a little less intense maybe." He laughed quietly, trying to regain his breath as the last few notes of 'Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution' faded away.

You smiled at the multitude of cassettes Dean had piled in a small brown box beside the music player. Rooting through the collection, you eventually picked out 'The Smiths' putting it into the player and sighing happily as 'There is a Light That Never Goes Out' started.

Dean sat up, looking at you with a softness to his features. "Y/N, will you promise me something?"You tilted your head in confusion, but nodded. "What is it Dean?"

"Promise me you'll never forget how much of a beautiful person you are... No, hush and listen to me damnit." He held up a hand to stop you from speaking, and took a deep breath before continuing. "Y/N, you're the person who knows me best in the whole world apart from Sam, you are always patient and kind with me, even though I can be one hell of an ignorant son of a bitch. I have a feeling that things are going to change soon, maybe for the better-" Dean scooted closer to you, his eyes shining with such solemn sincerity it made your heart tighten with worry. You swallowed thickly, "What's gonna change Dean? What do you mean?"

Dean leant towards you, his green eyes meeting yours. "T-this." He breathed out shakily, his lips ghosting over yours for a few moments before finally kissing you gently.
