Peter Brown and the others were on a private jet, which refueled at an airport midway before flying directly to Bapton. The journey was smooth, and the plane landed safely, allowing everyone to breathe a sigh of relief.
"We've arrived." Maurren Smith nudged Peter with her elbow.
Throughout the trip, Maurren was somewhat unhappy. Even though there was a beautiful woman in front of him, Peter just sat there, reading an English dictionary tirelessly.
What annoyed Maurren the most was that he seemed to be flipping through the dictionary, going through one after another. He finished all the thick dictionaries that were in the bag.
During these hours, Peter did practically nothing but read the dictionary. He also listened to English content, as if he were really learning.
Maurren didn't believe that Peter was memorizing words. She thought he was just pretending.
