One Nation, Indivisible

About a week had past, and things really hadn't improved, Moral had been at an all-time low, rainy weather kept their spirits down, and the siege of raiders hadn't stopped. They had been relentless, trying to kill of the last piece of America, and they had the settlement surround.

Bullets whizzed over head as soldiers stepped forth answering Daniel's call to arms. The rhythmic falling of metallic boots echoed like a dying symphony, America had been surrounded by raiders and slaves all looking to tear it apart. "Without some hope, I fear this battle is lost General." said Daniel holding cover next to Barbara. "I admit, this isn't our finest moment, but hope is coming, I'm sure of that."

However, a raider wielding a rpg blew apart their cover tossing Barbara and Daniel to the ground. "The gates are broken! Let the slaughter begin!" Daniel drew his pistol ready to die for his country, his eyes brimmed with fear but courage. As he accepted his fact, he was met by a bullet shield of HA-80, the American Flag acting as its cape flapped in the wind. The bullets ricochet off the armor and the man stands, turning to face his enemy. The man wielding a sledgehammer meant only one thing to the Americans. "THE GHOST IS BACK!" yelled a soldier, getting everyone's eyes put onto the Ghost.

With every swing of the hammer, hope was pounded back into the hearts of the Americans who desperately needed it. The Ghost said nothing, but swung his hammer like John Henry, building a railway of hope. The soldiers emboldened by his return, returned fire at the incoming raiders. Each round that left the chambers of their guns, ripped through their enemies as if they were paper.

"Today is not the day America dies, rather today is the day America finally lives." said the Ghost rallying the troops. He offered his hands to Daniel and Barbara as the troops rushed out, putting down the invaders, once and for all.

"Glad to see you up and moving child." said Barbara, dusting herself off. "I agree with Barbara, without you, I'd be a blood stain about now." added Daniel as he smiled at his friend.

"The timing was fortunate, but this battle is far from over, if you'll excuse me."

The Ghost joined ranks with Liberty Bell and the Old Guard of America. all marching on the raiders. Nothing could've been scarier to the raiders than armored Americans and an American automaton marching towards your forces ready to gut you, leaving your lifeless corpse to rot.

" Be advised, all forces are to execute these assholes, with extreme prejudice!" The air became heavy with laser fire and bullets. The former dying symphony of metallic bootsteps had amped up to be a rock concert of American might. The Ghost pulled out a new rifle, something he'd been given when he joined the fight. The EPS rifle had been made by Leon, and it was one of America's strongest rifles. It punched chunks out of his enemies and tore through their makeshift armor. As the raiders attempted to flee, they were cut down by civilians wielding guns surrounding them. The Ghost grabs the raider boss by the throat and opens fire the EPS rifle into his chest, removing chunks of the boss, then tossed his corpse aside. He then pointed to the other raiders which Liberty Bell promptly targeted. Unleashing the full might of her lasers and her new MOAB pack, the raiders stood no chance against the Americans.

Once the battle had ended the Ghost climbed to the top of the corpses and spoke. "Let this be a lesson to any who dares try to subjugate and kill America. I have no intentions of negotiating, no compunction to do so either. Death is my negotiation tactic, let those who try die by my hands."

The soldiers cheer along with the civilians as their leader had returned. Stronger and more pissed off than ever.
