"Ma! Where's Papa?" I asked my mother as soon as I woke up. My father isn't beside me.
"He isn't here Danna, he's out of town. Your father's baseball team has a game today. We will watch their game tomorrow. Okay?" My mother explained patiently to the five-year-old me.
I nod my head and yawned. I grabbed the big wood beside our bed and stared at it. It's the bat my father gave me. I don't know why but I find comfort in this chunk of wood.
"You really are your father's daughter." My mother laughingly said. I just smirked at her and asked for my breakfast.
Evening came and I'm so excited and happy despite the fact that I didn't get to see my father today. We slept early for we are going to the nearby city tomorrow to watch baseball. I only know it from stories. It'll be my first time to watch a full game. I slept well that night thinking about the wonders that tomorrow might bring...
