The Long Way Out
"Worst Alarm ever." Clark felt that he had dreamed about some faint memories in his past life. However, when he realized where he was waking up, he did not need any time at all to get his bearings.
What he had not expected was that Maria had ended up setting up a sleeping bag right next to him and sleeping at some point. He hadn't even taken the time to be on watch during the last few hours!
That wasn't the alarm clock though. The alarm clock that he had heard was not the sound of an alarm from some electronic items from his past life. Nor was it a beast making sounds that would be considered a threat or call. No, it was the system alerting him of his next quest.
