IS EVERYTHING so easy to do? It is actually not. As much as I want to get forgiven by Abby, it gets harder. I am here with Abby at the shopping mall trying to get a dress for the wedding. She was going through a couple of gowns but nothing suits her eye. I had already bought my tux so... I was done. She sighed and looked at me.
"I am hungry so lets eat something first, shall we?" Abby said and I nodded.
We went to the food court and ordered food. She was playing with her phone and sometimes later a text came. She replied to it smiling and it was bugging me as it continued.
"The food's here." I said arrogantly and she narrowed her eyes at me.
We started eating food and I noticed that she was changed so much. She always had the sad look on her face and her smiled described that something was missing in that spark. Her eyes always looked blank and her white skin was now normal but still her skin managed to look soft. My hands craved to touch her and feel her. She always managed to look perfect though her emptiness was always there to show up.
"Why are you not eating?" Her voice asked.
"Um... sorry." I mumbled and continued eating.
We ate in silence and I managed to look unnoticeable because being a star is not all great. It is fun but hectic.
"Abby, I... I am sorry for all of that." I said with guilt covering me up.
"It is fine." Abby said but I knew that she didn't mean it.
"You know, if you don't forgive me... it is absolutely fine. I don't deserve to be forgiven." I said.
"No, I forgive you. It's all past. Just forget." Abby said with a smile and I smiled back.
We then went to a shop and at last a dress was selected by her.
I STOOD there with my slippers off. I mean... dancing was never my forte. The instructor showed me the steps for the third time and then ordered me to do it with Frank. As I was ordered, I did and fortunately I made it. Frank could always dance so it was a piece of cake for him but for me... it was like climbing a mountain. We were done with our last step and it was now time for Seth and Wizvi. I sat down on the bench and Frank followed me sitting right next to me.
"They look so happy together." Frank commented.
"I know. They are just... perfect for each other." I said and sighed happily.
"Don't you want to get married?" Frank asked.
I really don't know how to answer that. Like a typical arrange marriage, I had lots of proposals. I said no to all of them. I don't know why. All of the men were perfect. Some were rich, some were a pack and some were just what I needed. Mr. Right but still there was something missing and I couldn't say yes to any of them.
"Didn't find the perfect one... I guess?" I replied.
"Oh! So, do you have plans for it?" Frank asked.
"Yeah, I do." I said and he nodded.
We were silent and we kept on seeing them. They were so happy and I wish I could be in there place.
"You will be one day." Frank said to me.
"What?" I asked confused.
"You said that out loud." Frank pointed.
"Oh! Sorry!" I said and giggled.
After they were done, we were back on the spotlight. We did our final rehearsal and to me it was in a word, magical. I loved it. The choreographer was too good I guess. Today once again Frank dropped me home. I was getting normal with him. Today, he touched me while dancing. That is normal but to me it was long wanted. I don't know why but it was. For some reason! Soon, I got a call from Seth.
"Hey!" I said over the phone.
"Can we come over at your house at night?" Seth asked and I could hear Wizvi laughing at the background.
"Yeah sure. And who are these we?" I asked suspiciously.
"Me, Wizvi and Frank of course." Seth said chuckling and I heard Frank say something in the back.
"Yeah. Okay." I said and they hung up the phone.
Now, what the h- is going on? Are they planning to do something? I hope nothing or else they are going to get their arse kicked by me for sure.
I SAT DOWN on the couch dozing as the time passed when the loud bell rang. They always interrupt my sleep. I yawned and opened the door to find Frank, Wizvi and Seth.
"Welcome!" I said in a sleepy voice and then hopped in.
They sat on the couch and Seth quickly brought out a wine bottle.
"Hey! No wines in my house!" I shouted.
"Come on, Abby! Let go! Be free." Wizvi said laughing.
"Yeah right! Now, put this in the bag... please!" I said but they didn't pay heed to me.
They put out four glasses and then poured the wine. All of the three drank it but it wasn't drinking at all.
"Come on! Drink it!" Wizvi said.
"No!" I opposed.
"Just one sip." Frank said.
I rolled my eyes and drank the wine. It was awfully good but I wasn't drinking again.
SOMEONE HOURS LATER-
Too much fun is never good for health and that's what came up. Wizvi and Seth were totally drunk and tomorrow is their wedding. They went crazy and Frank took him and I took Wizvi to different guest rooms. They were settled down and we sat on the couch in the living room.
