"Hime?" call Takumi back.
"Yes, Akazawa-sama? Say whatever you want!"
"I'm tired, can I sleep for a bit?"
Sakurako shook her head, quickly.
"Please, don't close your eyes! I won't forgive him, Akazawa-sama!" Sakurako snorted looking annoyed.
A moment later, Sakurako smiled wryly.
Takumi knew that the smile the girl was currently showing was a fake one. Sakurako just wanted to strengthen the real Takumi.
Meanwhile, the creatures around them only saw the scene. King Saburo continued to listen to the conversation of his sister and the creature, he felt something odd there.
Commander Toneri, who in fact already knew Takumi was actually a human, couldn't do much. He knew that Shinshura's knife had been engulfed in magic spells. So, a human like Takumi couldn't possibly survive.
Meanwhile, Itsuki was also unable to do anything. His consciousness was even fragmented at this point. If Commander Toneri had not restrained Itsuki's body, Itsuki would have collapsed as well by this time. He had broken taboos to use his power. It would have a bad effect on his body.
Takumi was still watching Sakurako who was smiling fakely. Even so, Takumi still smiled back at Sakurako.
"Hime?" called Takumi again for the umpteenth time.
"Hmm?"
"Do you know the reason why I don't mind even though you absorb my life energy every day Hime-sama?" said Takumi. The longer his voice trembled and became softer, hopefully Sakurako wouldn't notice, Takumi hoped in his heart.
"Is it because of money, Akazawa-sama? I promised you wealth once if you would help me, didn't I?" Sakurako said, looking artificially annoyed.
"Hahaha, no, Hime-sama. At least you always accompany me when I'm lonely because I often live alone at home. In fact, my father often left me and my sister at a neighbor's house when I was little. You were the only one who wanted to accompany me," Takumi whispered. He smiled sadly remembering how lonely he had been. His mother had died long ago and his father seemed to have a world of his own. Then, his older sister is looking for her own pleasure out there. In the end, all that was left was Takumi alone at Akazawa's house.
Sakurako's tears grew louder when she heard Takumi's sincere expression earlier.
Takumi does not like to see the tears of the woman he loves. He grabbed Sakurako's pretty face. He gently rubbed the clear grains that fell from the eyelids of Sakurako's beautiful eyes.
"Don't cry, Hime-sama! I'm still here, I'm not dead."
