Chapter 14 Story of Ayden and Destiny

After being separated from Leo in the evening, Akshara goes her father's room.

He was listening to his favorite song, everybody loves somebody sometime.

She approaches the window-side chair where he typically sits.

He looks at her and lightly rubs her hair as she sits on the floor with her head on his lap.

Ayden feels he should speak up as she is not saying anything.

How are you, darling? he asks.

Are you interested in hearing about your mother and I?

She gives a head nod.

Your mother is my one and only love, he claims.

We were in literature class together and through play we get close. Even though we were both business majors, your mother wouldn't have even noticed me if we weren't in that class.

I assisted her later on our one-night field trip with the assistance of your aunt Bella (Ayden's sister), since she was at that point losing consciousness.

She lost both of her parents when she was fifteen.

Because her mother was an orphan, her paternal grandparents did not accept her.

When she was unsure of how to show her affection, she would remark, "Hate you."

When her emotions and ideas are in a state of upheaval, she used to remain calm.

I occasionally believed her when she said, "I hate you," but that doesn't mean we didn't love one another enough.

To demonstrate my love for your mother, she wanted me to get married to someone else.

He realizes after he says something that he shouldn't have.

He is relieved to see Akshara asleep when he looks over his lap.

If she had heard that and asked why she said that?, what did you do after?

His sacrifices and his affection would be in vain if Akshara heard that.

However, Ayden adored Akshara and will continue to love her above all other truths.

He carries his daughter into her bed while holding her in his arms.

He wraps her in a blanket before returning to his room.Grandma Beatrice was listening in on Ayden's conversation, but Ayden was unaware of it.

She approaches him and gives him a hug.

"Son, you are the most priceless possession Destiny and Akshara could possess," she declares.

Even though Aunt Beatrice is Destiny's father's adopted sister, he has called her mother for 17 years, ever since the day they moved in together.

These two resemble a mother and son.

Every business partner of Ayden's in White Bridge knows her to be his mother.

Destiny used to call her aunt Beatrice.

Liam, Beatrice's son, wed Bella, Ayden's twin sister.

Being doctors, Liam and Bella volunteered the majority of their time in developing nations.

They have adopted a boy and a daughter instead of having their own kids.

Ayden and Bella chat over the phone, but they haven't actually met since he was in the nation where Bella resides with her family almost five years ago.

Because Ayden was worried that Akshara could overhear something, she hasn't spoken to them.

While they haven't spoken much in the past five years, he used to show Bella her pictures.

Every time Ayden showed Bella a picture of Akshara, Bella used to comment that Akshara reminded her so much of Destiny.

She used to remark that Ayden's eyes were the same color as hers and that her grin was identical to yours.

Every time she said that, Ayden chuckled.

How are Bella and Liam doing, he asks Beatrice?

Why have they not communicated during this time?

Do they also believe I'm acting improperly?

"Son, you have been busy lately with business, Akshara, and home," she says with a smile as she turns to face him.

Same applies to them.

They have been very active as they work on their orphanage.

They believe you to be the world's most admirable individual.

How can they think you are acting incorrectly when they respect and love you?

Ayden, you are the best, and I want you to have a fulfilling life.

I've been telling you to reflect on your life, whether in the past or the future, but you've never listened.

Ayden, there are times when I wish you weren't so good.

I'm glad, mum, he replies as he turns to face her.

Seeing Akshara smile and grow makes me more than content, and the love that Destiny has given me is enough for me to live my life.

As you can see, she is an adult and dating.

Let's call him for family dinner someday.

Beatrice appears astonished.

She exclaims with excitement, "I'm amazed; I didn't realize she was getting older.

She continues, "She will leave us alone when she gets married," with tears in her eyes.

I'd marry her to my grandson if I had one so I could stay with her.

Without her, I'm not sure what I'll do with my life.

I struggle to envision our life without her and furthermore.

Consider requesting that the boy join us.

They both laugh while holding back tears because they are afraid she would one day get married, move in with him, and leave them all alone.
