"Are you saying that I might not know what I contracted with? I hatched this egg carefully." Purple was just putting on an act. She clearly had a smile that said she was glad to be asking.

"I think that you heard this was a snake type egg, hatched it, and decided to come to this market street to get more information. I know you won't toss it aside you have a muck serpent and a grass snake with you too. They are weaker snake type beasts but they are well cared for. Very good health."

An opponent like Clark was not sent that Purple could beat. He had seen the two serpents hiding on her body from a mile away. The grass snake hunted rodents and was liked by farmers. It also had great scouting ability. The muck serpent was a beast that usually lived in stagnant pools of water. It was considered the best snake type beast to make antivenoms from. It came in to contact with a lot of toxic things and was able to grow to fight them off.
