Going Solo
Kai soared through the dark clouds, the wind rushing past him like a living thing, its coolness a refreshing contrast to the tension that had been building up.
His cloak billowed out behind him as he moved, dancing in the wind like a flag of defiance.
There was a certain freedom to this — his body slicing through the air with ease, weightless and untethered.
It was moments like this that reminded him why he loved being on his own, away from the constant chatter of companions and the weight of expectations.
Just the wind, the sky, and the feeling of purpose driving him forward.
Soon, the ground below began to shift. He spotted the dungeon gates, looming in the distance.
There were only two remaining now — two gates he had to close before he could rest, before he could call the job done.
