"Akazawa-sama, you are my savior. You are a strong man, aren't you? So, keep your eyes open, Akazawa-sama! I will be very sad and feel guilty, if you are gone because of me," Sakurako whispered in a voice accompanied by sobs.
Takumi forced himself to smile, though in the end all he could see was only a grimace of pain.
"I'm fine, Hime. As long as I'm with you, I'll be fine." Takumi spoke softly, almost inaudibly. However, he tried not to worry Sakurako.
"Don't cry anymore, Hime!"
Takumi tried his best to make his voice sound smooth. However, this doesn't seem to be able to reduce Sakurako's current worries. Takumi uses the nickname 'Hime' because he knows that Sakurako is indeed a princess in this kingdom. And Takumi just found out that fact.
"Sakurako Hime?" called Takumi, quietly.
"Yeah. What's the matter, Akazawa-sama? I'm here with you." Sakurako spoke softly, still accompanied by lingering sobs.
"You know what? I've loved you since the first time I saw you in those bushes. And that won't change forever." Takumi was still trying to speak as fluently as possible.
Sakurako's cries were getting louder and clearer.
"I'm sorry, Akazawa-sama! I don't deserve your affection. I've been mean to you, Akazawa-sama." Sakurako gently caressed Takumi's cheek.
Really, Takumi was very happy to be treated like that. His family life is so complicated that he only lives with his older sister all this time. Meanwhile, his father was abroad.
"I'm sorry, Akazawa-sama!" Sakurako repeated her words.
"Sorry for what, Hime-sama?"
"Actually, during our stay together, I've absorbed some of your life energy to survive in the Human World by accident. It causes your body to often feel weak, doesn't it? However, I really didn't mean it like that, Akazawa-sama."
Sakurako expressed honesty. It doesn't mean anything bad. Only circumstances forced her. She must stay alive in the Human World by absorbing Takumi's life energy. Even if it's unconscious. Whenever Sakurako is near Takumi, Sakurako will automatically absorb a little of Takumi's life energy.
"Ah, about that. Wasn't it me who allowed you to do that, Hime? I forgave him, even before you said this. So forget it all, Hime! If I may, I'm even willing to lay down my life for you."
Sakurako's tears broke even more. She kissed Takumi's eyebrows, forehead and hair. Takumi feels very comfortable in the arms of the girl he loves. Takumi even wanted time to stop right now.
"Hime?" call Takumi back.
"Yes, Akazawa-sama? Say whatever you want!"
"I'm tired, can I sleep for a bit?"
Sakurako shook her head, quickly.
"Please, don't close your eyes! I won't forgive him, Akazawa-sama!" Sakurako snorted looking annoyed.
A moment later, Sakurako smiled wryly.
Takumi knew that the smile the girl was currently showing was a fake one. Sakurako just wanted to strengthen the real Takumi.
Meanwhile, the creatures around them only saw the scene. King Saburo continued to listen to the conversation of his sister and the creature, he felt something odd there.
