New Class?

Arjuna stared at the gnome master who was currently talking with a hooded figure in an intense and serious fashion. Arjuna had gotten to the Archery guild early this time since his alchemy teacher Cadmus was out today. It seems that his sudden disappearance sparked many upset families to ask the Alchemy guild for answers, to which they answered that Cadmus was going to an important meeting.

So yeah, he got to the archery guild a bit earlier than usual. It had been a few days since he had started to get taught by the gnome master, but for every single class so far, the master just lectured him in the basics that he already knew. He tried his best to listen to the lecture, but his attention span started to waver and shorten after, doing work in the fields in the morning having another hard and laborious lecture at noon, then having to do some adventurer's guild stuff.

The staff at the adventurous guild were pretty nice though, the receptionist gave him good quests and even paid extra for the herbs that he delivered saying that they were collected in a way that made them more valuable. Which, Arjuna had no idea about, perhaps it was a side effect of the herb gathering skill that was already level 7, but Arjuna didn't look too much into it, he had other things on his plate.

Arjuna sat down on a wooden chair in the middle of the lecture room. The lecture room in the archery guild was fairly large able to fit in hundreds of people at once. Arjuna didn't know why he was the only one in the room when he was getting lectured, but he didn't care.

The gnome master, master Sninkkaakac if Arjuna heard the nice receptionist lady address him correctly was having a long discussion with the hooded figure. Jason had no idea who the hooded figure was with, but the fact that Sninkkaakac had lowed his bow and had even slipped it back onto his shoulder told Arjuna that he wasn't an enemy. Perhaps Arjuna was a bit too trusting, but after seeing that the two were in a heavy conversation and judging from Sninkkaakac's face, the conversation wasn't his business. So he laid his head on the table in front of him and started to sleep.

The moment Arjuan's head touched the table his eyes started to grow heavy and soon his breathing shallower and he drifted off to dreamland.

Arjuna opened his eyes to see himself lying down on the side of a grassy hill. He stood up instantly and tried to grab his bow. It wasn't hanging on Arjuna's waist like usual, which freaked him out. Arjuna looked around the place unsure of where he was.

What Arjuna didn't know was that he was dreaming, but since this was the first time he had ever dreamed in his life, it was a surreal and also scary experience.

Arjuna definitely became much more cautious after noticing that he was transported to another place. But then again looking again at the place he was in. The warm gentle sun shining down on the raising hill that he was on. The blue sky that looked like a painting with wisps of clouds that floated across the sky.

Arjuna quickly ran up to the top of the hill. Well, it was more like a mini mountain because he was pretty high up. A single tree was on the top of the hill. Arjuna briefly looked at it. It was a tree with a large thick trunk and branches that acted as a canopy. Arjuna walked to the tree trunk and leaned against it for support. He gazed down at the land below him.

Green, that was what covered most of Arjuna's view of the ground. Grass that swayed in the wind and the occasional burst of color. Arjuna saw plains that spread for miles and miles. Arjuna couldn't see the exact end of the plains, but in the distance, he could see mountains that rose out of the ground. They were very far away so Arjuna could only see them in a blue haze. But he could definitely see some snow in the mountains.

A bright sandy color caught Arjuna's eye as he swept them back and forth through the view. He started to see a stream of the same color like they were connected. Before long he recognized that it was a road and slapped himself on the head since it should have been obvious. He followed the trail until he saw a town. It was mostly brown, with the occasional candlelight burning out from one of the wooden houses.

There were moving colored blobs that Arjuna assumed were humans, just living their lives. Arjuna yawned and continued looking around. He was enjoying this, whatever it was, just standing at a high point and observing life had to be one of the coolest things ever in Arjuna's opinion.

Arjuna was just basking in the silence and solitude of the place for a bit, then another thing caught his eye, which after looking at it for a bit, he wished he never saw.

Near one of the mountains just before the plains dissipated from his view, was a faint structure. Well, it could exactly be called a structure. It was more like a ruin.

It was a tower, much like the wizard tower his Master had gone into to face the intelligence trial. This time though it was completely in ruins with the top half looking like it could fall down and seconds with holes and cracks riddled everywhere.

Arjuna couldn't see much at this distance, but at the ground beneath the tower was what, what Arjuna would describe as a battlefield of carnage. Even from here, he could see splotches of red everywhere. The sun shined off of the weapons so it looked like a multitude of stars. And the last thing that Arjuna tried to focus on was a large skeleton, perched up on the top of the tower. It had wings, definitely, he could tell because they were raised up in a menacing fashion, but anything else wasn't clear.

Arjuna's mood got ruined a bit since that's what view a battlefield does to you, but during the period when he was just enjoying the land and the solitude of the mini-mountain, brought him much joy. It was like he was connecting with nature itself as he viewed the land.

Arjuna didn't know that he was currently dreaming, Boops could see what he was dreaming, but he was busy, yelling at Jason to keep on swinging his sword so he couldn't check.

Arjuna pushed himself off of the tree trunk that he was leaning on and walked to the very edge of the hill. The wind conveniently started to pick up, blowing against Arjuna's black hair and showing off his pristine features.

His cloak started to get pushed up by the wind lifting and showing off all of the gear Arjuna had underneath it.

A belt of shining daggers and potions along with a strap that concealed something in it. All sorts of metal buckles and rings were fastened on the conspicuous armor that held all of the hidden gear Arjuna had. Last but not least was a pouch that held all of Arjuna's potions. What those potions were, was a mystery. Even if the dream for some reason didn't transport his bow and quiver he could still manage a fight.

Arjuna's master had given him permission to not immediately make an adventurer's group or guild, but that didn't mean that he was going to be useless. Far from it, in fact with the money that he had gained from repeating the cycle of, gathering herbs, potion-making, archery lesson's and selling herbs Arjuna had gained enough money to get himself gear. He didn't know what he was going to face, and sure he might be along for a bit because of his circumstances. But he Arjuna, was a warrior, where it be in gathering herbs or taking lessons. He would fight for his master. And now gazing at the magnificent view and the town that was bustling with movement.

Arjuna finally had something else that he wanted to fight for and find.

Arjuna's body started to fade, he looked at his hands that slowly turned transparent. He didn't know what was happening to him but he felt at peace while watching his body fade, it was like he knew what was going to happen to him and that he would be fine.

Arjuna already started to like the place that he was in. It was like Jason's special place by the river except it was so much more important to him than that. It even started to feel like a home to Arjuna.

Again Arjuna was dreaming, but that didn't mean that the place didn't exist somewhere, perhaps it existed like Jason's mind space and was in Arjuna's head. Whatever it was, Arjuna wanted to protect it even if it may not even exist. No, perhaps Arjuna was fighting to protect his dream all along.

[Your subordinate Arjuna has gained the traits of a $^%^&]

[Your subordinate has found something he wants to protect +10 points]

[Your subordinate had found the #$%^^&* world]

While Perseus swore to protect, Arjuna swore to fight. The two didn't know yet what the other twin had sworn, perhaps it was all a coincidence, or it really was destiny.
