"It was a long trip." Said Sora as he looked at the airship that came with them leaving the area.

They had just arrived at the outskirt of their mission area as the airship would return after a week. They still have a long way to go before arriving at their destination.

You must be wondering why they weren't directly near their mission point. They could quickly become prey for those winged Grimms that patrol the sky all day long.

They might be able to contest some of them, but how long could they fight? So the pilot landed the airship close to their destination, and the group continued on foot. It's not like they were in a hurry or anything, so they might as well enjoy this walk.

"Indeed, we are still far from the kingdom." Said Jean as she checked their team supplies as instructed by Glynda to everyone.

They will, after all, live in the wild for the next few days.

The first years were all talking or checking their supplies for the next minutes as Glynda clapped her hands, attracting everyone's attention to her.

'Looks like we are ready to go.' Thought Sora as he looked at their combat professor with everyone as they became quiet and listened to her instruction.

"Is everyone ready to go?" asked Glynda as she observed the parties.

"Yes, professor!" replied every first year as soon as they heard Glynda.

"Good. How about team GLKR and LPSV?"

"We are good to go!"

"We are ready, professor."

"Professor?"

"Yeah, we are good here."

"Okay, then let's go!" said Glynda as she checked everyone's situation as took the lead toward the kingdom.

They kept a simple formation for their walk toward their destination.

Glynda, Oobleck and Port were at the front of the group while the first-year student was in the middle, and lastly, the senior group was behind everyone.

It would take them sometimes to reach their mission area.

"Let's be careful of our surroundings even though we have the professor or senior with us." Said Jean to Atalanta and Sora as they followed the group.

"Don't worry about it, Jean. I'll pay attention to our surroundings." Said Sora as he rolled off his geo element on the ground.

He'll notice any situation on the ground if a Grimm were to happen to walk near his scan.

"Yes, I'll pay attention." Said Atalanta as she nodded her head in understanding. She has a better sense of smell and hearing because of her Faunus heritage, so she is a crucial member of their team.

It was a boring walk as some teams decided to talk between themselves or another group. Sora's female teammates did the same as they were talking with Katalina and Lyra.

Sora didn't want to talk with people now, so he pulled out a sketchbook from his bag and started drawing.

Maybe he can get a few more points….

He is at 75% right now and is very excited about his new character card. After all, this is not the same RWBY he remembers, so getting another character will increase his strength.

He might have to fight a god in the future after all….

Time passed by as the sky darkened. The night soon fell on Remnant as the expedition group stopped by a river.

The expedition group decided to camp here for the night before continuing the road toward the ruined kingdom.

Most first-year students were tired from the long walk as their walking speed dropped after a few hours of walking in the forest.

The terrain could have been better, as the path was rocky during their walk, and some Grimms appeared but got dispatched by the senior group.

They attracted a lot of awe from the first year and especially from the girls toward team LPSV.

They are four handsome guys, after all, and their look is comparable to or even better than some of the current idols in Remnant.

Little did team LPSV know that some girls were fujoshi lovers (Girls obsessed with BL), as their cooperation excited them.

But they did feel a chill on their back every time they killed a Grimm together.

Lancelot: *Turns around in panic*

Lancelot:?

Lancelot: Strange… Did I imagine that?

Lancelot: *Walks away*

Anyway, Sora took out the tents from his backpack and gave them to Tifa and Jean while Sora and Atalanta took care of the food.

They made their camp a little far from everyone as they wanted more space for themselves.

"Well, I brought some ramen with me. Are you fine with that?" said Sora as he takes out three-instant ramen from his bag.

"Ramen? I like ramen." Said Atalanta. Her eyes shined as she saw those three packs in Sora's hand.

"I'll make the fire camp. Do you want to take care of them?" said Sora with a sweat drop as he noticed the hyperactive Atalanta because of those ramen.

Atalanta: !!!

"Of course! Let me show you my instant ramen skill!" responded Atalanta as she brought out a big water bottle.

"I guess she must like ramen, huh?"

Sora left Atalanta alone as he made a fire camp near them. It wasn't hard for Sora because he had some knowledge about it, so he wasn't completely lost.

The night quickly went by as Sora's team enjoyed their night and ate a good meal in the forest. They did get scolded by their senior group as they noticed their meal compared to theirs.

Sora and his team forgot they could attract unwanted enemies at their location because of their food. Well, the scolding didn't last much since Gran, and Lancelot's team invited themselves to their dinner….

"Thank you for the meal, Sora!" said Gran as he wiped his mouth from the ramen's broth.

"Remember not to bring such food in the future, as it can be dangerous if you are alone in the wild." Said Lancelot as he quickly finished a mouthful of food.

The seniors slowly left Sora's team camp as they finished their junior food with light steps.

JSTA:….

Sora looked around in disbelief as he witnessed the terrible storm that swept their camp. Moreover, from the corner of his eyes, he saw a petrified Atalanta with tears in her eyes.

'How ruthless.' Thought Sora as his evaluation of Beacon Academy increased by a notch. He didn't expect to find many shameless and thick-skinned people as his seniors.

Sora learned a compelling lesson this night as he thoroughly learned about his senior's wisdom.

Sora bowed in gratitude toward the departing figure of his seniors as they slowly disappeared from his vision.

"Sora, what are you doing? Those shameless guys just ate everything, and they made Atalanta cry." Said an irritated Tifa as she witnessed Sora's weird action.

Sora faced his team in confusion as he noticed their irritation.

'Ah'

'They didn't understand our senior's wisdom. Leave it to me, Gran and Lancelot!'

"Looks like you guys didn't understand our friend's teaching." Said Sora with a small smile. His word completely confused Jean and Tifa at Sora's nonsense.

'What is Sora talking about?'

'No clue

'Let's listen for now.'

'Got it.'

"Please explain it to us, Sora." Said Jean with a stiff smile while comforting the still-petrified Atalanta beside her.

"Of course! Basically, ....." explained Sora for the next ten minutes as he explained his points with a lot of action and talking as Tifa and Jean's faces darkened.

How can the usually calm and rational Sora say this nonsense with a straight face? Did this trip and previous theory mess up his brain?

"And that's why we should learn about their behaviour as we can use it to…."

"Stop!" shouted Jean as she held her forehead in pain and couldn't continue to listen to this complete nonsense.

Sora closed his mouth as he noticed the weird atmosphere in the camp. Did he mess up something?

"What's wrong, Jean? Was my analyst wrong, or did you come up with something else after my explanation!" said Sora with an enlightened expression as he thought about Jean's interruption.

"…"

"Sora, seiza." Said Tifa with a scary smile on her face.

"Eh?"

"Seiza."

"I-I don't understand what you mean by that, Tifa."

"SEIZA."

"Yes." Said Sofa as he obediently to his partner's word.

[Ten minutes later…]

"B-B-But…!"

"No, but!"

"They just came to eat our food Sora! Don't think too hard about it!"

"Yes…." Said Sora weakly and with a remorseful expression on his face after the scolding he received.

Jean sighed in relief as they finally made Sora understand the actual situation, but it didn't change the fact that they were still hungry.

Those shameless guys didn't leave much food after they swept their camp. Maybe Sora was right after all. How can people go like that if they weren't shameless enough? It is indeed worth learning…

Sora might be into something after all.

"Well, Tifa, I think Sora understood his mistake and let's make more food for us."

"Understood, Jean… I'll find some food in our backpack." Said Tifa as she left Sora alone. Sora sighed in relief as he stood up from his seiza.

He scratched his head in confusion as he thought about his attitude before this. 'Was I overthinking about it?'

Sora looked at Atalanta, who had come back to life a few minutes ago, but she wasn't any better than before.

"Tifa, I left some ramen in my bag." Said Sora as he remembered something. He didn't take out everything he had before, and it looks like he did the right thing.

Atalanta stood up in shock and heard Sora's revelation as she dashed toward the bag.
