Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

The Story of The Star Cabal

~~~(POV: Nathan Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Fort Garnik Cantina, Ord Mantell)~~~

Theron and Satele don't have the faintest idea of who and what the Star Cabal really is, and now is the perfect time to share the valuable information I have about a dangerous and unknown enemy with them. "The Star Cabal is more than just a legend that circles the galaxy... They're more real than you could possibly imagine." Theron and Satele both look away for a second with concerned looks.

I remember playing the Imperial Campaign for Star Wars The Old Republic from my past life. It was a good story, but I preferred the others more. What's essential about its Campaign was the discovery and destruction of The Star Cabal. "The rumors and stories that I've heard over the years are no joke, and you're telling me they're real?" Theron is starting to doubt the validity of my claims.

He's not in the wrong to doubt me, and I would to in his position. "The Star Cabal is a collection of powerful people in the Empire, Republic, and in several political systems and criminal organizations spanning across the galaxy. They control everything from the shadows." The Star Cabal is very large and even more powerful.

The Star Cabal was originally formed for a noble goal, one that I could see the reasons behind. "The Star Cabal was founded after The Great Hyperspace War. The Jedi and Sith nearly destroyed everything in their war, but as a response, ordinary people with money and influence sought to control both groups from a distance... In the beginning." They're listening with full attention.

After a while, The Star Cabal's true purpose and goals became disillusioned and corrupted. Similar to many great powers, they fell to personal agendas. "The later successors of The Star Cabal decided there was no freedom so long as the Jedi and Sith remained." I can see why they tried to manipulate me into destroying the Empire. Killing my parents and blaming the Empire.

Theron is typing along in his datapad and recording everything I'm saying. I don't mind, as long as he doesn't share this with anyone. "The Star Cabal wants to eliminate any Force-Sensitive Organization from the galaxy. By doing so, they believe they can bring peace to the galaxy. If the Jedi and Sith are gone, their wars will leave with them." Satele looks down towards the floor.

Theron feels some form of agreement with the goals of The Star Cabal, but he knows that such a plan wouldn't work. The Jedi are the heart of The Republic, and without them, The Republic wouldn't exist today. "So, while these stories are interesting and all, you haven't given any proof." Satele is the one to say this instead of Theron.

That brings me to the whole reason I asked them here. I need Satele here so she can know the truth of what I know, and I need Theron for his SIS contacts and skills, moving information unnoticed. "That's why I asked you both here. We're breaking into a military compound controlled by Mercenaries. The Star Cabals main bulk of forces across the galaxy." While mercenaries are useful, they aren't most skilled fighters in Star Wars.

Theron folds his arms and adopts a thinking expression. Satele closes her eyes and brings The Force into herself. Likely looking for guidance. "Alright, I'll come along and see if there is any truth behind your claims. If there isn't, I'm leaving." Theron has made up his mind, and I look at Satele and wait for her to give some form of confirmation to help.

While I can destroy The Star Cabal on my own, I need allies that I can trust to hunt down the stragglers. People like Theron and Satele have contacts that can help find those I can't get to or track down. Despite my seemingly limitless power, I'm not Omnipresent. "I'll help you, Nathan. What's our first move?" Excellent. This is going way better than I hoped.

I'm glad that I get to do this with my two sons, and I never thought any of this would turn into an opportunity to reconnect with Theron... I was wrong in how I treated him, and I've come to hold deep regrets about that... I should've left The Order to raise him, but I failed. I was too young and unwise to know how important he really was to me... The same thing did with Nathan...
