Jealousy

Shane took Wyonna away after he was done telling Elena off, saying, "Grandpa, Grandma, we'll be taking our leave."

Wyonna waved goodbye to Shane's grandparents and followed Shane, watching the back of the man before her in awe. She knew that a lot of guys who were caught up in an altercation between their wives and their families would usually side with their families, which made their wives look like an outsider.

Yet, he just said very clearly that she was family.

She realized right then and there that it was a good idea marrying Shane after all.

Elena looked at her grandparents with teary eyes after those two lefts and said, "Grandpa, Grandma, I don't know why Wyonna is being so cold to me, and I have no idea what she said to Shane..." She was the only girl in her generation within the family, and her grandparents doted on her for as long as she remembered. She wasn't about to believe that they would side with Wyonna in that.
