"Stop talking about death, you idiot!"

Len banged on the table and threw away all the papers on it. Now, the talisman papers fell scattered.

I stood up and now faced Len.

"Why really, huh? You don't like me cheating with those fake amulets? You want me to give up the responsibility to support my pet? Then, what contribution can I make to you and Kentaro, if I just lie on the bed, Len?!"

I was starting to get annoyed with him. Actually no, this is more accurately called my attempt to appear strong in front of Len.

Len then hugged me, the warm embrace of a brother to his sister. Or rather I call it like an uncle's hug to his nephew, huh?

"Please, don't talk like that again, Shino! I promise to do whatever it takes to save you. Trust me, Shino! If Eva-sama can't, then Kentaro and I will work on it." Len spoke softly.

I remained motionless, did not return the hug. For some reason, my tears just fell.

Stupid! Why am I crying so much lately, huh? Is this the syndrome before death? Ah, I don't know.

Right now, this was the only place that Shino felt could ease Shino's emotions a little. He didn't want to go home just yet.

Shino would meet Len again at the house. Shino was still annoyed at being yelled at by Len. Len also forbade Shino to leave the house first. Len told Shino to sleep all day long. That irritated Shino. So, tonight Shino wanted to breathe fresh air. Shino walked in the city park and sat on the long bench, which was in the city park.

However, Kentaro suddenly appeared. When Kentaro asked why Shino was in the city park at night like this, Shino cried instead. Shino had been holding back her tears since doing the examination at the hospital this afternoon. However, Shino was only able to cry loudly tonight.

Just now, while being near Len, Shino was trying not to cry. But, in fact failed. A few tears managed to escape down Shino's cheeks. Luckily Len didn't notice that Shino was crying.

Right now, Shino wanted to forget all kinds of emotions she felt by crying. Shino didn't care even though Kentaro was there.

Kentaro let the crying Shino fall. He gave a smile. In Kentaro's eyes, Shino looks like Sei Tatsuya, Kentaro's master, who is Shino's great-grandfather. Shino really looks like Sei-dono, Kentaro thought.

"How? Are you feeling better after crying, Shino?" asked Kentaro gently. He wiped Shino's tears that didn't seem to want to stop.

Shino nodded like a child. Shino was usually proud when she cried in front of strangers, but Shino didn't feel that way towards Kentaro. In fact, they had only met for a few days. However, Shino felt that Kentaro was more understanding than Len. Shino also felt comfortable around Kentaro.

"It's okay to cry for a man, Shino! Crying is necessary to express all emotions. If, you need a place to lean on, I'll lend you my shoulder, Shino. But, instead, meat will be cooked for me tomorrow." Kentaro spoke sincerely with a smile.

"Okay. Thank you, Ken---"

Suddenly Kentaro's strong hands brought Shino into his arms again. He made Shino's body bend slightly.

Shino was also surprised to see the blood coming from her nose, now dripping down Kentaro's thigh.

"W-what is this? What are you doing, Shino?" Kentaro shouted, looking very panicked to see the teenager who had been crying on his shoulder, was now dripping a lot of blood from his nose.

Shino noticed that and hastily covered her nose with her hand. Blood was still running between his fingers until a few minutes later.

Shino's nosebleed was accompanied by a headache. There were several factors that caused Shino to usually experience nosebleeds like this. Sometimes if Shino was very tired and stressed. Or maybe it was because of Shino's heart disease from childhood.

However, tonight it seemed that Shino had a nosebleed due to a fever. It's been raining since he left the house. Shino walked in the rain to hide her tears.
