Superior Splendor - Liberty ErotiCake - Chapter 07

Elsewhere, the Liberty ErotiCake is seen to be walking within an abandoned area of the city. The area is large enough for several Blockades to move within, but is densely overgrown with large buildings that extend as high as 400 feet upwards. The jungle within the city has consumed the buildings and streets around the Liberty ErotiCake, encasing most of them in a thick coat of green-adding an additional 300 feet of huge trees and lush that extend into the air. In the distance-in the exact center of the island, the incomplete Stem of the Umbrella will be seen, which stands at 1500 feet.
As the Liberty ErotiCake walks through the streets of this area of green, inside, Bijou takes in the scenery-

...This city would've been quite something, back when the DIC was being populated...but now, it's like walking into a scene from when the Primeval era...
Bijou says, as she takes in the scenery around her, while still moving the Liberty ErotiCake forward. As she does, she then gets to a small intersection, where she then hears something approaching from the right nearby-
"FOOTSTEPS!!!"

Hm?
As heavy footsteps are heard nearby, Bijou has the Liberty ErotiCake stop moving forward. As it does so, two DIC Blockades pass by the Liberty ErotiCake from the right-heading towards the left of the Liberty ErotiCake-
DIC Blockades
...

!
As they go past her, they don't pay any notice to the Liberty ErotiCake-hinting that they are still under the control of AI Cody. However, a second later, Bijou then reacts-
Bijou Luisant
...Andrea said that she couldn't get in contact with any of the Blockades from her ship...but, does that also mean I can't get in contact with them as well...?
She says, as she then tries to make contact with one of the Blockades walking past her. As the signal reaches one of them, the connection soon goes through. On Bijou's comms, a voice then speaks to her. It's-
Zoen Edwards (comms)
...Bijou? It's Zoen. Can you hear me?
Bijou Luisant
Zoen?! Yes. You just passed by me a second ago.
Bijou is surprised slightly to hear Zoen's voice, but the two Blockades continue to walk forward-not even moving their heads to look at Bijou in the Liberty ErotiCake. In response, Bijou now has the Liberty ErotiCake walk and soon catch up to Zoen's Blockade, and as their Blockades walk together, Zoen then speaks to her-while the other Blockade next to him remains silent-
Zoen Edwards (comms)
We aren't in control of our Blockades at the moment, as it's like they are being controlled somehow-without any input from us. We can't even use the comms, as everything is locked...but, I guess your Blockade is special somehow, as I can talk to you when you contact me like this.
As Zoen explains their predicament, Bijou gives him and his co-pilots an explanation-

I see. I heard from Andrea that the AI on her ship might be capable of controlling our Blockades on the island. She didn't know it had that kind of function, but it should help us in getting a base or two set up, as with those we can at least start to get things moving around here...
Bijou says this optimistically, as Zoen then speaks-
Zoen Edwards (comms)
I'm not sure if people will still be willing to fight-especially if they learned that such a feature existed. None of our comms work with each other as well, so we are basically prisoners in our Blockades at the moment...and who knows what people will do once we get to wherever we are being directed to...
Zoen says this sheepishly, as he will know what he must do-but he just doesn't want to say it, as just like with Abigail, he will also realize that he and his co-pilots are in the wrong place.
A moment later, Bijou will speak the hard truth that Zoen wants to ignore-

...I think we all know what we must do right now, Zoen. We need to work on developing an effective strategy against the Ascension, as we can't leave this island until they are all destroyed.
Zoen Edwards (comms)
Grk...
Co-pilots (comms)
Ngh...
As Bijou says this firmly, Zoen and his co-pilots will be shown to be apprehensive about fighting, as they will have just seen dozens of Blockades getting destroyed by the Ascension earlier. Despite this, Zoen will be seen in his Blockade, as he will then look down while closing his eyes-muttering to himself so Bijou can't hear him-

...You say that as if it's easy to do...
A moment later, he will then open his eyes and then speak back to Bijou-
Zoen Edwards
But...you are right, Bijou. We should at least discuss with whomever can fight how to handle the enemies on this island. Once we do that, we can work on an effective strategy...but first, there is something important that I have to tell you soon...it's about Abigail, and what we should do as her friends...

Upon hearing of this come from Zoen, Bijou will then reply-

...Alright. I'll listen to what you have to say...!
Though Bijou says this quietly, suddenly, Zoen will be cut off, as before he can explain what he wanted to say-

...Hm? Is that one of the FOBs?

Hm?
Now, as the three Blockades come up to another intersection, across the street will be a large park that is overgrown with grass and small bushes. Surrounding this place will be many trees spiraling around many buildings, and as this area is reveled, hundreds of Blockades will already be present-standing by in their Block modes. While they are all shown to be lined upside-by-side against each other, the two Blockades next to the Liberty ErotiCake will not move, which will allow Bijou to ask Zoen a question-
Bijou Luisant
...Zoen? Before things continue, could you tell me what was it that you wanted to tell me?
Zoen Edwards
...Yeah.
Zoen will say this slowly, as it's obviously a very difficult subject to discuss. Nonetheless, he soon begins by saying-

What I wanted to tell you about was...how we should handle what happened to Abigail earlier...

!...
Upon remembering of what happened to Abigail, Bijou will fall silent, as she will remember the promise that she had made to Abigail...which is now a promise that she couldn't keep to her. Zoen continues speaking to Bijou over his comms-
Zoen Edwards
I was going to let the others know of this, but because of our comms not working right now, I'll have to just tell you for now. You see...Abigail-she...you never got to see what she was really like before this war began, but she was a strong person who always tried her best. She loved her family, as well as the place that she worked...and she was also deeply special to me...

Despite not having known Abigail for that long, Bijou will still feel Zoen's pain as he says this to her. Next to Zoen in his cockpit, his co-pilots will look at him solemnly, as he continues-
Zoen Edwards
However...right now, we have to put off our thoughts for her and concentrate on surviving until we complete this mission. ...It's hard to do...honestly, I want to cry for her right now...but, there will be time to mourn her passing properly...after we get off this island.
As Zoen says this, he does so in a strained voice, as his strong feelings for Abigail will be shown in how hard it is for him to say this. In response, Bijou will speak-
Bijou Luisant
...I agree with you, Zoen. We have to focus on the issue at hand, or else we'll just be putting not only ourselves, but others in harm's way...
Bijou says in a similarly strained tone, to which Zoen then replies-

Exactly. I'm happy that you understand, as I had worries that you would've been against my suggestion...
To this Bijou then replies-

Contrary to what most people think these days, not everyone who has a large checkbook is a heartless person who can't understand the loss of a human life means. I am thankfully not that kind of person.
As Bijou says this, a smile forms on Zoen's face, as he then speaks-

Heh...thanks...!
Just after Bijou and Zoen come to this agreement, suddenly, a beeping noise can be heard coming from Zoen's Blockade-
"BEEP BEEP"
Zoen Edwards
Hm?
As this happens, outside, all of the DIC Blockades will be shown to react to something-

A second later, one of Zoen's co-pilots then speaks to him-

...Hey, Zoen! We have control over our Blockade again!!
Zoen Edwards
Huh?!
Zoen says, as he then tests out his Co-Pilot's claim by gripping his controls in front of him. Just as his Co-Pilot says, they have now regained control over their Blockades, which also means that he can contact the Liberty ErotiCake to inform Bijou of this new development. A second later, Zoen does so, and-
Zoen Edwards (comms)
...Hey, Bijou? Can you hear me?
Bijou Luisant
Zoen? You can contact me now?
Zoen now explains-

Yeah. It looks like we have regained control over our Blockade again...but, why now, of all times...?
As Zoen says this, another view of the Blockades in the area will be shown, as they will now gradually come out of their Block modes and into their Blockade modes. As they do, they will now stand, as then, within Zoen's Blockade, another one of his Co-Pilots will then speak to him-
Co-Pilot #3
...! Hey, Zoen!! The radar is showing something...Gh!!
Zoen Edwards
What's wrong?!
Just as Zoen asks this, the Co-Pilot says-

It...it says that there's an enemy in that direction!!!

What?!
Now, outside of the park, the view will then move to across the city-where one of AA Blockades is seen. As it is reveled, it will be seen to be charging up its weapons, with a dazed look in its eyes-

Targeting...fire...!
A second later, it's weapons will then be charged up fully, to which it will then fire its weapons into the trees and buildings-
"LASER FIRE!!!!!"
As the beams travel through the buildings and trees in their way, they will soon reach the area where the DIC Blockades are, to which as the lasers connect with their armor, they will be knocked off their feet at the sheer force of the beams-
"BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!"

AAAARGHHHH?!

The beams do not destroy any of the Blockades that got hit at this time, as the blasts will simply knock them off their feet. Surprised by the sudden attack, Bijou and Zoen are surprised, as they stand in their Blockades outside of the blast zone. Zoen speaks-
Zoen Edwards
An attack?!
He says, as he remains confused at the situation. As this happens, Bijou then looks out to where the beam attacks are coming from, and then sees a few beam shots coming straight for his Blockade and the other Blockade nearby. She then reacts by shouting-
Bijou Luisant
!-Get down!!!
Zoen Edwards
?!
An instant later, Bijou then moves the Liberty ErotiCake to push down both Blockades and her onto the ground, thus saving Zoen and the other pilot from being hit by several beam attacks. As the barrage from the AA Blockade in the distance continues, another voice can be heard over the comms-
Devion Trevor (comms)
...To anyone who can hear my voice! If you don't want to die, then get your Blockades to stand up and start firing at the enemy in the distance!!
Bijou Luisant
!...Devion?!
Bijou says, as the carnage outside continues. Devion doesn't reply to her, as right now, they all need to fight back, as more beam attacks come from the distance towards them. In response, several random pilots are now shown in their Blockades-

...!
As they are reveled, some of them are shown to be shivering greatly, while others are crying-

"Crying"
However, in response to this, Devion will speak up again, saying-

I know that most of you are scared of fighting right now-especially after our Blockades moved on their own just now. I'm afraid too, but that doesn't mean that I'm just going to sit here and let these bastards kill me-not when I trained before now and have the capability to fight!!! So, stand up and FIGHT!!!!!
Random Pilots

Upon hearing Devion's cry to way, many of the pilots are now shown to slowly muster up the courage to do as Devion instructed and get their Blockades to stand up-
DIC Blockades
..."Standing up"
As they start to stand up, their main pilots are shown to start to grit their teeth, as they now show the will to survive this horrible situation. Some of them now speak, as they have their Blockades brace for combat-

...He's right. I can't let all of that training we did go to waste by dying in a place like this...
Random Pilot #2
If we don't fight back, then what was the point of us all coming out here in the first place?!
Some of them say, as they then aim their weapons at the oncoming beam attacks. As more and more Blockades stand up, several of them are shown to be wielding Kinetic Blasters, as within these Blockades, their pilots are also seen to become invigorated by Devion's call to action. They also speak out-

We can't let those terrorists kill us without a fight.
Random Pilot #4
We'll get these Kinetic Blasters ready for you right away-
They say to their Main pilots, whom then have their Blockades pick up and ready their Kinetic Blasters. As they do so, a moment later, most of them now begin to fire back everything they've got into the area that's attacking them-
DIC Pilots
HUUUUAAAAAH!!!!!
They shout, as they begin firing their weapons into the distance. While most of their attacks do not make it through the debris caused by the attacks from the AA Blockade, some of their attacks and Kinetic strikes do hit the AA Blockade. However, the damage is minimal, as the AndroIs within speaks-
AndroIs #2
...Damage to Curtain Barriers minimal. Proceeding to...continue bombarding this area, while AndroIs #3 does the same in his area...!
It says, as over it's shoulder to it's left, similar explosions will occur in the distance-hinting that another group of DIC Blockades have come under attack from another enemy. Back with Zoen and Bijou, they will speak, as the Liberty ErotiCake stands up alongside the Blockade that Zoen is piloting-
Bijou Luisant
...Zoen? Are you ok?!
Bijou asks, to which Zoen soon replies-
Zoen Edwards
...Yeah. Thanks for the save back there, as that would've caused some major damage if it hit.

Don't mention it.
As Bijou says this, the other Blockade that she just saved will now be seen to help the Liberty ErotiCake stand up. As this happens, another familiar voice will then speak out to her from this Blockade, as inside, it's-

...I also owe you my thanks for saving us in here, Ms. Luisant.

!-Amy!! Is that you in that Blockade?!
Bijou asks, as Amy is then shown in her cockpit along with her Co-Pilots. She replies-

Yeah. Sorry for not replying sooner, but the comms didn't unlock until just a moment ago for us in here.
Amy says, as she now has her Blockade stand up in front of Bijou's Liberty ErotiCake. Back inside of the Liberty ErotiCake, Bijou will then speak, as the scene of battle plays out in front of them-

Ghh...this is...
Bijou is unable to put into words as to what she is seeing right now, as the scene of actual battle occurring right in front of her will be brutal. While the DIC Blockades are plentiful and their armor is durable, under sustained long-range enemy attacks the armor will start to melt, and then seconds later, they will fall over themselves and then erupt in an enormous explosion-
"EXPLOUSION!!!!!"
As several more explosions follow from other Blockades in the area, more and more will be destroyed-while their attacks will not so much as put even a dent into the AA Blockade attacking them from across the city. Bijou takes notices of this, and then speaks-

Dammit!!! The range in-between our Blockades and the enemy is too great!! Their attacks can't get past all that debris!!!
Bijou says, as she watches the DIC Blockades in the area futilely fire everything they got-while standing perfectly still in the park. As she watches this, Devion's voice will then come over the comms, saying exactly what Bijou just said-
Devion Trevor (comms)
...Attention everyone who can hear my voice!! The distance between us and the enemy up ahead is too great, as our weapons are doing that much damage!!! We need to move around the streets that lead to the enemy and then fire everything that we've got!!!! Follow me!!!!
He shouts, as a single Blockade is now seen to charge forward-heading into the streets that lead to the AA Blockade. As he goes, several more DIC Blockades follow suit, as back with Bijou, Zoen and Amy, they will hear his words and then react-

...C'mon, you two. We have to follow and help them out.
Zoen says, as he then begins to move his Blockade forward. Amy and Bijou then reply-

R-right. We'll come along...

!...Alright.
As Bijou gets the Liberty ErotiCake moving, she will then have a sudden thought, as she then speaks to herself-

Ah...I should also get the Liberty Blaster charged, as we might need it...
She says, as she then starts the charging process for the Liberty Blaster. Around her, she will press a few buttons, which will then begin charging the Liberty Blaster on the Liberty ErotiCake's back. As this occurs, Bijou will then have the Liberty ErotiCake move forward, in order to catch up to Zoen and Amy-as the sounds of battle continue all around them.
As the battle continues in the city, the group of DIC Blockades that were originally in the park now start to close the distance between them and the AA Blockade, which does not move from its position. As they fire their weapons in its general direction, it's Curtain Barriers do start to take some damage from some Kinetic Weapons, which in turn causes the AA Blockade to take some damage from all of the attacks coming at it. Inside of the cockpit, the AndroIs then speaks to itself-
"EXPLOUSIONS!!!!!"

...Damage to Curtain Barriers at 10% and rising. Now...is the time to begin...!
As it prepares something, the view then cuts to show the many DIC Blockades attacking it outside. Here, Devion and his Co-Pilots will be seen in their Blockade, as he is still firing at the AA Blockade nearby-
"SHOOTING!!!"

Grrr...
Devion is seen to grit his teeth intensely, as he fires his primary and secondary weapons at the AA Blockade. As other Blockades join him in the assault by firing their missiles at the AA Blockade, inside, the AndroIs will then react to something above it by looking upwards-

Now, several beam attacks will rain down from above the area where the AA Blockade is standing on the ground-destroying the incoming missiles-
"EXPLOUSIONS!!!!!"
In response, Devion and everyone around him are shown to be in shock, as they then look above them-

WHAT??!
A second later, the AA Blockade in the air will then react by moving its limbs. As it does, several weapons ports will be shown to be glowing, as within, the AndroIs is seen to speak-

...Targets...locked on...firing-
It says, as it then takes aim at many DIC Blockades below and then fires it's beam weapons down at them. As they soon connect with many damaged Blockades below, their pilots are seen to scream out-

GUAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
"EXPLOUSIONS!!!!!"
Moments later, their Blockades, having took considerable damage already from the attacks before, will not be able to withstand any more further attacks. Thus, their Blockades armor will now be breached, causing the beams to cut through their entire Blockades-destroying them soon afterwards. As several more DIC Blockades are destroyed in the streets, they now start to be destroyed by the dozens...and then by the hundreds, as Devion and a few Blockades near him are seen-

Damn it!!! We can't keep this up-

Devion!!! We have to pull back!!!
She says, as the attacks from above are too much. However, before Devion can reply, another of his Co-Pilots cries out-

Look out!!!
Devion Trever
Huh?!
Devion says, as outside of his cockpit to his right, several other Blockades will be destroyed-
"EXPLOUSIONS!!!!!"
Just after this occurs, he and his Co-Pilots will then look up, to see-
-INCOMING BEAM ATTACK-
As Devion and his Co-Pilots with him in his Blockade see the incoming beam attacks coming straight for their Blockade, they will have no time to react, as the beams will be just a few meters away from them. In just those few moments, Devion and his Co-Pilots will be shown one more time, as their faces will be that of scared men and women. As they watch the beams connect with their Blockade, the beams will cut through the cockpit cleanly in an instant, as Devion's body is then seen-
Devion Trevor
....Ah...h....
Devion now slowly looks down at his body, which has a huge hole in it-where his torso used to be. As his vision starts to fade away, he then slumps over in his seat, as a second later, his Blockade explodes-killing him and his Co-Pilots-
"EXPLOUSION!!!!!"
Nearby, Bijou, Amy and Zoen arrive nearby-just in time to see his Blockade get destroyed. As they see this, Amy speaks up-

!...DEVION!!!
As Amy screams this out on her comms from her Blockade, both Zoen and Bijou react with surprise-
Zoen Edwards
What?!
Bijou Luisant
Devion was...that was Devion's Blockade?!
Bijou says this in disbelief, as she can't believe what Amy just said to her over the comms. An instant later, the flying AA Blockade that just destroyed hundreds of Blockades-including Devion's Blockade, will then land nearby them, creating a loud stomp-
"STOMP!!!!"

Rgh!!!

As the AA Blockade looms over Bijou and her friends, it's head section lights up, reveling a menacing red glow-

As it looms over Bijou and the other two, within the Liberty ErotiCake, Bijou will be seen to be deeply afraid of it, as she stutters to say-

Ah...gah...
As Bijou's eyes dilate, sweat will form on her forehead, as she then has the Liberty ErotiCake take a step back. Outside, within the AA Blockade, the AndroIs will now be shown to be taking a keen look at the three Blockades below it-
AndroIs #1
...
As it looks at the three Blockades below, within it's eyes, it will now be shown that someone in another location is in control of it's actions right now. As this person is shown in shadows, she will not speak, as she will just act-
??? (SYSTEM-DESTINY)
...!
Back with the AndroIs, it will then target the ground in-between the three Blockades below it, as it will then fire its weapons below-
"BEAM ATTACK"

A second later, the beam connects with the ground in-between everyone, which causes an enormous explosion that knocks the three Blockades into the air. As they are hurled away, Bijou screams out-

EEEEEEEEK!!!!!
She screams, as the Liberty ErotiCake is flung into the side of a building. As it crashes inside, outside, the two Blockades that are piloted by Zoen and Amy land some ways across from each other, as the AA Blockade then approaches...Zoen's Blockade first-as it crashes into the ground-
"CRASH!!!!!"
Zoen Edwards
GUAH!!!!
Co-Pilots
DUAH!!!!
As the AA Blockade approaches him and his Co-Pilots in their Blockade, with each step it takes, it causes a loud "Stomp" sound to occur-
"STOMP!!".."STOMP!!!".."STOMP!!!!".."STOMP!!!!!"
Zoen Edwards
Grk!!! Dammit!!!!
Zoen now struggles to get his Blockade to stand up, as he then speaks to his Co-Pilots-
Zoen Edwards
You guys!! Fire the missiles as soon as I get us to stand up!!!
Co-Pilots
?!
As Zoen shouts this, his Co-Pilots react with shock. But as their Blockade stands up, Zoen shouts again-
Zoen Edwards
Do it!!! NOW!!!!
Co-Pilots
!
Without even thinking, the Co-Pilots within do as they are told. As missiles fly out of the shoulders of Zoen's Blockade, he then has it raise up its assault rifle, as he then screams-
Zoen Edwards
Take it all with you!!!!
"RATATATATATATA"
He shouts, as he fires his assault rifle at the AA Blockade-while the missiles fly towards the AA Blockade. However, while his attacks do travel through the holes caused by the Kinetic Blaster shots earlier, they are simply not powerful enough to cause enough damage to harm the AA Blockade. In response to this attack, the AndroIs within speaks to itself-
AndroIs #1
...Damage minimal. Preparing to...erase...!
It says, as it charges up it's weapons once more. As they fire towards Zoen, he isn't able to move, as he then speaks as the beams connect with his Blockade and begin to melt the armor-
Zoen Edwards
DAMMIT!!!! ABIGAIL, FORGIVE ME-
He says, as the beams melt through his Blockade's armor and then pierce through the cockpit. As this happens, everyone inside screams out-
Zoen Edwards/Co-Pilots
AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! GAHHHHHHH!!!-
They shout, as within a few more moments, they then disappear in a flash of blue. As the beams then comes out of their Blockade's back, it then falls to its knees and then soon erupts-
"EXPLOUSION!!!!!"
Across the way, behind the AA Blockade that was just flying, Amy will be seen to only now get her Blockade up, as it is seen on its side. As it looks at the explosion, Amy then says in disbelief-

No-Zoen!!!
Suddenly, a loud stomp then occurs, as a leg stands in front of Amy's Blockade-
"STOMP!!!!"
Amy Annison
Eh?!!
Co-Pilots
?!
An instant later, the other AA Blockade now stands right in front of Amy's Blockade, which is on its hands and knees. As it stands, Amy then quickly turns on the speakers, as she now proceeds to say-

.....Please, don't...
A second later, the AA Blockade then raises its leg up-getting ready to crush Amy's Blockade. In response, Amy speaks again-

PLEASE!!! DON"T!!!!
Her pleas fall on deaf ears, as a second later, the AA Blockade then lowers it's leg down onto the back of Amy's Blockade. The weight of the AA Blockade is so immense that it soon crushes Amy and her Co-Pilots, causing them to scream out in pain-

AHHHRRGHHHHHH!!!!!
Co-Pilots
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
As they are shown, their seats are soon seen to be pushed forward and onto their monitors, which proceeds to crush their chests with great force. As the horrible scene continues, outside, the AA Blockade applies even more force, which soon causes Amy's cockpit section to be seen crushed as if it were a pancake. Moments later, an explosion follows, killing Amy and her Co-Pilots as well-but the explosion leaves the legs intact-
"EXPLOUSION!!!!!"
As Amy's Blockade explodes as well, back with the Liberty ErotiCake, it now gets itself out of the debris it was flung into, as it then knees on the ground. Inside, Bijou is seen, horrified as what has just happened to her friends-

Ah...eh...
As Bijou sits in her seat, she can't believe her eyes, as in just a few minutes, both Zoen and Amy have been killed right in front of her. As she stutters in her seat, the two AA Blockade now loom over the Liberty ErotiCake-

Before they can attack the Liberty ErotiCake, suddenly, several Kinetic Blaster shots impact the AA Blockade that just killed Zoen, causing it's Curtain Barrier emitters along the front of its body to be destroyed-which in turn revel the front section to attacks. Seconds later, many missiles and gunshots fly into the AA Blockade, causing considerable damage to its body. As this occurs, the AndroIs within speaks-

It says, as the AA Blockade behind it is then seen. This AndroIs now reacts differently, as it then speaks-

As it says this, it then makes it's AA Blockade rise into the air-but instead of firing its weapons down at the attacking DIC Blockades approaching it, it instead moves back the way it came and then retreats from the area-leaving AndroIs #2 alone to fight against the remaining DIC Blockades.
After this is shown, the AA Blockade on the ground then takes a few steps back, as suddenly, two DIC Blockades rush up to the Liberty ErotiCake and then take its hands. As they make it stand up, two voices call out to Bijou on the comms-

As Bijou hears Dr. Ivon and Harold's voices, she reacts without even thinking, as she then gets the Liberty ErotiCake standing, which allows for both Dr. Ivon and Harold to have their Blockades run ahead of the Liberty ErotiCake-while holding onto its hands. As this happens, the AndroIs in the AA Blockade speaks, as it tries to take aim at the Liberty ErotiCake's back-

Just as it says this, it will then be cut off, as several more Blockades will then cut it's line of sight off. The way that these Blockades move will be much more skilled than their civilian counterparts, which Bijou will take notice of, as the Liberty ErotiCake continues to run away with Harold and Dr. Ivon-

She says, as these Blockades are now shown to fire their weapons at the AA Blockade's exposed areas. In response, the AA Blockade then charges it's weapons up and fires at them, but unlike before where the DIC Blockades would've stood in place, the pilots of these Blockades are now shown to be skilled enough to evade the AA Blockades beam attacks. As this happens, the AndroIs is seen to be surprised in its cockpit-

As the DIC Blockades in the area continue to pummel away against it. With it's Curtain Barriers crippled, the DIC now stand an actual chance to destroy a AA Blockade, as elsewhere in the area, the Liberty ErotiCake will lean against the backside of a random building while kneeling down-as Dr. Ivon and Harold have their Blockades stand near it. Another Blockade with a Kinetic Blaster next to it is also seen briefly near where the Liberty ErotiCake is kneeling, as inside, Bijou is still saddened by the deaths of Zoen and Amy-

She says to herself, as her face is seen. Tears start to form in her eyes, as she thinks about how Zoen and Amy, along with Devion and Abigail just died in front of her. However, just before she cries, Harold contacts her on her comms-

As Bijou takes notice of Harold speaking to her, her tears fly off her face, as several loud explosions occur further behind their Blockade. Harold continues speaking to Bijou-

Ms. Luisant...I know you are sad about what happened to Zoen and Amy just now. We couldn't arrive any sooner in time to save them, but we can't think about that right now, as we have to keep moving!!

Dr. Ivon snaps this at Bijou over her comms, which surprises her a little. However, it's that kind of shock that will jolt Bijou back into reality, as she will recall what Zoen's words to her were-and what her response was-

However...right now, we have to put off our thoughts for her and concentrate on surviving until we complete this mission. ...It's hard to do...honestly, I want to cry for her right now...but, there will be time to mourn her passing properly...after we get off this island.
As Zoen says this, he does so in a strained voice, as his strong feelings for Abigail will be shown in how hard it is for him to say this. In response, Bijou will speak-

As Bijou says this, she will now notice the other Blockade near her, as it's close enough to her that she could hop out of her cockpit and jump over to the Blockade near her. As she notices it, Harold then speaks out to her-

He says, as his Blockade reacts to the Liberty ErotiCake standing up. As it does, Bijou then sees the Blockade near her in greater detail-

...That Blockade...it has a Kinetic Blaster, doesn't it...
As Bijou says this, the Blockade in question is reveled once more. It is sitting down with it's back against the side of the building, while it's Kinetic Blaster is sitting on the ground to it's right. It is also now seen to be gripping onto the Kinetic Blaster next to it-which is also connected to it, to which a second later, the foot of the Liberty ErotiCake steps next to it, as Bijou then contacts the Blockade in front of her via her comms like before-

As Bijou speaks this, she will get no reply from the Blockade in front of her-

In response, Bijou will then unrestrain herself from her seat, as she then brings the Liberty ErotiCake closer to the cockpit of the Blockade in front of her. As she does this, Harold calls out to her-

He says, trying to get Bijou to stay put in her cockpit. However, Bijou will not listen to him, as she then says-

Just give me one minute to check on the pilots in that Blockade. I'll convince them to come with us, so we don't lose them...and that Kinetic Blaster.
Bijou says, caring for not only the Kinetic Blaster, but also the lives of the people inside of the Blockade. As her cockpit then opens, she then hops out, as around her, many more explousions and gunfire can be heard closeby-

Bijou has to cover her ears for a moment at how loud the fighting is just behind the buildings that they are all hiding behind. A moment later, she then easily hops over to the cockpit of the Blockade that has a Kinetic Blaster, as she then speaks towards it's cockpit-

Now, within the cockpit of the Blockade, 5 girls are seen to be it's pilots. Each of them have tears falling off their faces, as they will be shown to be extremely scared of fighting. Their sad faces shock Bijou, as she then speaks to the main pilot, who looks at Bijou with a look of fear on her face-

A few moments later, Bijou kneels inside to speak to this girl-softly-

The girl in front of Bijou doesn't reply at first, as she is extremely scared at the moment, but after Bijou explains herself, she then starts to speak-

As the girl says this, Bijou then smiles, as she replies-

Alright. We'll take it from here. I'm going to get back into my Blockade and help you get to safety, alright?
Bijou says, as she moves herself out of the cockpit. As she does, the girl then speaks to her-

After that, Bijou then moves away from the cockpit of the Blockade and then hops back over to the Liberty ErotiCake. As she gets back inside, the cockpit of the Blockade away from her closes, to which Bijou then has just enough time to get herself back into her seat, before-

Now, above where the four Blockades are, the building will be breached by several lasers, which will cause several explousions to erupt from the area. As large amounts of debris begin to fall downwards, Bijou reacts immeadiatly, as both Harold and Dr. Ivon move away-

Bijou shouts, as she then proceeds to move the Liberty ErotiCake to grab the hand of the Blockade in front of her. As she pulls it backwards, it stands up and then grabs the Kinetic Blaster as it does so, to which the Liberty ErotiCake then moves away from the area where the falling debris would've landed. As the large chuncks crash into the area where everyone was just at, the area will be coated in dust and small debris-
"CRASH!!!!!"
Afterwards, with the building that everyone was hiding behind now destroyed, the battle ahead will be seen. The AA Blockade will be crippled heavily now, as it's front Curtain Barrier emiters will be destroyed-but even still it will still be able to retaliate against the many DIC Blockades attacking it in the area. It will simply move it's arms to protect it's more vital areas while attacking countless DIC Blockades, and as they are destroyed by the dozens, back behind the buildings, the Liberty ErotiCake will be seen-

The voice of the girl that Bijou met earlier will now be heard, as she says the same thing over and over and over again. As this is happening, Dr. Ivon and Harold will connect to Bijou's Blockade, saying-

...Hey, Ms. Luisant. Stay here with the girls, as we'll take over things from here-

As Dr. Ivon says this, he will move his Blockade's hand to rip out the cords that connect the Kinetic Blaster to the Blockade piloted by the young girls. Harold then speaks-

As we fight off that AA Blockade, try to get the girls away from here...
He says, implying that he and Dr. Ivon will sacrifice themselves-just so that Bijou and the girls can get away. In response, Bijou will reply-

Wait! I'll come with you, as I've been having the Liberty Blaster charge up this entire time-
She says, as she will check the charge on one of her monitors. As she does, she will relay that information to Dr. Ivon and Harold-

The charge is already past 20%. With that, once we destroy more of the Curtain Barriers, I can destroy that monster and end this battle!
As Bijou says this, both Harold and Dr. Ivon will reply to her-

Dr. Ivon says, as he now hooks up the Kinetic Blaster to his Blockade. He has to connect the wires he just took out of the previous Blockade to his Blockades' waist area, to which once they plug in, Dr. Ivon speaks to one of his Co-Pilots-

He says, as his Blockade then looks at Harold's Blockade outside. In the distance, the AA Blockade notices them and approaches, to which Dr. Ivon then speaks over the comms to Harold-

Harold! Provide me with some cover fire, as I need to get this weapon set up before I can fire!!

As they say this, Harold will then move his Blockade foward, in front of the other three Blockades-while firing his weapons madly at the approaching AA Blockade. As it fires it's back weapons at several more DIC Blockades and destroyes them, it will have it's eyes trained on every Blockade in the area-including the ones piloted by Bijou, Harold, Dr. Ivon and the girls. As it targets them with it's front weapons, the AndroIs speaks-

...Satisfactory number of DIC Blockades...destroyed... Now, this AndroIs can...
As it says this, it will stop moving suspiciously-but it will keep firing it's weapons in all directions-except the front where Bijou, Harold, Dr. Ivon and the girls are. As this happens, Dr. Ivon sees an oppertunity to fire his Kinetic Weapon at the AA Blockade, to which he will take-

Hmph...It's just standing there, thinking it can kill so many people...I'll show you!!!
He says while grinning, as he sees this as an easy invitation to destroy the Curtain Barriers of the AA Blockade. He then speaks to Bijou-

Ms. Luisant!! Get ready to fire the Liberty Blaster!!!

Back with Bijou, the Liberty ErotiCake is still underneath the Blockade that she saved, to which she will then speak to it's pilots-

She says, as she then has the Liberty ErotiCake move the Blockade ontop of it aside. The girls inside allow this and then stand up nearby, as the Liberty ErotiCake then gets onto it's feet. As it does, Bijou then engages the Liberty Blaster and aims it at the AA Blockade. However, as she does this, Bijou speaks to herself-

...? That's odd...why isn't that AA Blockade moving?
She asks, as ahead of them, while the AA Blockade is still firing it's weapons in all directions EXCEPT for the area where Bijou and her friends are in, it will also not be moving-as if setting itself up to be destroyed by Bijou. However, Bijou won't have time to hear a reply to her question or delve further into the situation, as Dr. Ivon then speaks to her-

Ms. Luisant!! I'm ready to fire!!! Get ready!!!

A second later, Dr. Ivon then fires his Kinetic Blaster at the AA Blockade, which as it travels across the area, it will soon connect with the AA Blockade's Curtain Barriers. As it does, the emiters that protected the front side of the AA Blockade will now come off completely, to which as this happens, the AA Blockade will fall onto one of it's knees. An instant later, Dr. Ivon will shout to Bijou-

Now!!! Fire the Liberty Blaster!!!!

Without even thinking, Bijou will fire the Liberty Blaster directly at the AA Blockade in front of her. However, as the beam comes out and travels across the area, the signal that was over the AndroIs will then cease, as it will regain it's former glow in it's eyes-

As this happens, it will see the beam coming from the Liberty ErotiCake ahead of it, as well as the two Blockades near it belonging to both Dr. Ivon and Harold, to which it will then raise up it's Blockades' arms to target Dr. Ivon and Harold. As the beam from the Liberty Blaster conects with it's cockpit, the AndroIs will fire it's weapons at both Dr. Ivon and Harold at the exact same time-
"BOOOOOOOM!!!!!"

Just before the AA Blockade is destroyed, the beams will travel out of the AA Blockade and crash into their Blockades-just as the AA Blockade starts to erupt. A few moments later, all three Blockades will be eradicated, as three explousions occurs-

As this happens, Bijou and the Blockade nearby disappear in a flash of light. Then, the chapter end.
