Lisa Qin was a heiress who had it all; Beauty, brains, a loving family, and the highly coveted Young Master of the Yun household as her fiance. However, she lost everything when she stood up for Kaizer Yun, the most hated Miss of the Yun family. Despite helping the woman who would be her future sister-in-law, Lisa was stripped of her heiress title and forced to attend a rundown university with zero support. Friends and relatives deserted her in droves! Her only ally, the outcast Kaizer became her new roommate in the University. Unbeknownst to her, Kaizer Yun is actually a man! Born as a male, Kaizer was forced by his mother to become a cross-dresser from young, to stay alive in the Yun household. Contrary to popular belief, Kaizer is not just an insignificant man who stays in the female hostel. He is actually a first class graduate and the talented business mogul, Lord K whom the business world fears. But for Lisa Qin, he is willing to remain the unwanted 'Young Miss' of the Yun household.
The day ended in the Qin family with a gloomy atmosphere. Lisa didn't go down for dinner, so her father sent a servant to bring her food but Lisa turned the servant away. Even her stepmother couldn't get into her room when she tried.
Lisa didn't open the door because she was thinking of a way to help her family. Although she sounded like she didn't care if Linda didn't attend Business Academy, deep down, she was sad that her sister's dreams were shattered because of her.
Her five years abroad was almost wasted. Due to her reports, no school agreed to accept her; a mass murderer. Her years abroad were spent doing almost nothing, except that she took business management courses online from the same Business Academy that had rejected her and she graduated as one of the top online students.
One of the reasons she agreed to return to the country, was to discuss it with her father to help her pull some strings so the school would award her, her degree certificate.
When students graduate from Business Academy's online institution with excellent results, they are given physical certificates and all the rights that the offline students get, including a graduation, award ceremony, and so on.
With Lisa's reputation, she won't be given her certificate if nothing is done.
Who would have known that she would be coming back home to meet trouble?
She sighed for the umpteenth time as she watched the boring ceiling. Her father was right. She should have minded her business like she'd always done. Why did she even get involved?
Lisa is not one to care about justice. She's the type that would walk past if one is getting bullied. Provided that those getting bullied have no connection to her, she won't interfere.
Who would even dare to bully someone that has connection to Lisa in the first place, unless they are courting death?
'Vrmmm!'
Lisa was jolted back from melancholy when she heard the vibration coming from her phone that was placed beside her lampstand. She picked it up and glanced at the caller ID. She was about to ignore the call but had a second thought.
She swiped the green button to the right and placed the phone against her ear and remained silent until the other person spoke.
'Where are you? I'm at the front of your gate.'
"So?"
'Can you come out? We need to talk.'
"I don't want to."
'Lisa, don't be stubborn. Your family's company relies on this conversation. I'll be here, waiting for you. If I don't see you in the next five minutes, I will take it as you not caring about what happens to your–'
"Twenty minutes. I'll be out in twenty minutes."
'Lisa, do you still have the face to make a bargain with me–'
Beep beep beep!
Lisa ended the call and threw her phone across the bed and tried to return to her thinking mode. However, nothing she did would take her back to how she was before her phone rang.
After a long time, she hissed in anger and sat up, picked her phone and glanced at the time. Ten minutes were wasted without her doing anything.
She got up and walked to the mirror to check herself out. The marks on her left cheek had disappeared and her gorgeous face couldn't be anymore lovely.
Her hair was made into a messy bun to begin with, so there was nothing to be done on her head. She went to her wardrobe and pulled out a black ripped denim bum short and white shirt, coupled with black high boots.
A few minutes later, Lisa was fully dressed. Standing before the mirror, she smirked at her reflection as she tucked one side of the shirt into her high waist shorts.
Lisa has the pear body shape. Smaller framed upper body, thin waist, wide hips, thick thigh, and straight shiny legs. She picked her small black bag and headed out.
Her family was still in the sitting room when she walked down the stairs.
"Are you heading out? You haven't eaten," Ms. Qin said with worry.
"Yes. I'm going out with Ryan."
The minute she said that, Linda choked on her juice and Madam Qin's eyes shot wide.
Her father whipped his head in her direction. "You said what?"
Lisa ignored him and asked Linda, "Are you alright?"
"Y– yes, I'm fine. I was a little shocked. I thought you didn't want–"
"You haven't eaten anything since noon. Do you want me to get you snacks to eat along the way?" Madam Qin immediately cut into her daughter's words.
"I'll get something while I'm at it," Lisa said.
The man didn't know if he should be worried or happy. He decided to trust this child one more time. Linda said to him on the dining table that she had already told her sister about their financial situation. With that, she should be able to handle this outing and try to amend things with the Yun family.
"Sister, you should be careful out there. You've been away for five years, so you don't know the changes that have taken place in the city." Linda chimed in with her super caring voice.
"Ah, that's right. The city has experienced cases of kidnapping over the past few months, especially when it's this late."
Linda and her mother were trying to remind Mr. Qin that the city is not safe.
Hearing that, Mr. Qin's eyes shone and he immediately turned to look at Lisa who was about to walk away.
"Lisa, you can't leave tonight. If Young Master Ryan is already outside, get him to come in, or go and see him tomorrow morning."
"My time is calculated. I don't have the time to see him tomorrow. If there's anything to talk about, it has to be tonight." Lisa replied bluntly.
"Child, please, listen to your father. He's only after what's best for you."
"Mom, Ryan is already outside and has been waiting for twenty minutes."
"Then, tell him to come into the house," Linda interfered.
"Yes, bring him into the house. You two can talk–"
Lisa quickly cut her father short. "And if he wants to sleep with me before he gets his father to approve the Qin group's collaboration? Should I allow him to do it under this roof?" seeing everyone was dazed after she dropped the bomb, Lisa snorted at her father and left.
At the entrance, she said, "Since the city is dangerous, I also don't want to be kidnapped as there's no money in this family. So, don't expect my return tonight." Her voice slowly disappeared into the air.
No one in the sitting room was able to get themselves after what Lisa just threw at them.
Mr. Qin gritted his teeth as rage, disappointment, and helplessness slowly washed over him. What father would allow his daughter to use herself as a way for her family to get back up even though the boy in question was his daughter's fiance?
Nothing is wrong with that, but not when things are looking so dim.
The man got up and left for his room, leaving the mother and daughter alone.
Immediately he left, Linda hurled her glass of juice at the door in rage.
