Leriat V

Leriat sat, his body soaked and still throbbing with the pain from last night's injury.

The relentless chase with Aron had taken its toll on him. Hunger gnawed at his stomach, and despite having rested for the entire day, he felt weak and depleted.

He counted himself lucky that Aron had lost track of him, but he couldn't let his guard down. He kept a watchful eye on the sky, knowing that once the eagle Visbeast locked onto its prey, there would be no escaping its pursuit.

Leaving his body in a constant state of hunger had weakened him, draining his stamina to the point where he could barely sustain a continuous run.

The odds were against him, but he knew he had to keep moving, pushing his body to its limits in the hope of finding sanctuary and safety.
