Eisha opened her eyes.

The room she was in was unfamiliar to her. Her mind was chaotic, unable to tell reality from illusion. She couldn't decide if it was her eyes that were deceiving her or her mind.

She could recall waking up in an elegant-looking room that was made and decorated with gold. With a chain tied around her leg and a young boy.

It was hard to tell if she dreamt the whole thing, figuring as the memory included her flying on a sword while carrying the boy on her back. It was the strangest thing she had ever dreamt of.

She glanced around the room, her eyes landing on Aldrin's photo on the wall. Her heart relaxed a bit. She had imagined that she wouldn't see him again after she was stabbed.

At the thought, she hurried and searched underneath her nightgown to see if there was a scar where Marisue had stabbed her.
