Perseus drove the guild wagon away from the merchant guild with a smile on his face. He was now officially registered in the guild and could now open up shops and even merchant companies.
Perseus let out a small laugh as he drove the guild wagon down the streets. He had heard that Jason and Jack were already going for the last two territories while he was registering from Boops. He would have loved to join, but he had 10 young guild members riding in the wagon behind him enjoying the views of the city.
Perseus drove through the merchant district thinking about what he needed to do today. He noticed that many players could be seen wandering the streets of Herdita. Some were standing on the sides of the streets selling items and drops while others wandered around in groups that Perseus could only assume were their party members.
Also, an auction house was unlocked for this city which Perseus planned to take advantage of. Though players knew about auction houses since most capitals of kingdoms and empires had them. It was still a momentous thing to see one open up in Herdita. It meant that Herdita was slowly getting as popular as capital cities.
Perseus also had something in his inventory that he wasn't too sure how to use. It was the reward from the system for getting over 100 guild members.
The (guild blacksmith token)
He took it out of his inventory and held it up to the sun.
It was a white token with a black hammer in the middle. Swirly gold lines were carved in spreading out of the hammer. Persues had no idea if the token's inscription meant anything, but it did look cool so he appreciated it.
Perseus had tried to figure out what it would do. Maybe something like the guild house one where he could get one for free? Or was it a person? Persues had no clue and the only way it seems he was going to be able to figure out ways to go to the adventures guild.
So that was where Perseus was headed for. The sun was still up in the sky and wouldn't set for a few more hours, hopefully Perseus would have enough time to fit in this little trip and the promised fishing trip that the guild members behind him were looking forward to.
Perseus snapped the reigns to increase the speed and soon they were quickly trotting along.
Some players stared at the player who was driving a cart full of young boys who were innocently poking their heads over the sides watching everything pass by them. Some were jealous of the wagon that Perseus had. Transportation was still hard to get in WOW for a player and cost lots of money.
While they were driving along Persues heard the audible sound of a stomach growling. Turning around he saw one of the young guild members holding his stomach in embarrassment.
Persues couldn't help but let out a small suppressed chuckle and tossed him a bit of jerky that Jason had made. The young guild member happily bit into it while the rest of the guild members looked at Perseus with a slightly envious look. Of course, none of them would say anything about it.
But Perseus could feel their stares and leaned back to gently place a small platter of beef jerky on the wagon floor. Perseus bit his finger up to his lips and whispered.
"don't tell Natalie about this alright? she'll make you eat double the amount of salad if she finds out"
All of the guild members furiously nodded their heads and started to feast as the guild wagon finally pulled up in front of the adventures guild. Thankfully it was close to the merchant guild.
Perseus made sure that the guild members were satiated and jumped off the wagon walking into the guild.
The moment he entered the familiar building with its sloping wooden arches tables filled with people wearing all sorts of amour. The windows on the second floor that let light stream down. The sound of food being eaten as people loudly drank to their successes.
Perseus saw some players there too. But he didn't have enough time to observe everything. He walked over to the receptionist desk and placed down the token. He looked up at the receptionist who he had met multiple times when he turned in the guild members' herbs and other quest completion items, he looked up and smile.
"hi, you think you can figure out what this token does?"
The receptionist's face turned red and she shyly lowered her head and reached out for the white token.
She let out a small hmmm before turning around and briskly walking into a room in the back. She was so absorbed with looking at the token that she forgot to say anything to Perseus who patiently waited for her.
It took her a few minutes, but she finally popped her head out of the room and said to Perseus with a bright red face.
"I'm going to find a reference, please wait here!"
Perseus nodded and decided to start sorting the items in his inventory. Sadly it wasn't unlimited like Jason's inventory, but it had many useful functions that regular players didn't have. Apparently direct subordinates of Jason gained some special benefits such as having access to Boops. Perseus wasn't too sure what those benefits were since he was born with them and couldn't understand all of them yet.
While Perseus was sorting through the potions that Arjuna had gifted them in reality. The receptionist ran over to Perseus carrying a huge book. The book looked dusty and old and when she placed it on the desk, a small puff of dust rose from it.
Coughing she slowly waved off the cloud and opened the book holding the token in her hand as she paged through it.
Perseus stopped organizing the potions and peeked over curious as to what she was referencing.
The receptionist saw Perseus leaning his head over and let out a small laugh while explaining
"a long time ago when the great war was fought, great hero's emerged saving all of humanity, when it was all over the earth godesss rewarded them with tokens. The adventures guild which was at that time under its jurisdiction was the one that redeemed them. Those tokens could be redeemed for something special like a guild house for instanace or even a legendary weapon. Most of the hero's used them, but a few have been passed down from generation to generation, some are even given by the earth goddess herself"
The receptionist flipped through another large stack of pages her eyes scanning through the list of tokens.
"the adventures guild has a duty to turn in and redeem those tokens, It is our way of saying thank you to those great heroes who saved our race from extinction many ages ago."
Perseus leaned his elbows against the counter intrigued
"What happens if somebody makes a fake copy?"
The receptionist laughed and shook her head.
"and face the wrath of the earth goddess herself? impossible, besides each of the tokens reacts to one specific spell, now if I can just find which token this is.... ah! here it is"
The receptionist placed the token on the table and put her hand over the token muttering a few words.

The token lit up under the soft grey glow that emanated from the receptionist's hand. The hammer on the token started to project the black hammer onto the counter with the white background shining and sparkling like stars.
The receptionist let out a smile
"ah! the blacksmith token, given by the earth goddess to the new and upcoming blacksmith hero. It's redeemable for an entire brand new blacksmith. We build it on the spot so it will take us a while to finish."
The receptionist closed the book and asked Perseus
"now, where would you like the blacksmith to be made, granted the location has to be a place that you own"
[please choose what location you want the blacksmith to be made at]
A blue map with 2 small green dots on them.
Perseus looked at the map and saw that the guild house and the slaver traders mansion were the things highlighted.
Perseus gave a few seconds of though as he looked at the map. He could have put it on the mansion, but he didn't really want to palce it there.
But Perseus decided to put it on the guild house. He had a few quest items to use for a blacksmith and wanted to be as close as he could to it.
He pressed the green spot on the map which was right outside of the city situated it the forest.
[would you like to create a blacksmith here?]
[yes/no]
Perseus pressed the yes.
The receptionsit smiled and took the token.
"We will immediatly send out men to create the blacksmith"
Persues smiled and nodded his head.
